I do agree with pooja here... I have seen few OBS videos...and yes the way ragini plays suhana is different from that in OBS....its like suhana in SGP is more kind of a gunda..lol... whereas in OBS lolita shows that girlish shyness from time to time..especially in those eye locks and all...i guess lolita and suhana though same are very different..maybe its the way they are written..or maybe its the way they are being played by the actresses in question....

but i do agree...jay needs to bring in some variations in his acting ...its getting repetitive...
and the dynamic between IS needs to change soon!

To me personally the issue is more about how Jay plays SGP Ishaan than how Ragini plays this version of Suhana......Ragini's brought her own unique flavor to the character and I enjoy her more than Lolita even if she's not that typically girly/shy like Lolita....but SGP Ishaan is TOO much of a champu not really helped by Jay's acting from time to time. No denying that a mad character like Suhana is hard to approach in some ways....but isn't the whole point supposed to be about how Ishaan GETS her so well??😕😕.....why is he becoming background furniture in her life instead of their relationship growing??

But If Suhana is way too over the top then Ishaan 's char's little variation will go unnoticed ...I think the beauty of their relationship was that the one who was the boisterous started to get on the backfoot and the one considered the champu started calling the shots.....So i think here suhaana's char is so way ahead that its hard for any normal guy to match cause she doesnt seem to feel the girly way even though she did have feelings for Sid ...and was shown to be in love and all...Jay is hampered by his char here where as rajdeep wasnt ...and he cud get the variations its very one dimensional for both suhaana and ishaan

After the sid epi every action of ishaan use t leave an impact on lolita ...but here it doesnt she is shown so devoid of feelings

That's not really true, Pooja.....I can give an example here....in the scene when Ishaan gifts her the dress and compliments her about how beautiful she's looking in it, we DO see some awkwardness from her side....she felt conscious....although she tried to lighten up the situation by making a joke like, "main sharmaaun?"....but I wouldn't say Suhana is sooooooo boisterous that no normal guy can catch up......Agar Ishaan ko phursat milegi from his CHAMPUGIRI, then he'll catch up naa?

Suhana needs understanding.....and that is what Ishaan gives her when Sid never could....the issue is not about Suhana being too much for any guy to handle....the issue is that Ishaan needs to MAN UP and this relationship needs to be developed properly....he needs to do more in her life other than just make cow eyes at her or drool over his own scooter.....those were squandered opportunities by the writing team.

That's the writers fault in Suhana's characterization....they are busy building Suhana's love story with the family, not Ishaan.....that's why. She's not devoid of feelings, come on....they showed some moments off and on when she DID look at Ishaan in a different light, but they never built on that momentum....and given that Suhana's a huge tubelight, situations kept moving along.....they don't realize that now all of a sudden we are being expected to see how Suhana's "in love" with Ishaan after a third girl enters when they've never BUILT on that aspect of their relationship.....WHAT is it about him that she could be in love with?? How will it be believable that she fell in love with him??

Anu , fine yr example is there... ....but seriously I feel their char's are just too one dimensional ...and i dont find them realistic enuf like the original ...for me it has been such a disappointment as i kept waiting for the transition and stuff .....but it just never happened ...now with the friend coming if she feels jealous and all ...it wud just not make sense to me ...Though atleast it has given me something to discuss ...😃

Reading your post makes me even more sad. When they had such a perfect reference, could see how effective the relationship development was in OBS, I dont understand why they screwed up IS soo badly. It looks like they knew what they were doing with Ishaan lolita relationship, here they seem to have lost the track and dont know how to get back.

The way you described IL groW*H in OBS is so perfect. and frankly that is how it should be. Post sid, the way lolita started noticing ishaan and appreciating him... its so hard to believe the way suhana is soo unaware of ishaan's existence.

the more i see and listen about how IL was handled in OBS the more disappointed i become of the CVs.

if suhaana was shown to be thus with everyone i would find be fine with it even if i didnt like it as atleast it would be consistent. But here when she shown over-sensitiveness to some people/events and then is like totally blind with ishaan makes me feel like a failure on CVs part.. a lack of consistency in her characterisation than anything intentional... and it has worsened over last few months.. infact post sid SGP seemed to have taken a reverse route compared to OBS.

