It was a formula film but yet well-made. My opinion, sorry!

Well, I didn't find the picturization out of the ordinary. But of course I love the song.

Waheedaji's first hindi movie song. She looks so innocent 😳 My fav actress...... I have all her movie VCD's.

Oh how could I forget this song from Kala Bazaar. Sitting on the lower berth of a two-tier train, Dev Anand sings "Apni to har aah ik toofan hai, kya kare woh jaan kar anjaan hai, uparwaala jaankar anjaan hai," while a gorgeous Waheeda sitting on the upper berth in confused whether Dev is singing this song for her or whether it is a bhajan addressed to God.

The funny part about this song is that Waheeda's parents watching the whole thing are also confused about Dev's intentions. Whenever they get suspicious that it sounds more like a love song, they frown but the moment Dev closes his eyes as if he is praying to God, they get reassured.

If you haven't watched this song, you've missed something. It's as much a treat for the eyes as the ears.

I was thinking of putting up this song situation but thought let me go through the previous posts first.... Fantastic picturisation.

Then I also liked one from Anubhav. Was it "Koi chupke se aa ke.." OR "Meri jaan mujhe jaa na kaho.." Tanuja is taking a bath and sings to herself. Beautifully picturised. And Tanuja looks gorgeous..

Song from Anand Ashraam

Among well-picturised songs I would also count "Baag mein kali khili bagiya mehki". I was amazed to see Tanuja in a swimming costume in the song and very comfortable in it. She swims about and sings "kyo na aaya kyo na aaya". Really cute. Dharmendra comes in a cycle and blushes at the sight of Tanuja in swimming gear.

That song "Baag mein kali khili" was composed by Salil Choudry, If I am not mistaken, for a Bengali movie, then used in a Malayalam movie and then in Hindi Movie.

jhsurtiji I have not seen Anubhav. Will try to get it. But a similar sequence is in Abhinetri's "O ghata saavarein thodi thodi baawari" which shows Hema Malini doing some workout followed by a nice long bath in a tub and all the while it is raining outside. Shashi Kapoor is taking shelter in the verandah and enjoying the song. 😊
