Off course her sarees and accessories are pretty. No one denies. U can find her best actor in the show as well. That's ur opinion. Others may have different opinions. And who is frustrated here? None of the commentators are in the acting profession to be frustrated or jealous with the actor. Yes many are frustrated with the show for sure.

I am seeing same expressions right from Geet.. to Madhubala to whatever ..

Whatever... she very well knows she has a great fan following ...but then she chose this disguisting role .

Hate her for that .There are many actors who will say no to this role denying that i will lose my fans .But madam ko koi parva nahi ...she doesnt care for her fans...


Crying alwaysss

Quite like Drashti and have followed almost all of her shows, right from DMG, Geet, Madhubala, Ek tha Raja, Ek thi Rani right upto Pardes and Silsila and I can't help but agree. She does tend to play a certain type of character which are similar in nature and excels when the chacracter is tailored to her skill set but Nandini isn't one of them. She isn't that versatile, though her looks may have been suitable for the role. Her portrayal of Nandini has highlighted her limitations as an actor and part of this is due the way the character has been written and directed too. Especially when you look at the actors and better written characters around her, her acting just comes across as sub-par.

To put it simply, she is surrounded by stronger actors who are excelling in their roles as their skill set caters to their characters whereas she just seems to have been miscast as Nandini. Yes theres no denying she's trying hard and she has been good in a few scenes but majority of the time I can't connect with Nandini both because of the way the character has been written and shaped and because of the portrayal.



Coming back to the topic- is she just a style icon, for the most part- yes that is what she is in this show and has been for some time now. She has a very strong fan following some of whom do have a tendency to hype her up and IMO currently a style icon is all she has been reduced to.

Madhubala? Ha ha ha. Actually i thought that was the worse serial dd has done. But after silsila my views changed. Now mb will be the 2nd worst serial what dd has done according to me .

If that is romance then thanks my definition is way higher. 😃 bas ek bade channel pe agaya show matlab ye nehi ke bohot acha hai. Maximum romantic scenes to copy ki hui hai lol.

Par ab after silsila competition ki level is high cause to reach this level of crap it happens once alifetime.

Overrated and style icon with just average acting skills.

DD is a good actress but unfortunately as Nandini, she is nt to the level or should i say that CVs haven't given her scope to be REAL! She is always decked up, too much decked up and audience just ends up terming her as the dumb and beautiful! I feel the actress wanted to do something different but unfortunately it has backfired with a badly written role. It seems CVs dunno wat to do with the character. After the video confrontation, they showed her concern but next minute all decked up to have romantic dinner when she is supposed to feel the pain of her friend and soulmate but... and next day she is so OTT dress in pink see- through saree and backless blouse in temple when you have the wife looking all so REAL with pain all over her face. DD is gorgeous and has such a pretty face and in trying to cash on that CVs have turned her into only a glamorous and fragile doll in the show and audience gets all annoyed with her always tip-top look with tears eyes eyes and stupid dialogue like - my jee ghabra rahein hain...shub shub boliye Kunal ji...and all those behenji "unempowered women cringeworthy dialogues
