I think this slap thing has been dragged too much...ppl do get lil rough once in a while in married life...after all that is what marriage is...bittersweet!

If Ahem is very strict and reserve and wants things to be perfect and in no nonsense way, then nothing is wrong in it!

I just thought about it...when your wife orders a jewelry worth 5lakhs, then its a big sum and needs to have approval...and if one says that Ahem didnt go into the details, then she also didnt ask or tell him anything after getting the necklace...

She's too naive at times when it comes to keeping her point in front of everyone!

Unless one stands up for oneself, nobody listens these days...but our Golden boy has understood his wife and not just listening to her but adhering to it as well these days...

All said and done...I want Ahem to help Gopi in standing up for herself and know the difference b/w right and wrong...and he should be compassionate enough, which he's already showing, to make her overcome her fear and awkwardness in front of him!😊

I did Munni.. Honest 😛
Although I cannot be as forgiving as you, (I do think he could have acted better and whatever the reason, no slap for me.. ) I am being bowled over bu Ahamji's new avatar..
That is why I like him. He knows that Gopi will never expect anything from him. But he does not take advantage of the fact. He sees her fear and he calms her down. He is the only person who understands her quirks and tackles them properly and that too in a short span of 6 months.. He is marvelous..😃

and abay he will make up to her... eventually

but he is not mean and nasty,,,, it's the kalakaries and the stupidity of his wife which led to his behavior,...
in that situation, when the illiteracy thing, the necklace thing came up,,,that is when he slapped her... and any man with a heart and mind in the right place would do the same as what he did...

so he did not hit her out of evilness and hatred,... it was out of frustration and anger triggered by the kalakaries...

so i would say he was not wrong in that situation... it was a misunderstanding between them which he will eventually erase it with his love and trust

Agree Munni that his ego is no more in place it is taken over by the sweetness of Gopi...he is listening to people, treating them fine, helping others etc..
But few points though justified could still have been avoided by Ahem...the physical abuse & abuse her in public at every given opportunity...it is fine that he hated her & could not stand her but somewhere he could have just tamed his anger...thats all...rest the family who had witnessed him abusing her were a witness on how he took care & treated her during & after the accident...& now he ensures that she is well taken care with full love !!!

Goo one Navya.. I do not agree to what he did before (though I do see Munni's point) but I like it how he is changing himself and knowingly or unknowingly making up for the same things he did to her.. And if our predictions come true, Ahamji will surely repent when the Kalaakaris are exposed.

It's about more then the slap. That was just one incident.

Be honest here guys Aham treated Gopi like dirt! And yes he has changed and improved.

But we cannot forget the past. We can forgive it. But it is impossible to forget it.

navya, harini we are again going the same way which we talked about few days back on navya's thread ...😆

he did abuse her out of anger, not out of planned hatred or evilness

i never said he did not abuse,,, i still say he abused in anger and not preplanned

Anger is something which cannot be controlled easily by a person of Ahemji's age and the work pressure

he would have controlled it, if he had been to a medication camps for 10 days a year or if he had attended an anger management course...but no

the guys' love is taken away...married to illiterate and with all the stupid mistakes and kalakaries he should have controlled his anger...

wow... what an irony... in real life u see the same behavior from a person similar to Ahemji... just because it is a TV show we want him to be controlling his anger😕
