dear sweetsomya
i am fully agree with u , sach yaar in logon ne to dark girl ki image hi bigaad di hai , yeh log kya dikhana chahte hain ki dark people dil se bhi dark hote hain wo hamesha doosron ki khushi se jalte hain. wo weak hote hain unmain sirf paane ki ichha hoti hai dene ki nahi, dark sister hamesha apni fair sister se jealous feel karti hai. yeh kaisa massage hai bidaai serial ka . jaisa balika badhu ko notice gaya tha na vaise hi is serial ko bhi notice milna chaiye. i am with u yaar

this show never moves beyond the skin colour..tht is the problem..in the world there are all sorts of people..and every single person has both good and bad qualities in them..its when the bad overpowers the good there is evilness..and here sumhow that aspect is linked forever to the skin colour..maybe coz of the insecurity..bt i wnt say tht only the dark complexioned people are shown evil and vice versa..malti is fair,so is avni..while malti is an idiot, avni is outright evil..to the extent of plannin murders..so y think of only chotima..and how to forget vasu?she is probably the most complex character in the show..yes what they are showing here is tht dusky people dnt deserve any self confidence which is crap..earlier it ws ragini and now they are starting to put the same nonsense in tammy's mind..the girl was a perfectly happy confident girl and now the fairy issue has been pulled beyond control and ubtan nnsense also started..

Are you guys kidding me? Do you think such discrimination does not exist? of course not to that extent, but it is still there in people's mind or "fair and lovely" and other fairness cremes would have gone out of business by now.

One of our family friends who happened to be from well educated family from Bihar used to tell my aunt to get her daughter married into Bihar as she was fair and won't need a dowry, rather would be treated like a princess.
When one of my cousin had a daughter a year ago, the first question most relatives from her in-laws side asked was is she fair like you? she is fair and her hubby is not so fair. she was shocked.

Kaushi is of old generation and they did care (ofcourse not all) about looks then as girls were not that qualified then. I agree things are changing now, but I still hear old people talk about color and gori - kaali etc.

I have heard bhiar is not as developed as other big cities of india are, there people still are uneducated and holds the rustic thinking
And I have also heard that people in bihar love to watch TV they are rather addcited to it
Dont you think shows like bidaai which is hell bent on proving that when dark girl faces discrimination she gets envious of her sister and rather has not guts to come out of this problem strongly, indeed is fully dependent on fair girls for their happiness
dont you think such kind of shows will futrther reinforce the very notion already prevailing in bihar regarding dark girls
would this show help in changing society thingking reagrding dark girls in positive way or its just strengthening the prevailing notion among people by highlighting weak points in dark girls and putting them into comparision with their fair sisters in terms of intelliegence, maturtiy and goodness
All the silent readers who strongly feel bidaai is indeed wrosening situation for dark girls please do come on this thread and write down your views
We really need to combat this injustice

@topicstarter--- I 100% agree with u. BIDAAI have no meaning for dusky girls.
BIDAAi started with good social point but with times it lost it.....
RS ji promoted this show by saying the story of two girls who have different skin colour...and how their colours will create problems in life (pre & post marriage ) will be worth watching.
RAGI represent a dusky girl girl. She started with good note. She was loving & caring. She never worried for her skin colour (even she was not getting any family support ) for her colour. She only got symapthy but no support...
Her mothers' single minute worry to make her fairer always remind her how bad is her skin colour. Even her father never said her that your dusky colour is equal superior (fair--weatish--dusky)...😡
They worshiped LORD KRISHNA but never gave an example of KRISHNA's SKIN COLOUR to show the importance of dusky colour. 😲
Not only in society I felt that dusky people have no space in this show also.🥱
AMBIKA was there 2 show VASU's goodness.............
RAGI's character was used to show only SADI's goodness.....
😆😕😭
CTs bend RAGI's charatcter to each & every possible extent.......... 2 show others fake goodness😕
Every fairere character(VASU,, SADI, MALTI) of this show always get a chance to justify their action...But dusky characters never get a chance to justify their actions.
AMBIKA did not get any chance to justify her anger over VASU.......KAUSHI never get a chance to show actual reason of her weird nature......And what about RAGI.....????????////////. She always get aadhe-adhure scenes (so cant expect more)😕
RAGINI started with very strong note and continuisly rising in very appreciable speed. And at the point she set a milestone for dusky girls by refusing to marry a greedy man (4 sake of family).
Only once she felt low for her colur when RANVIR refused her (after TAJ MAHOTSAV)..... She asked to her mom why she cant like anyone???? just only bcoz she is dusky....😭😭.
But after that track all dusky people issue vanished.
Its my POV.....that I felt that in last 1.5 years CTs were trying to show superirority of fair people & meanest side of dusky people. Each & every track was just leading to contrast between FAIRER & DUSKY (& outcome---fairer is good)😕.
Our society is still dealing with colour issue. there r lots of people who criticise dusky girls only bcoz of skin colour...
Its my personal experience------------------------------
BIDAAI is offering more & more opportunity 2 criticise dusky girls to that peoples who dont like dusky colour.......🥱.
A man with dusky skin colour also pinched a girl by using offensive word "KAALI" ....
And After watching BIDAAI they r criticising a dusky lady more
Bcoz of RIFT TRACK peoples r hating PARUL😭😭😭
She never got a chance to justify RAGI's actions 🤔
I already requested to RS ji in his blog to deal with this issue......but he have no cares for audience......
There r lots of dusky beauties in BOLLY WOOD & TELLYWOOD.
Everyone knows about KAJOL. she had lots of movies.......not any single movie represent her low than fairer. she always highlited as most confident lady.........
RANI MUKHERJEE is also dusky but never showed as low compare to others. Even she have a beautifull song "SAAWAL SI EK LADKI DHADKAN JAISE DIL KI"
Few years back MONA SINGH & DEEPAL SHAW came to a show and argued over the colour issue. MONA was supporting fairer colour & DEEPAL was in support of DUSKY colour.
DEEPAL's each & every word was correct. She was showing crucial conditiuon of dusky girl in society.
Even parents have unequal behaviour for childs just only bcoz of skin colour.......
Even in her one interview BIPASA BASU admitted that she is criticised badly bcoz of skin colour😭😭.
At the conclusion no any dusky girl can feel proud by watching this show😕😭
they always feel low by watching it.

see discrimination exists everywhere abt skin colour..even educated families, when it comes to marriage alliances suddenly get this notion of fair beautiful untouched girl evn if their sons are the biggest jokes on earth..not limited to the bimaru states..i ahve seen it in mumbai also..and heard of the same frm my north indian frnds..bt the point is bidaai, instead of trying to tackle it is adding to the issue wid this overblowing of the situation out of proportion..kaushi of all people shud know..she has a good man for a husband who has never made her feel inferior..her daughter got married to a fantastic guy who made her feel beautiful..so y start this nonsense again now??
