Though to speak of better things...suggest you catch the movie sometime...made in 1975-76 (I think) under a path-breaking and creatively his best Yash Chopra...so it does not have the glam treatment...but the concept & content is wow... imagine this topic being discussed in mid-seventies in India...

I get what you are saying .. honestly I too get zoned off at times.. Saras' locus standii as you say.. what is it exactly? I don't know why has he taken it upon himself to get Kumud Pramad together.. when the biggest threat to his plan and Kumud, is he himself.. Kumud on the other hand looks more resolved and knows what she is doing..she seems to be having a plan.. Saras? I don't know.. organizing party to convey the Desai's that all is well?
