Well, am working. I undertake ethnographic studies. It's part of anthropology. I don't study tribals in a remote land (though I'd love to). Instead, what I do is kind of 'hi-tech anthropology'. I study user behaviour, to understand their lifestyle, communication environment and technology needs. This I give back as inputs to the zillions of geeky engineers in our company ๐. I try to give my feedback from the field, such that the techies can understand the problem areas, as well as opportunities. This they then put into the next product, application or feature of the technology device, which they create. Unfortunately, not all my inputs / feedback goes into products, or features, or apps. But, I hope they will someday!
Among the recent Hindi movies, I liked 'Dil Chahta Hai', Lagaan' and 'Hera Pheri'.
Talat is my favourite singer (though I like said before, it's very tough for me to say "Hey, such and such is the one and only favourite for me" ๐
Five of my favourite songs? Oh that's tough again! I have at least a 288 favourites! Anyway, here goes...Sorry, couldn't stick to 5 ๐
- Shaam-e-gham ki kasam [Talat]
- Seene mein sulagte hain armaan [Talat, Lata]
- Phir tumhaari yaad aayi e sanam, hum na bhoolenge tumhe allah kasam [Talat, Rafi, et. al.]
- Ab ke baras bhejo bhaiyya ko baabul [Asha]
- Aansoon samajh ke kyoon mujhe [Talat]
- Meri taqdeer ke maalik, mera kuch faisla kar de [Lata]
- Har ek baat pe [Lata]
- Purano shei diner kotha [Hemant]
- Aamaar raat pohaalo [Pankal Mullik]
Just realized that most of my favourite songs are somewhat serious, slow and soft ๐ Gosh, you guys would think that I'm sort of a maudlin wallflower!
