Many thanks for the updates - Priti is doing such a marvellous job. We saw the contest yesterday where Dilshad and Swananda got green cards.

- Firstly, I was surprised to see the new judges - what a fall from judges of shiv-hari calibre! - there seemed to be little respect for them from mentors. These two have been judges before and have several times goofed up results. Alka and Jagjit both suffer from some syndrome. Incidentally Jagjit had a concert in Sydney yesterday and for the third time - it was a flop - like Ghulam ali sahab - his voice has deserted him. It is not a coincidence that two years back I had the opportunity of listening to him in London, where again - his voice was so bad that - his musicians sang most of the song with him! He should gracefully retire. Anyways - they are my personal views - sorry if some one felt offended. I just felt that the humility of great Shiv-Hari was missing and there was some sense of displeasure among the artists and the mentors at the presence of the mediocre judges.

- Back to the show - Twinkle was the star performer for the night - you could have seen the reaction of Ismail Darbar on the result. Editing of the program was abrupt - which shows tempers must have run high. Dilsahd is a wonderful singer but he gets sympathy votes inadvertantly. There was contradiction in mentors opinion - they want variety - singers should not be typed but for Dilshad they have waived this thinking.


- The yellow card round would be shown next Friday here - please update what happened in that - thanks - One more request please keep you opinion free from any bias - we must exchange transparent and honest views.

i liked dilshad's voice! is he still in? I didnt like Alka as a judge! she is soo mean! 😡

I am eagerly waiting for the Friday's update in India. Who were the two red card awardees? Can some one update on that please?

Thanks Namita for the invitation to join the group - I was pleasantly surprised to see such a wonderful bunch of people there and the simply awesome updates - there seems to be no need of looking for the updates anywhere.

i don't if this has been mentioned before but i didn't think it was fair that bhumik was kicked out, i think he and rajeev were the best and dilshad too the other guy should have been out. anywayz just wanted to say that.

k i agree with u that bhumik shouldn't get out....cuz hes like one of the best in the competition.......but rajeev i think should have.......i mean the man frogot the damn song on stage....he shouldn't have got the second chance.....anyways i felt sad when bhumik got out, specially when he started singing at the end and started crying.....it'll be wicked if he gets another chance

Totally agree. I don't think Alka and Jagjit singh are doing a good job there....what do you guys say? Though Jagjit singh was right in pointing out that they are looking for the singing capabilites and not how the singer copies an old song...

i think Rajiv has a gr8 uniqu voice! Niladri sang very badly the song chod aye hum.... my 1st impression is pretty bad abt him!! he should have gone! bhumik didnt sang that good but wasnt that bad either like Niladri.... i didnt see their 2nd performance though!

the girl from ismail's gharana got selected?? i guess she has gr8 voice too.... but she is over confident!

I hate Alka as a judge & as a person too.... & i dont like her voice too....
jagjit is ok as a judge! togather this 2....... fully faltu!!!!

rajeev or how ever u spell his name, has an awkward voice.....lol out of the three i think that bhumik was the best.......he can sing almost all kinda songz really well...

i didn't like the judges at all. bhumik should have been saved the first time. and then rajeev n dilshad. diladri or watever his name is should be replaced by bhumik i actually started crying when while singing the last song bhumik cried.
