Vijay Deverakonda’s road trip turns tense after accident near Hyderabad-Bengaluru Highway

Actor Vijay Deverakonda narrowly escaped a road accident on Monday near Jogulamba Gadwal district while returning to Hyderabad from Puttaparthi. The incident took place on National Highway 44, close to the Varasiddhi Vinayaka Cotton Mill.

According to reports, the accident occurred when a truck transporting sheep from Nandikotkur to Pebbair applied sudden brakes. Vijay’s car, unable to stop in time, collided with a Bolero pickup coming from the opposite direction. The impact caused minor damage to his vehicle, but everyone in the car, including the actor, remained safe.

Soon after the accident, Vijay continued his journey to Hyderabad in his friend’s car. Local sources confirmed that there were no injuries reported and no other vehicle occupants were harmed. Police officials have also ruled out any serious damage or casualty.

This incident comes just days after the buzz around Vijay Deverakonda’s alleged engagement with actress Rashmika Mandanna. The couple, who have often been in the spotlight for their close bond, reportedly exchanged rings in a private ceremony at his Hyderabad residence on October 3.

Although neither Vijay nor Rashmika has officially confirmed the engagement, several reports suggest that the ceremony was attended only by close family members. Vijay was also recently spotted at Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s ashram with his family, sparking further curiosity among fans. In some viral photos, a ring was visible on his finger, adding fuel to the rumours.

Rashmika, meanwhile, shared behind-the-scenes glimpses from her upcoming film Thamma on social media but avoided addressing the engagement directly. Despite the ongoing speculation, both actors appear focused on their professional commitments.

While the road mishap left fans momentarily worried, Vijay’s team has confirmed that the actor is perfectly fine and continuing his work schedule as planned
