Thank you Manju-ji ๐Ÿ˜ณ I too have always wanted to interact with you, since your comments on IF are so interesting and so full of life!

Well, am working. I undertake ethnographic studies. It's part of anthropology. I don't study tribals in a remote land (though I'd love to). Instead, what I do is kind of 'hi-tech anthropology'. I study user behaviour, to understand their lifestyle, communication environment and technology needs. This I give back as inputs to the zillions of geeky engineers in our company ๐Ÿ˜›. I try to give my feedback from the field, such that the techies can understand the problem areas, as well as opportunities. This they then put into the next product, application or feature of the technology device, which they create. Unfortunately, not all my inputs / feedback goes into products, or features, or apps. But, I hope they will someday!

Among the recent Hindi movies, I liked 'Dil Chahta Hai', Lagaan' and 'Hera Pheri'.

Talat is my favourite singer (though I like said before, it's very tough for me to say "Hey, such and such is the one and only favourite for me" ๐Ÿ˜Š

Five of my favourite songs? Oh that's tough again! I have at least a 288 favourites! Anyway, here goes...Sorry, couldn't stick to 5 ๐Ÿ˜‰

- Shaam-e-gham ki kasam [Talat]
- Seene mein sulagte hain armaan [Talat, Lata]
- Phir tumhaari yaad aayi e sanam, hum na bhoolenge tumhe allah kasam [Talat, Rafi, et. al.]
- Ab ke baras bhejo bhaiyya ko baabul [Asha]
- Aansoon samajh ke kyoon mujhe [Talat]
- Meri taqdeer ke maalik, mera kuch faisla kar de [Lata]
- Har ek baat pe [Lata]
- Purano shei diner kotha [Hemant]
- Aamaar raat pohaalo [Pankal Mullik]

Just realized that most of my favourite songs are somewhat serious, slow and soft ๐Ÿ˜† Gosh, you guys would think that I'm sort of a maudlin wallflower!

Congratulations Sarita ji!!! I have never interacted with you before, so let me ask you very general questions to you.

Are you a student or working?

If student then what's your major, if working what's your area of work?

Which hindi movies did you like recently and why, name 3-5.

Who is your favorite singer & name 5 of your favorite songs.

That's all for now.

Hey thanks Bhaskar! Know what? I was often confused between T.Bhaskar and just T, until I once saw T ask a question and T.Bhaskar respond to it. I knew it was too weird for the same person to answer one's own question! ๐Ÿ˜›

And now to answer yours. My 3 questions to KS would be:

1. Dude, have you ever thought of taking a 'katora' and setting out into the twilight, unknown? That 'katora' will have at least 1 or 2 rupee coins to give it company anytime of the day, 'coz there's a philanthropist in us all.

2. Why don't you try showcasing your talents to some distant, Amazon tribes, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far away? I'm sure they will find some use for it - like keeping away the wild, carnivores at night, instead of lighting the fire.

3. How about taking an alternate profession, like that of a hired killer? You have honed this talent all these years by successfully murdering the music directors' creation in any case! ๐Ÿ˜•

Ok Bhaskar, that was Sarita at her meanest!! And now am sure I'll be kicked out by the coordination and dev team for this blasphemy

Hi Jaya, thank you!

My eyes, 'coz my smile could lie. But, my eyes? Never

A bunch of violet orchids, 'coz a bunch of red roses are easy to buy / come by. But, if a guy bought me violet orchids, I would know the sincerity of his affection and commitment of purpose.

Actually both - one without the other is like breathing through one nostril

Rafi - Who can resist the passion and the romantic, caressing touch of his voice? I would probably love to spend my sunny moments with Kishore's voice. But the depth of my emotions will only be revealed with Rafi's.

Lata - She sang with her being and forgot herself, whereas Asha - who also sang with her heart - never forgot herself

Amitabh in 'Sholay', whose depth of emotions you could always imagine and fantasize about in solitude. Whereas Amitabh in 'Abhimaan' didn't leave much for imagination - the male, egoistic and chauvinistic part was only too real - in fact, for most women in our society, brutally reminiscent and familiar.

If not in Alaap, I would've loved to be in an introductory meeting ๐Ÿ˜› (and that also means.....)

My most favourite singers have always been Raju and Aparna. Loved Raju's 'Dekha na' and the most recent Marathi song by Aparna. Pawan's 'Bauji' song was also very, very cute!

The kiddy round actually has been my favourite / most enjoyable round, coz I went through listening to various songs before zero-ing in on one๐Ÿ˜† And, in a way, I relived my childhood all over again as I listened to them.

I've found all rounds to be tough and none easy ๐Ÿ˜ญ

One thing about my mentor that you don't know? Hmm....actually having spent most of my life with her, it's kind of tough to say just one thing. Aaah! She dislikes people sitting on her leather chair and breaking it! ๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜› She also dislikes anyone reading her red-coloured, personal diary and making notes from it. But, what she dislikes the most is people putting their autographs on her school notebooks with their baby scrawls ๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜›

There! I told you more than ONE thing about her ๐Ÿ˜‰

Great to see you in the hot seat.. always wanted to know more about you.. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Here are some rapid fire questions for you....

With reasons please, choose one of the following:

Your smile / Your eyes

A bunch of red roses / A bunch of violet orchirds

Weekend listening to music / Weekend reading a book

Md. Rafi / Kishore Kumar

Asha Bhosle / Lata Mangeskar

Amitabh Bachhan in Abhimaan / Amitabh Bachhan in Sholay

Here are some more 1-2 word answer ones...

If not in Alaap, you would have wanted to be in -

Which one has been your own most fav performance in IF SRGMP so far?

Which one has been your most fav performance (from another singer) in IF SRGMP so far?

Which one did you find as the easiest round/ most difficult round/ round that you enjoyed the most?

Tell us one thing about your mentor that we do not know.
