Ragini:The first daughter in law of Leela.She is a very dutiful loving daughter in law of that house.She is Anmol's loving wife.
Anmol:He works in Dubai.But now he has come home to attend his brother Ramesh's wedding.
Ramesh:He is a cool boy who loves to enjoy life.He is more closer to his sister in law Ragini than anyone else.He works as the editor in a book stall.
Priya:She is a very modern girl who fell in love with Rameesh on her book stall visit.Her parents brought proposal to Ramesh's house as she is madly in love with him.

Ramesh and Priya have a grand wedding.
Priya wears a beautiful orange salwar kameez and ruby ornaments for the reception party.
All the guests have gathered around to see the new bride.
One day:You look very beautiful.This salwar kameez and the ornaments suit you very well.From your appearance itself we can understand that you are rich.Leela is lucky.You are more beautiul than Leela's first daughter in law Ragini.
P:No need of praising my looks.I know that i'm pretty.I have won a lot of beauty contests.
That lady does'nt like the way she said that.
She:Though the second daughter in law has beauty,she lacks the good character which Ragini possesses.
Priya gets angry:No need of passing comments on me.My husband is there to talk about me.
Priya goes out of the room.
Leela comes that way.That lady:Leela...be careful..your new daughter in law will destroy your happy family.She will create problems between all the family members.
Leela gets tense.

Anmol goes near Ragini in their room.
He looks deeply into her face.She blushes
R:What happened?LOoks very happy.
A:I'm happy because i'm back to my wife after a long time.I'm going to celebrate it by enjoying each and every monent with you.
R:You are the oldest son of this family.But you behave like the younger brother of Ramesh.Today was Ramesh's wedding.Not our wedding.
They both laugh.

He goes closer to her.
A:Though we are not a newly married couple,what's the problem?We are like a newly married couple.Right?
She blushes.

Ramesh sits near Priya.

R:I will introduce all my family members to you.
She smiles:But i have already met everyone.
R:But still...my mom is very sweet.Anmol bhaiyya is very serious.Ragini bhabhi...i have no words to talk about her.She is the sweetest person in this family.She is like my mom.She loves me a lot.She is the person who understand me the most in this family.
She gets irritated:Are you silly?If Ragini bhabhi shows love to you,there may be a reason behind it.I know human psychology.She is not that good.Be careful.
Ramesh can't tolerate it.
R:I know my bhabhi very well.You don't have to tell anything about her.

She smiles.

Ram:Status?What status do i have?I really enjoy my new job.
P:Resign this job.My dad will get you a prestigous job.

Ram:I told you..I have no intention to change my job.
Priya is irritated.

Ragini is the daughter of retired head master Prabhakar and Savitri.Her younger sister Maya dreams for a luxurious life.She stopped studies as she is poor at studies.She loves her relative Jeev.Jeev is a good journalist who writes poems.Their wedding got fixed long ago.Ragini's younger brother Bal is very serious and a studious student.

Ragini and Anmol are set to go to Ragini's house.Ramesh decides to join them.
Ram:Priya..get ready...we will go to Raggini bhabhi's house.
P:Why should we go there?I'm not interested.
Ram:Oh come on Priya.
He forces her.

They all go to Ragini's house.It's in a village.Priya is least interested in them.She walks along the compund.Maya's are in Priya's costly saree,ornaments and make up.
Priya goes near her:Why are you walking alone?
P:To be frank i did'nt like this area.I hate villages.
Maya lies:Ya..i hate living here.I wanted to join a college in a city.But it did'nt happen.
P:Why?You did'nt have good marks in 12th std?
Maya lies:No..not because of that.Here in this place no body likes girls going to cities for studies.That's why.
P:Oh!Narrow minded people.Why are yoy not wearing any grand dress?
Maya is embarassed.She lies:I have locked it in my cupboard as people who live here don't like girls wearing such costly costumes.
P:Oh!Why can't they allow people to live their own life?Villagers are cultureless people.

On the way back Priya tells Ramesh about what Maya told her.He feels like laughing as he knows that Maya is good at boasting.

Maya bursts into tears and runs away.
Jeev becomes upset.His mother Sati comes near him.
R:Jeev!
J:Mom...Maya fought with me and ran away with tears.
S:Don't make her cry Jeev.She loves you very much.She is mad about you.I think she is furstrated for the wedding getting prologed.I think we should conduct the wedding immediately.
J:Now?No mom.
S:Why?Are you not interested in this wedding?

S:Like Maya fears are you losing interest in her?

She threws that paper away with anger.Jeev becomes upset and he walks away.Maya takes that paper slowly and reads it.She is excited:Jeev has written a poem about me?Wow!
She runs after him:Did this poem come from the bottom of your heart?
He does'nt say anything.He looks very serious.
M:You thought i will ignore your gift?Can i ignore your gift?
He looks at her with wonder.
He never expected this kind of a reaction from her.
M:I loved your gift..love you..
She runs away giggling.He smiles.

Maya goes to Anmol's house to stay there for a few days.
Priya:I was getting bored.I'm happy that you came.I have not gone to the beauty parlour for a long time.Let us go now.
Maya is excited:Beauty parlour?Wow!

Maya wears a simple salwar kameez.
P:Ah!You are wearing this salwar kameez to the beauty parlour?Wear a modern dress and come.
Maya thinks:My God!I lied to her that all my good dresses are locked inside the cupboard.

P:What?You came to the city without it?Ok...then don't come with me to the parlour today.

Ram:She will never be hungry bhabhi.Because her stomach is full.I don't have to feed her.She knows to feed herself.
Ramesh goes away.Ragini's face becomes dull.

Anmol is set to go back to Dubai.Anmol and Ragini are controlling their tears.Anmol's eyes are wet.His lips shiver:Ragini!
She bursts into tears.Then she wipes her tears.

He is really upset:I don't know how i will stay there without seeing you.I will miss you.
They both are really upset.
A:But next time when i come i will arrange your visa and take you also to Dubai.

lovely scene and emotional too both in tears as anmol going back to dubai..his promise to apply for ragini's visa soon and hope he succeeds as both cant stay without each other.
