Exactly! I agree with both of you!

Now that you've made this point, I'm thinking that Ishaan should've gotten to know about this at this point.

At first I was thinking ki this wasn't exactly Suhana's secret to tell Ishaan.

But this was kind of a phase in Suhana's life where she NEEDED a life partner you know what I mean? It's like if Ishaan didn't play a role in this crucial a moment in Suhana's life, then really what exactly is his point in her life??

Suhana NEEDED someone to talk to! Someone to pour her heart out to at this point. Someone who gets her for who she is like Ishaan! Someone who has SEEN her before she was married and came into this family, and has seen how far she's come. And Ishaan is like the ONLY person who has!!

Ishaan is like the only person in Suhana's life who has been a part of everything! He has watched her grow and become more mature since she's been a part of his family.

So it just doesn't fit, that Ishaan wouldn't play a role in this moment of Suhana's life!

I just don't get how the creatives can show a scene like Suhana getting so emotional and upset to the point of REALIZING that all her life the way she's been living her life has been pointless!??

I mean something THIS significant! How can you NOT build up on that?? It's like did we imagine Suhana say that or something? You can't just have a moment like that and not build up on it!

Like you said Minu (sorry don't know your name), SOMETHING had to happen here!

And like you guys said, telling Ishaan about this was the only way things would've moved forward. Right now things are pretty stagnant...nothing really came out of this.

It just wasn't convincing that Ishaan was trying to cheer up Suhana without even attempting to know the REAL reason for why she's upset. It just doesn't work when you're helping without really knowing what the problem is...:S Ishaan looked like HE didn't even know what the heck, or WHY he was doing this!! He was totally clueless! :S

Anu and pallavi...I see what you mean, they made focus on cheering her up rather finding the root cause of the issue, I guess they didn't want anyone other than suhaana knowing about the issue 😕...I wasn't think in tat angle, now that you mention it, I can see what poignant scene could have come out had it been handled differently.
@minu_8 you made an excellent point, however I still justify BM's telling suhaana not to tell anyone else, because that is BM and she is worried for the others and wouldn't the entire family to know and end up distressed. However, I still feel she could have opted to share it with Ishaan, although in ther terrace scene I thought she was going to, when Ishaan interrupted her, he doesn't feel the need to think that there is more to this than what meets the eye, which is a little disappointing.

LOL I know exactly what you mean. ;)

I feel like Jai is a good actor, but only when his scenes are WRITTEN well also. He doesn't exactly bring anything special, or of his OWN to the front. When his scenes are pointless, his acting is also really weird. He acts like he's himself confused and clueless....ends up looking like a joker to me! :S 😆

He's got potential for sure...he just needs some ACTUAL characterization and well written scenes.

@Pallo: What I'm getting from the scene today is that they only wanted to see Suhana's mood lightening up so this is the route they took.....and I can even understand that Ishaan was just trying to cheer her up but like you pointed out, I so wish they had shown him trying to delve deeper to understand WHAT she was thinking....it felt very surface level for him to just dismiss it as her upset about Deepak attempting suicide....why don't they want Ishaan to know the truth at this point?? How will that achieve anything? I think it would have been amazing to see Suhana expressing this to Ishaan and him consoling her THEN.

Honestly Ishaan's "cheering Suhana up" attempts didn't cut it with me today....I felt the scenes lacking in written quality.....why don't they show Ishaan doing anything WORTHWHILE in this show other than just popping up to cheer up Suhana?! Move on!

Exactly yaar! See the basic point is...why would you start helping out someone without even knowing the problem in the first place?!

Ishaan knows basically NOTHING! Makes me feel like, is he not a part of Suhana's life??

All Suhana needed at this point was Ishaan to lend an ear. He needed to be there for her and really LISTEN to what was in her heart before going out and doing any cheering up or anything of that sort! If this scene had happened AFTER Ishaan first talking and LISTENING to Suhana, it would've still been fine.

And exactly like you said, how will this achieve anything indeed? Without Ishaan knowing the truth about Deepak and RB, you can't really move ahead with the story even I feel. I would actually go as far out as to say that. Ishaan is a part of Suhana's life...and something this significant that happens to her, needs to be shared with him as well!

This would've kind of been a great brigde to the whole Ishaan's childhood friend coming track too! Since they are heading that way and all..I mean the next focus is on IS na I'm assuming? Toh this was the PERFECT way to move their relationship forward, move the story forward for that matter?!

dear iam also waiting for ishaan and suhana to have a heart out convo...and they cud have had it...bt they dint and thats not a prb for me...may be another situation...see suhana has spoken her heart out to badi maa abt how she felt abt lfe and all and the least she can tell ishaan now is abt RB and ishaan is more sensitive to that topic than suhana...their relationship would not have grown there as both will be worried for RB and may be both crying...so thats my point...and one cannot change all together in a short time..suhana is still the same suhana and thats the reason she started shouting at the manager...may be she will again become sober...

and i totally agree with one point..ishaan has been staying back and has to take charge now of both their lives..i hope the CV's realise that...and abt jay's acting...i think its the character of ishaan that may be annoying...bt i think jay is acting well...

@ bold: See that's another point! Ishaan toh is actually more attached to RB too than the other members of the family! He of all people deserves to know the truth too!!

