Yes true. Picturization makes lot of effect. One of my favourite is the song from Guide, where Waheeda Rehamn wants to leave but Dev Aanand stops her and sings the song....

Tere Mere Sapne Ab Ek hi Rang Hai
Jaha Mile Jaye Rahe Hum Sang Hai.

Oh Guide! I love "kaanton se kheech ke yeh aanchal, chod ke bandhan baandhi payal". Waheeda dances and behaves with complete abandon, throwing her slippers somewhere, walking dangerously on a wall and so on. When she starts tipping the camel driver, Dev Anand ducks for cover. It is really a fantastic picturisation. What I found touching was the way he carries her slippers for her. So romantic!! 😳

I can think of 'Tere mere Milan ki' from Abhimaan.

It would be nice to hear your description of the song and why you liked it. 😊 It would make others interested enough to get the video and watch it.

What a fantastic topic. Tks Punjini for posting.

Indeed there are lots of lovely picturisations that come to mind...one of my fav is...Ek Hasina Thi from Karz...the situation, the expressions by Rishi and Simi were "mind blowing" 😆 😆 😆 Seriously though, it was one hell of a song and picturisation.

Yes this song was brilliantly shot. The daring look on Madhubala's face as an absolute treat to watch. Dilip Kumar looks a bit funny though. Prithviraj Kapoor is the best with anger waiting to explode. 😛

Another brilliantly picturised song in my opinion is the first telephone song...in Sujata.

Jalte hain jiske liye....

The absolutely romantic expressions of Sunil Dutt and the teary eyed Nutan, who is devastated as she believes that they cannot be together anymore. Sunil Dutt, blissfully ignorant of this, is pouring his heart out to her, while tears trickle down on Nutan's face....wonderful performance by the both of them ! 👏 👏

Wonderful! I adore Sunil Dutt actually. He had that look of dignity, honesty and strength. Hey you are from Singapore too?

Yes this is a very good one. I like another song picturisation of these two pairs. It's from the Movie Milan. Sunil Dutt singing to make Nutan go to sleep..... Nutan is bereaved as her Husband has passed away. It's....

Ram Kare Aisa Ho Jaye
Meri Nindiya Tohe Mil Jaaye
Main Jaagu Tu So Jaaye
Main Jaagu Tu Sooo Jaaye......

Talking about Sunil Dutt and his histrionics, who can forget the famous song from Padosan...Ek Chatur Naar...

The performance by all the actors in the song - from Kishore to Mehmood, Suni to Saira, and the 3 stooges...were superb. This is one song that I can watch over and over again..and I really have no words to describe the esxpressions of the artistes...I simply love this song and the delightful way it was picturised.
