But i dont also think that mauli is being tortured. some adjustments all have to make in marriage. if ur partner is out of job you have to pitch in to keep the house running. kunal is more idealistic than realistic. to start up ones own thing it takes a lot of effore. you cant enjoy movies with ur wife who is working to make up for lost salary. i dint like the way he got angry when mauli dint turn up for the movie. guy she is working to make up for ur job loss. And being a doctor one thing is that emergencies come up, thts a rule, kunal being a doctor himself dosent understand this. And secondly why will mauli tell kunal to get a job. its been his dream to start a clinic and she is only supporting him in that.

the show gives a bad example for sure
dont help your friend or any woman coz she will snatch ur husband. secondly i have no sympathies for nandani type people, well ur bestfriend of years told u ur to be husband tried to molest her and you dont believe her n side with ur to be husband you know from a few days . why because love (ROMANTIC LOVE) has to preceed every other love. then she comes to save you n you end up falling in love with her husband

@bold...this is the reason we make a family. Help each other at the time of need. But the way they started the story sp the promo it looks like it was a mistake that wives help their husband when they need them.

I should add this as point no.8...what this show is teaching us. Never help your husband,
never trust him. Because he will never understand or appreciate your work. Lol.

@red ... this is the most worrying part. When they make a serial they must know people are watching this and they have responsibility for the society. They must know this can harm the victims. You can't just write irresponsible stories which will destroy the humanity in us. Because all the 4charcters in this serial are very real.

So many films and shows are made based on smugglers, dons, murderers, psychopaths, underworld. It doesnt mean whoever goes to watch them is going to become a murderer, psychopath or drug peddler right? I think the audience is wise and old enough to differentiate right from wrong. Same with this show too. Audience is wise enough to know what is right and wrong. Nobody laps up anything blindly. And most importantly nobody watches hindi TV serials for learning anything. They watch it for entertainment purpose and if it doesnt entertain then then channel change and switch onto another show.. thats how it works. I advice you also to not look upto TV serials for moral life lessons. Read about noble and great people and how they helped the world if you do want to learn good things and lesson in life.

@bold...because this is what common people do. When movies and serials used to show that if a woman is raped...she has two options...
1. Commit suicide
2. Marry the rapist

I heard this dialogue from ppl of that time and they used to believe..."the rapist married the girl so case is solved.".

It took the movie "Keya kahna" to make them understand "Yes. It was wrong...there is nothing to feel ashamed to be a single mother"
"Geet Hui Sabse Parayi" which gave fame and name to Drasti was another serial like that...which gave hope..." This is not the end ...you still have hope."

"Taare jameen par" kind of movies made us socially aware.

Don, OUATIM etc kind of movies are not accepted by the social workers as those causes bad effect on viewers sp teenagers. The movie "Aatish" was bashed because of the same reason. It effects our society. But the difference between movies and serials is that "you can choose movies and avoid to watch bad movies". But serials run at every home. You can't be that irresponsible to the society.

I still dont understand y ppl r making posts again & again abusing Nandini & Kunal for betraying Mauli. They dont even know each other, leave alone interact. We dont know the story yet. We dont know what will be the character arc of all the main protagonists. Why so much debate & hatred based on some assumptions & theories. Has Kunal already started cheating Mauli. Has Nandini already become a homebreaker THE OTHER WOMAN. Have the CVs so far shown any such thing? So basically u r abusing a set of fictional characters for actions which u "ASSUME" they will do in the future. Seriously??????

To the TM, dont u at least need 2 give time to the CVs 2 1st tell their story bef u even criticize them for promoting infidelity & EMA. And I am yet to get a response from u on women who stay at home & dont work.

Disagree! Offcourse you have a choice with the shows you watch too. People have remotes in their houses too. If they wouldnt like a show or what they are trying to show they always have the choice to use their remote and change to another channel. So your whole point about not being able to control what shows on TV stands invalid. And just like you said there are films like Tare zameen par but those films clearly tell you that they come witha social message. Tare zameen par, gulab gang, mardani all came with social messages and were promoted on those messages only. Not every film or show has to be about a social message. This show never said we are giving a social message or watch us because we are going to show empowerment. It is a slice of life show about what usually happens in the lives of modern day couples and the choice of watching it or not is upto you. Nobody is forcing viewers sir pe bandook rakhke ki watch the show or else we ll shoot you. Everyobe makes a choice and willingly signs up for the show very well knowing its theme. And all the films you mentioned OATIM, Don series and so on were blockbusters. Thousands of people watched them all over the world. Are you telling me all those thousands are now underworld mafias and drug peddlers because the films showed them as cool stylish people? No right! Thats what I am trying to say that audience is smart enough to know what to pick and leave from such films and shows. Nahi toh you would see that everyone has become a smuggler or don around you. 😆

Geez. Give the show a chance atleast before being so extremely judgemental. You post turned me off as soon as you said Kunal is worse than Rajdeep, it didn't make sense to me anymore after that. Plus I don't see Mauli getting tortured emotionally or physically, she is very happy in her marriage and can take responsibility for a while till her husband finds his place. It's not a rocket science for a girl to work.

