Whether Sa Re Ga Ma will produce some new starts or not but one thing is sure that it has exposed the realities of these music directors. None of them have talents as great as the yesteryear's great music directors yet they all have been bragging a lot.
First I agree with one fact that Ismail has a very big attitude problem. He does not know how to talk in front of camera, he talks more like a goon. There should have been some decency in his tone and selection of words. That had been clearly lacking from day one.

Then Himesh's behavior is like a kid. I am not sure if any of his hits have lasted for more than few months. He is a kind of mushroom music director which grows whenever the climate and conditions are good but he behaves as if he is of a class of Pancham or likes. He said with elan that he is going to make Vineet, one of the participants of his gharana as future star. Dude first think of your future and then about someone else's! And then he went on shouting like Hariji's age should be extended to 1000 years, that was ultimate! I had never seen a better "reality show" than that! Was it a musical contest and they were judges, no I got it mixed up that night, for a change the participants were judging the strange and intense altercation between them! What a shame! And why Zee TV did not censor it? But in the last episode telecast yesterday he was very polite and down to earth. He said a good line that all music directors here are my senior and I would accept whatever they have to say.

Of all in the lot I had never expected Aadesh to burst out! He was carrying himself very well so far until I heard this news. Jatin and Lalit are also not carrying themselves very well. I am not sure what is their problem but they have always something to complain in each participant. But one has to understand that none of them are perfect nor very matured yet. But they are OK in the sense that they have been not too harsh and they always back their arguments up with a proper explanation. Sometimes they do make sense and they are mostly critical on the performance. So I would say that they are doing their job what they have been given to do, though at times they are little too critical and harsh as well for even as small mistakes as forgetting few words in lyrics. However in yesterday's episode Joyeeta took the things out of proportion. She might be a good singer but so are there many more! Agreed Lalit should not have used word "Kotha" (commenting on her poor(I would say pathetic) way of singing the song Mohe Pangaht pe nandlal..from Mughal-e-Aazam) but that was true to some extent. What Joyeeta thought perhaps, was that he was calling her one who sings in Kotha (may be her knowledge in Hindi is very poor). As a singer one has to sing so many styles and no one can deny that Kotha has a particular style of singing and why she took a great objection to that was beyond my comprehension. she has been too emotional and has made the show look like a kindergarten level. Why she breaks down every now and then? She needs to be educated that we want to watch a good performance and not hear the miseries of people as where some one is coming from and likes! She was telling in her first appearance that she had to come from Assam to Delhi and there is only one train, travel of which makes one ill! What that has to do with her singing? But nevertheless all the judges were very emotional that day and if I remember well it was the same Lalit who had told her that "ab ek aur diikat aapke parents ko karna padega, bas aap Bombay aa jaye, aan jaane ka jhanjhat hi khatam ho jayega.." was that not a great support to her? But she is one of those characters who has to mature a lot. I would have given her red card in spite of appeal by her mentor Himesh and supported by Ismail. And what a shame that Joyeeta did not let Anandita complete here final words, who was handling her final words in the most gracious and matured way. To me she was the winner yesterday as she was very gracious in her departure! If this trend continues then each participant who is on brink of elimination should start crying and tell about his miseries! Phew, Zee TV needs to mature a lot!

Overall the judges are not consistent. Yesterday's elimination of Vishwanath was as heart breaking as was for Bhumik. If Shiv-Hari had heard both Vishwanath and Irfan on two consecutive performances and Vishwanath performed consistent, in my opinion he should have been chosen. One bad and one good performance do not sum up so well. Iran is not that great singer and though he sang well yesterday, he is a question mark for future. Similarly Vineet's selection based on the fact that he had a soar throat was as laughable as one would think. We are here to see the performance of participants on a given day! Can you imagine if a cricket player goes back to umpire saying that I was not feeling well today so I should not be given out? Think of that situation in consjunction with Vineet's case! I personally did not find him to be that great as Himesh thinks about him.

But one thing I am not sure now, does it mean that Aadesh has gone out of this show? At least that is what I understand from the article posted above. That will be a terrible thing to happen. This was shaping up very well. Let us hope that the show completes on a grand note.

My Hindi is not that great so if someone can kindly clarify something for me?

I was watching Sa Re Ga Ma and there is one singer who was talking to ths judging while she was crying like anything and the Jatin Lalit said "if we had hurt your feelings, then please forgive us." What did she tell the judges, because I couldn't follow her.

Thanks!

Yes, it was very upsetting to see fine singers like Bhumik and even more Vishwanth (who lost against Irfan... the one who totally made that song from Mere Humdum Mere Dost feelingless) get eliminated. Like I said, people prefer voices for their raddi and club compositions while good singers are only needed for one-time deals for only a half-way created love song which has to be based on Raga Pahadi to sound nice.

She was upset about Jatin-Lait comment on her singing. They said it sounded like kothewali awaz or something like that. She took it otherwise and said that you are like my papa and can say anything to me but this particular comment is really bad.....

The last of the participants from the two gharana participated in this round of saregama. The judges were alka yagnik and jagjit singh.

The first gharana to perform was Himesh Reshmaiya's.
Aiswaraya (who is one of the youngest candidates)- Meri sanson mein basa…. He has strange pronunciation and strange way of singing. I personally did not like his rendetion. Also his singing showed lack of breath….(in the training they showed himesh telling him that he has to perform inspite of his cough).
Piyali -Raat ka nasha abhi from ashoka. She was ok. I think she was a little too cautious and was breaking the song.
Aadesh and jatin lalit did not like aishwaraya's singing. Ismail said that the singers had improved.

Ismail Darbar's gharana
Paresh (the uk guy-can't speak hindi)- Wo ladki jo sabse alag hai. I did not like his singing…hardly any emotion but lot of style.
Vineeta – Mehboob mere mehboob mere- I thought she sang quite well. She has got a powerful voice but faltered in the sur a little. (they showed that ID had given her a diff song but she was not singing properly and ID said that you sing your train wala song- he ridicules people whom he does not like).
Himesh said that he likes paresh's voice and also vineeta's. Though they had not performed very well, he thinks they should be given a chance because they have a bright future. Aadesh felt that the singers should be judged on the basis of their performance on that day.

Jatin Lalit's gharana

Abhijeet- (who is suppose to be the trump card for jl)- sun ri sakhi meri pyari sakhi. He sang quite well..not much instruments in the song…he handled the classical notes bit very well and sang with feeling.

Sanchali- Ae dil ye bata….she sang very well but I thought she had a little restraint but overall a good performance.
The mentors praised both the performances very much. Everybody liked their singing.

Aadesh Srivastava's gharana
Hemachandra- Pehla pehla pyaar hai from hum apke hain kaun….He sang very well….perfect sur, good voice….
Keka- mahi ve from kaante…..she sang well, has a powerful voice.
All the judges praised hemanchandra a lot- jatin lalit felt that he had a very powerful voice..would suit a hero. Keka also surprised them a lot and they felt she was very good.

Hemachandra and Sanchali were given the green card. The judges felt that abhijeet was also very good.
