I agree, there is something missing.
. I'm not sure what .. its not clicking..:/

But I will watch because it's only the beginning,
Over time actors get more in depth and comfortable
with the role and improve a lot..and end up being brilliant!
So it's only time before she shines.

She is perfect for Kumud. In fact she brings life to Kumud. She is a perfect choice. No one else can potray Kumud but Jennifer.

Coming to kumud ,i never tried to tag into her one dimesion of her personality ,ofcourse her character has various shades ,but then i summerised her into a category.Like Saraswatichandra ,he too has a lot of shades to his character but how he defined in the promo ,or how would i basicaly define saras ,basically a guy who is traditional ,not interested in love ,very serious ,not so cool, on the other hand kumud is woman who dreams about love,a rajkumar ,her soulmate ,very much interested in love ,marriage ..In different tv shows,there are different character who has thousands of characteristics ,but we identify them with some main elements,if i asked to define navya ,she might be having so many shades but i dont pen down all her qualities right.

For me Saraswatichandra is gautam ,the day i saw first i felt that could no other person who could play Saras.Even jenny said many times karan and she would discuss what if they both were in same show Saraswatichandra ,but after watching the show ,i feel gautam is the face saraswatichandra ,when it comes to kumud ,from day 1 i dont get that feel ,That spark is missing actualy i hardly knew gautam before the show but jenny ,i have watched most of her shows,i m not hater of jenny ,its only that i dont find her apt for this role ,may be with times ,she also proves that she is the face of kumud ,but thats future story ,all i m saying jenny is good ,but she needs to improve ,i dont find that progress in her performance,her perfomance is become stagnant,apart from speaking gujrati and her ghagra choli ,how different do u find her performance in both shows.With every show one needs to become more better.

Nways u might not agree with me ,but i think jenny needs to perform better to get into the skin of kumud.May be she will take time.

I m not one of those audience who silently grasp everything thinking that i dont know anything ,director knows everything.If that the case there would be no critisism ,no improvement .Its always criticism that leads to improvement.

I m sorry ,i never meant to personaly attack her ,the thing is i dont find growth in her performance,from what i seen last one i want see her better ,personaly i dont know jenny,i only know her through her interviews,but there s one thing striked me off her latest interview ,she kept saying that karan saw the promo and he said what so special in the promo is jenny,nearly 2 times she told this,i know the interviewer is fault to ask her same question again and again but i got slightly irritated that time that she keeps on telling how her husband praises her all the time ,coudnt she speak 2 words for SLB at end of interview,isnt a dream to become lead of SLB ,who made so many actresses into superstars.first time he is producing a show she being the lead ,i was expecting to say something ,but 😆...she is not at fault completely ,i got slightly irritated by her that time but i dint call her proud becoz of that .believe me ,all i want to see her performing better in future.

You are obviously free to think as you please, but I think it usually takes about a month for the actors to settle into their characters and for the audience to see them as those characters and not the actors portraying those characters. Perhaps a month later if you feel still that a particular actor is not suited to play the character he/she is portraying you know that something is off 😆

I think at this point we don't have much insight into why Kumud or Chandra are the way they are, what makes them tick, their motivations. Once we know their characters better we will appreciate them better. Or not. Time will tell. 😳