The show tagline is jazbaatt can't be right or wrong but they never said your actions can never be right or wrong...feelings are something uncontrollable we can't control our feelings they have their own way out but we can choose which one we can follow which one not...if nandini and kunal start feeling something for each other I m not going blame them till it's only a feeling and that's how even in the promo both of them said even if they started feeling for each other unintentionally they will never hurt mauli...I seriously don't get this post first you guys make a assumption then start targeting a charecter based on that assumption..pls let first watch how and why they start feel for each other and will they go forward and sacrifice it for mauli or just cheat mauli..in case they cheat mauli even I will bash both of them but in case they only start feeling for each other but keep mauli above them I will start respecting them more..I don't see even in one promo they shows something which hint about EMA...in both promos kunal and nandini said they have feelings but for them mauli is more important..even the way they are meeting with each other is no way romantic it's some circumstances which lead them to that situation...this show can have many angles let's just wait and watch how story unfold than making up a mind based on some assumption and start blaming and bashing charecters over it..

This post is based on 1st week only ...plus promo.
It says morning shows the day.
I saw other works of Spheres( the PH)...they hire stars and then they make crap stories...stars leave. Then they bring new comers and run with the name only. ( Balika Vadhu...kitne Anandi thi? 😆, Ek Tha Raja ek thi Raani..Drasti left...IPPKND-ek baar phir- which had no connection with the original IPKKND😕 etc)

In here neither Nandini nor Mauli's situation is easy. Both are real characters from our real world. Who are struggling. they are either our sister, neighbors, aunts, co-workers etc.

I know them...and I know it is impossible for girl who was abused like Nandini to fall romantically in love with her best friend's hubby immediately after the break up...wovi a good friend who just rescued her.

And Mauli...she is a friend, a wife , a lover...more than everything she got a heart of gold.

The problem of some ppl is they think...husband has an affair...jaroor biwi mein koi kami hogi...aapki baari aaney do aunty. Tab dekhungi. 😆

No one told Kunal to leave the job...he just talked with a front desk officer and left. Some men do that. That is also not an unrealistic thing. Should we support them? No.
There are men who either get sacked or the authority force them to leave the job...we should support these men. But the PH showed the type 1 men...leave job and go to frustration.

I hope the Sphere learned from their previous serials...Drasti left one of their old serial too...as it had no story .

Domestic violence shouldnt be trivialised by comparing it with some silly tagline. Nothing justifies violence and abuse. NOTHING!! No abuser has any jasbaat and no jasbaat justifies violence.

The more u rant the more u r revealing ur ignorance. Lemme try 1 more time. So basically based on the PH's prev shows u decided tat this show ll b crap & u r abusing. Wow! I am impressed. And u r telling me tat in the 1st week of the show they actually showed Kunal & Nandini having an affair. They actually showed it & u actually watched it? Are we even watching the same show. I watch a show called Silsila tat airs on Colors at 10:00 PM IST. Which 1 r u watching SISTAH?

And calling folks Aunty? Again wow! So from judging fictional characters & fictional shows u r now judging real people like me on this forum. Keep going. You are dng just great.

And since u r talking on & on bt feminism. Why do u expect the man to go 2 a job & support a woman. Why s'd Kunal earn. Why cant he be a stay at home husband & y cant Mauli earn & support the family. If u r giving lectures about equality then stop expecting a man to earn & feed u. Let Mauli earn & ve a successful career. Me & others will be cheering her all the way...

You continue with ur rants. Its quite entertaining & is also increasing the forum activity which has been quite dull for some time now... Keep entertaining us with ur posts! Hurray to gal power from aunties like me...

@bold ...I don't know you...when did I mentioned your name? Please calm down.

When did I say anything about equality? Did you read my original post carefully?
If a husband works outside wife should take care of the house.
Same goes with men. If a wife works outside...husband should work at home.

Uparse sasuma sends her bahu immediately after she comes from clinic to dance with her hubby. And she danced. I just want to know what is the secret of her energy? 😆 Because I know Doctors and how hectic is their lifestyle.
