Abhinetri was one of Hema Malini's early movies with Shashi Kapoor. Anubhav was an off-beat movie with Sanjeev Kr and Tanuja. Great movie!

O ghata savari, thodi thodi baavri is another beautiful song. Wow. and the whole picturisation and everything is just so nice.

Speaking of Hema Malini, another of her songs which I like is "Itne din aankhen tarsayegi, ek din toh badal barsegai, aye mere pyaase man, aaj basegi, phir mehekegi khaabon ki mehfil". The picturisation is just Hema Malini wandering around in her house, but the song is very beautiful. Sung by Lata Mangeshkar, for the movie Naya Zamana.

Priyaji...ADji...Punjiniji....what songs yaar!!! mind blowing. Well, I will not be paltering with the truth if I say that ALL of these songs are my absloute favourites!!!! Would you believe I must have watched Mere Mehboob, Padosan and Tere Ghar Key Samney so many times that I know them almost by heart! Each time I see them I find something new to admire, to relish!

I love Mere Mehboob tujhey meri mohobbat ki qasam...but...the BEST song in Mere Mehboob according to me is "Mere Mehboob mein kya nahin..kya nahin..." Sadhna (she looks very cute and beautiful in a rather "big" way but I loooved that song). What is the name of the other heroine.....shyama ? no....I always forget her name and have to see the VCD again to satisfy my uneasiness....but these 2 have danced with a cute abandon describing each other their mehboob! "Bholi surat ada nazneen"....what song!

I just wish Rajinder Kumar would have had some more expressions on his face, but Sadhna compensated for it with her loveliness.

"Mere mehboob tujhe, meri mohabbat ki kasam"... and more so, the second last stanza.. where he expresses his frustrations on having searched for her all through out, yet unable to find her, that day was his last day in the college and he was leaving the next morning for Lucknow and he had no hopes of seeing her thereafter.

Absolutely agree! The two girls dance with gay abandon. The other girl was Amita by the way. I also like the last line "kahin hum dono parvano ki ek hi shamma to nahin?"

Joy Mukherjee was never my favourite. I felt he copied Shammi Kapoor. Yet I like his song "laakhon hai nigaah mein zindagi ki raah mein, sanam haseen kahan" when he goes around with a guitar gaping at every girl to see if she is the one for him.

A similar situation can be seen in Tumsa Nahin Dekha when Shammi Kapoor sings "Jawaanaiya yeh mast mast bin piye"

Kahaa se aaye badra was so touching. Deepti Naval was very endearing and her tears so natural. I will always remember this Megh composition.
