it does not matter...look at Parul Chauhan, is she not successful. She and Sara Khan had experienced every thing together in Bidaai offscreen. She is never put down in Bidaai sets or by her friends...
Very well said!!😛😛👏👏👏👏👏👏Originally posted by: -JONAKI-
Why can't they show even dusky people are also succesful and they can also be good as well.I just hate when they showed that Choti Ma turned evil because she was dusky and jealous of Vasu. It's not right.

Are you guys kidding me? Do you think such discrimination does not exist? of course not to that extent, but it is still there in people's mind or "fair and lovely" and other fairness cremes would have gone out of business by now.
One of our family friends who happened to be from well educated family from Bihar used to tell my aunt to get her daughter married into Bihar as she was fair and won't need a dowry, rather would be treated like a princess.
When one of my cousin had a daughter a year ago, the first question most relatives from her in-laws side asked was is she fair like you? she is fair and her hubby is not so fair. she was shocked.
Kaushi is of old generation and they did care (ofcourse not all) about looks then as girls were not that qualified then. I agree things are changing now, but I still hear old people talk about color and gori - kaali etc.