Thing is, Pooja....Suhana was NEVER a realistic character....she's MAD😆.....dunno if Lolita in OBS was considered a realistic character in the beginning....but anyways Suhana never was and never will be....there is nothing normal about her....her thought process, her actions....she's extraordinary since day one😆....unique piece. And I wouldn't call her one-dimensional also but I do agree with you about transition and character evolution. The Ishaan-Suhana relationship BADLY needed and needs that evolution....and that did require evolution in Suhana's character as she grows to love Ishaan.....but what bugs me more is the over-champufication of Ishaan which starts to make me wonder myself WHY would Suhana fall in love with him?? LOOK at his lame antics😆😆

LadyM has also mentioned this many times that the Sid revelation needed to be a turning point in IS's equation....yet that never really happened.....we got some really nice IS scenes during that period, no doubt and Suhana did grow to care for Ishaan more but he still remains largely a background fixture in her life that seems to amuse her or touch her emotionally from time to time, that's it.

I agree. Not only yesterday but IS scenes over last several episodes have disappointed me.

And i have never been consistently impressed with Jai's acting. It has always been in selected scenes. Some of his mannerisms really annoy me.. but that is a different topic.
I was disappointed in Wednesday's episode itself.. when badi maa told suhaana (the rest of the scene was no doubt very good and well acted) not to tell anyone and suhaana agreeing that she will not tell ishaan also. I didnt want that. They should have shown Suhaana herself not telling anyone and badi maa should have trusted her discretion. And i would have liked to see suhaana tell ishaan.. atleast that would have shown he was different from rest of the family.. and even if suhaana didnt tell ishaan.. i would have liked to atleast see her feel depressed and want to talk about it with ishaan and then maybe think he treats radha bua like a mother.. he will be shattered knowing this truth and then decide to remain silent.. somethign atleast..
i am glad there are others who thought so.. bcos usually I over analyse scenes and very few scenes in their totality satisfy me.. i am always thinkign the scene was good.. but that one dialogue rang false.. or in one place the expression felt artificial.. and so on.
I hope they do something about IS.. Enough of Suhaana-Family

bold - Thank you! THAT is exactly what I felt on Wednesday. Why shouldn't Suhana share this bit of news with Ishaan if he is her husband and RB is Ishaan's aunt? What harm would have come if Ishaan knew the truth? He would've been shattered but wiser about RB's situation in life. He of all people has never judged RB. If anyone else had a right to know besides Suhana, then it was him. At least yesterday's cheering up scene wouldn't have lacked in depth.

Now I have to claim something: I actually liked the scene. It did seem random, but Ishaan's attempts at cheering up Suhana weren't all that lame to me. I thought his bemused expressions were spot on. Sometimes we do the weirdest of the things to make the person we love snap out of their gloom.

Would I have liked it if Suhana had shared her feelings with Ishaan? Yes! Would I have liked it is they would've had a poignant conversation after that? Yes! And would I have liked it if Ishaan tried to cheer up Suhana after her disclosure and his poignant conversation with her? Yes! Yes! Yes! But this didn't happen. I too felt like the makers were in a hurry to shove the seriousness under the carpet to maintain their image of this being a light-hearted serial. Maybe it was the channel's directive even, who knows!

Re: Jai's acting - absolutely no comments!

I've said this before and am saying it again. I STILL feel like their relationship is way too platonic for a husband and wife. At this point in time, Suhana has to start understanding Ishaan's importance in her life. Ishaan's bhondu-ness and their lack of chemistry is making things a little bit incredulous these days. The makers are so focused on Suhana getting involved with the family, that they've conveniently left Ishaan out of the equation. Unless the do something to bring Ishaan and Suhana's relationship back on track, I won't find the third angle plot convincing AT all!

Exactly Anu! Sid's revelation should have been a turning point in their relationship. But since then, IS relationship has shown zilch groW*H. And THAT bit is becoming quite a prickly thorn these days.