Like jeez, this is affecting everyone he is close too! His wife, and Radha bua! They're kind of like THE two people he is closest too! Doesn't he hold a place in their lives? Doesn't he deserve to be let in on what's going on? He needs to be a part of their sorrows, their LIFE!!!

See I don't agree that their relationship would not have grown if we saw Ishaan being a part of this. That's exactly my point! We would have in fact not only seen a groW*H in Ishaan and Suhana's relationship, but ALSO Suhana's character, which is kind of THE whole point of this show na?

The show is about how Suhana's character grows as she comes into this family no? So this phase right here would've only enhanced that!

I do agree with you that Suhana can't exactly change overnight. I'm not expecting that either. But she HERSELF says that she finds her life pointless!!! I mean these are her words...may not be the exact words...lol...my memory isn't that great also..but that's the gist of it right? My point is how can you show the MAIN character of a show say something this significant and not build up on it???

O and yeah, you may be right about Jai's acting vs. his characterization and all. 😆 Yeah I agree Jai is a pretty good actor only he does need better characterization to be more convincing as an actor.

Yep, exactly yaar, I just wanted them to delve a little more into the root cause...I guess that's why I was a little dissatisfied. :( *sigh* lol

@ Bold: Exactly!! I was kind of looking out for a poignant scene like that...hence the disappointment. lol

And yeah exactly. It's still understandable if they don't want the whole family to know about this, at this point...but I think Ishaan is too connected to be out of the loop. He's too close to both Suhana and Radha bua to not be a part of this. He needs to SHARE this with them somehow!

And about that terrace scene you're mentioning, I thought the SAME thing too actually! I really thought we were going to see something there. But we didn't exactly get much...I even liked the way Ishaan was trying to comfort Suhana on the terrace, with you know telling her that this has actually worked out for the better! Deepak and RB have gotten closer as a result! And I was like YAY now we're getting somewhere! I did like THAT Ishaan!

But that didn't really last long...and there was no build up. *sigh*

I guess they wanted to kind of just end this track and start something new. I was looking for a build up and character development...but I guess the creatives just wanted to end this thing right here. It was a great opportunity in my opinion to show us some meaningful scenes.

arey yar pallavi..iam kind of confused...ur points are all valid and ishaan should know the truth...bt i still dont want that happening...can figure out the reason...anyways...may be CV's want the third person entering track alone to show the groW*H in their relationship...

and u know what when u said these scenes should have happened..i feel i would def be nice if it would have happened...bt as i said for me it was ok without that too....

Exactly Pallo.....as of now, Ishaan has just started looking like a spectator in Suhana's life....pata nahin kyun but aaj kal toh he's started looking out of place....Suhana's bond with the family has been strengthened perfectly....but crucial moments like this are the ones meant to build the connection b/w IS...but what does Ishaan do?? He's busy bragging to everyone smugly about how he's taking Suhana out?? Woh bhi after Badi Maa TOLD him? Khud kya soch raha hai tab se? Yes everyone wants to see Suhana happy again but why don't you TALK to her about this matter rather than try to incite her into one of her tantrums just to take her mind off things?? I want IS to TALK!!!!!

And honestly I have to agree that these days certain gestures in Jay's acting have started to annoy me as well.....he's overdoing it and it's started to look put on....like you pointed out, he doesn't bring much extra to the table unless he gets great written material....which he isn't these days so the cracks are showing.....the way he was laughing happily behind Suhana in glee when she was ranting at the manager seriously looked WEIRD to me😕

From my point of view, today they only concentrated on cheering up Suhana, nothing else. So as a sample dose, I think today's IS scene was more than enough. So I felt Ok with that. Yes, they could have made it in a more energetic way too...

Regarding Badima telling Suhana to hide truth, here I go with Badima because I also have same feeling that Suhana shouldn't disclose this to anyone else even to Ishaan. As myvoice told above, Badima thinks about the whole family and if Suhana is this much hurt about RB story, then we can imagine how others including Ishaan will react. Kashyap family will be like "dead". I believe that there are some truths which should be kept secret if it is good for other, because i don't think saying story of RB to Ishaan and others in Kahsyap parivaar will give an happiness to that family....rather that will hurt RB more because everyone will start look at her with sympathy which i dont think is right...

In case of Sushaan, me too eagerly waiting for their heart-heart convo, but i still believe that CVs now completely concentrating on Suhana's transition from "Bajpayi" to "Kashyap"... wherever Suhanna needed Ishaan, they showed him there as a strong husband, atleast officially... making her understand that you have to become good bahu, you did wrong with Rajni bhabhi and etc... so i will say for a character like Suhana, a good husband should be one who stands behind and direct his wife in the right path... because am sure one day Suhana will step backward and join her official husband with heart full of love....

Awww yaar 🤗 Ok you're too cute! 😆

Aww well chalo, I'm glad you liked the scene then! :) I don't know...me and my overanalytical budhi I guess...😆

Thanks for hearing me out still and putting up with all the hyper-ness/ ranting! 😆

Yeah, I guess the third person thing will be the next 'push' for IS. *sigh* Somehow I would like there to be more development with the IS story before that. Seems like a third person track is something you add when you're all out of ideas or something...lol Doesn't give me a good feeling somehow...

Ok here I go overanalyzing that as well! 😆 But seriously, it would've been awesome if we had gotten some poignant scenes with IS today...and then you know I could've lived with the third person thing.
