I don't understand why this forum still has so much aggressiveness when it comes to the jodis of this show. I completely understand that other people have different experiences, different backgrounds, and different interpretations of concepts, and I respect that because I'm not right all the time. I'm human, not a robot. But, why is there always so much divide and random accusation when it comes to a SaSum topic? 🤓
In case nobody's noticed, the critically acclaimed film was designed with Saras and Kusum getting married in the end. Therefore, as a literature student, I think it'd only be rational and logical to assume that the SaSum jodi shares equal importance with the SaMud jodi, now that we've reached a certain point in the plot of the saga. 🤔 So what is this discussion of negativity, I have no idea, because I always learned that plot devices and symbols are not negativity. They hold a meaning that is valid, no matter how tragic or cheerful they may be for interpreters.
So, keeping that in mind, the next rational step would be, "oh, something like this is bound to happen, because it's written right in the Wikipedia article we all researched and discussed about millions of times on this very forum!"
And I'm actually genuinely surprised that's not the case. 😲
If you don't like SaSum, awesome. I respect that. But if I were to give my opinion (and I have in many instances) I'd tell you I absolutely loath what the writers did to the SaMud jodi. They bombed it, they wasted the potential of both of them, and to an extent, even mixed up the actors with the badly written characters and plot for many forum members. 😆
But you don't see me going ahead to every single SaMud topic on this forum and parading that. Why? Because I know the value of respecting people's opinions. Just because you're a SaMud fan, doesn't mean you're not a fan of Saraswatichandra. We're all here for the same reason. So why there is so much hate on SaSum topics, which are RIGHT THERE, by the way, on Dailymotion, YouTube and our television sets is beyond me. 😳
It happened in the film, it's happening on the show. SaSum is equally as important as SaMud, and it's unfair that SaSum topics always get hated on so much. Let's please, for goodness sakes, stop dividing this forum into "them" vs. "us." We're all fans of this show, and SaSum happened in the books. Let's get over our personal egos (look what happened in the show for instance, when certain characters didn't have the capacity to do that) and learn to respect each other's opinions for once. 😊
