No..she is an educated mature girl. And Paro was completly different even her styling was more like a Bengali because the author of Devdas was a Bengali.. She was in love with Devdas since childhood..She was ready to risk her family honor to meet Devdas in the dead of the night..You think Kumud would do that? I dont think so..so yes these are all different characters with very unique personality traits..Just coz they look similar which is coz they are all Bhansali's leading ladies, his vision doesnt mean they are copies of each other.

The first thing which striked me on seeing Kumud is that she's trying hard to be like Nandini from HDDCS & Paro of Devdas 🤔 Watching JW for the 1st time on telly & am no judge about if her casting was fit or not. Maybe if she brings in her own style of acting to Kumud's role instead of being wannabe Nandini/Paro, Kumud might look like a genuine character. 🤔 I stopped watching the show after 2 days coz it bored me to no end 🤢 but the forum is quite interesting 👏👏👏 😃
