u must have missed teh appreciation posts..

we do appreciate the DT for their hardwork with the newsletter.. fr the contests..that is why u see participation..

u willingly took up this job rite...and u shud willingly be what is required fr the job

personally i think gagan is the best thing that ahs happened to MJHT Dev Team and I will not raise a hand against her nor will i point fingers at Sam(naughty_n_Nice) the CC section mod..i think kis desh forum is one of the best moderated sections around...and whenever mods make posts u do see a lot of thank u posts!

the dev team has a whole lot of work...and goodluck with further activities

if the appreciations were not obvious, we will try to make them more obvious so u guys feel better!

Is that called criticisim? I am talking about actual criticism not comments that is to instigate argument or fights, i am against it too. :) As i dont know you or your moderation so i cant say much about you. I am infact talking about moderation of other parts of the forum i visit, eg DMG forum (Trina1). Criticisim is STRICT no there be it constructive, every criticisim is considered as bashing in that part of the forum. Topics are closed without actually giving any Moderation note, bans are given without actually giving 5 warnings or sometimes valid reasons too. When we PM her she either never reply's or gives late reply and says we cant always be there for you when she is seen posting is her/friends CC. How busy is that... hmmmm

Anyways, as you have nothing to do with this there is no point of talking. Its just pity that even the GMs or the Admin dont do anything so who are you? Just a viewbie LOL!

When SO MANY people are complaining about a certain moderator, how come NO ACTION is being taken against him/her? I mean like DB was asked to apologize and not repeat his mistake , it should apply to others Mods as well, right?

kudos to sabrina for opening this topic and everyone else who have posted it here... i really dont have much to add other than, obviously agreeing with you!

i'd also like to thank 'mango' for trying to work this out with us rather than closing us down.. i wish we had more mods like you here!

i just hope that the GMs and Admins realize that alll of us who are supporting this issue have experienced it more than enough times.. and thats why we actually raise our voices against the moderation!.. like someone said in this thread, we just dont get up in the morning and say 'lets bash the mods today cuz i got nothing better to do'....

We have never been a DT member before, so hard for us to step in your shoes. I'm sure many members here would love to step in the DT shoes, but no one gave these members a chance yet. As far as application is concerned whenever I'm logged on IF I see a tiny sign that says "Join the Development Team".

It's easier for you to step in our shoes, since you were a member once upon a time not so long ago.

Kavya, its not right for you to say how exactly a mod should be. I agree the names mentioned are gr8 dev teams, but is it because they agree to you? If a DT disagres to something a member thinks is right, we get are classed as "bad dumb mods?". Well i don't think thats fair.

Also i'd just like to point out, all DTs are different in their ways of handling forums. You either like a DT or Not. We can't copy somebody else's way of moderating.. I'm sure this is something all DTs will agree on.

Also as a member said.. "We don't wake up in the morning to just go bash on i-f".. well even the dev team doesn't wake up just to go lock your topics or to give you warnings.
