Let's vote for the right and deserving singer. From the beginning the most consistent and quality singers have been Vinit, Himani and Nihira. Hemchandra is a good singer too and times Superb, but he has not been consistent and he primarily was good in songs composed by AR Rehman. If you watch carefully that's all he sang throughout the show. He is definitely a good singer but unfortunately not been totally consistent. However, he should have definitely been in the top 4 and not Debojit.
Lets not include the mentors in our biases. They all have been sadly miserable and immature when it came to presentation and discussion. Definitely they are the true musical maestro's of our country. But unfortunately they have to learn to be better speakers. Ismail's crazy reaction and the poor way in which he has been talking, Himmesh's excessive hype and letting people know of Vinit's love life and forcing him to wear the stupid cap, and Adesh's comments and indirect insults to other participants was all sick to watch. Why blame a good talented singer for the behavior of their mentors. Sadly the young singers have behaved more appropriately.
Assam is a region which has had many issues around regional separation with the rest of india. It's like having a singer who has come from Kashmir so they have a political agenda along with their support to Debojit. I'm not saying Debojit is terrible, but he is basically average and not exceptional. If you watched the show carefully you would have noticed that the mentors almost never gave the guy a 10. these are the greatest music directors of the country who are crude in talk but definitely talented musicians. They based their votes on Talent. Nihira, HImani and Vinit are the only participants who got 10's by the opponet mentors in almost every show. Not one of them has gotten lower then 9 or maybe 8.
Assams bid to make Debojit the voice has knocked down 3 much better singers and now Vinit Will probably be killed too. Assam will make it's point, but we will be guilty for letting this happen. Our country must start making decisions based on logic not on emotional stupidity. We will never progress if we continue in this way. Why do you think it was so easy for the British to take over india. Our regionalism is our biggest weakness. Hopefully, we will reach a point where a person from the south can support someone from the north, the north the east , the east the west, etc. A muslim a hindu, a hindu a christian, a christian a budhist. Only then we will progress. Let's open our minds and respond logically. If we cant then Srgmp Should go back to the old system. We already have gunda raj in many other aspects of our life do we want it to reflect in every aspect.
I hope people will think about this. Lets support talent because we are all Indians first and foremost. Only then will we progress!!!!! Jai HInd!!!!!

I have to take pity to your knowledge about singing. If you think Hema can only sing songs of Rehman, then you need to listen to all the songs he has sung. He sang "Aao twist kare" with elan. Infact Vinit is the one who has no origanility. All he can sing is Sonu Nigam and Rafi songs. he would qualify as poor mans sonu nigam. He was a disaster when he sang "Bar Bar from lagaan". he is as bad a singer as his mentor. HR commented that it is very difficult for Hariharan, SP and Yesudas to sing songs of Sukhbir. What ignorance - comparing a non-singer like sukbhir to SP,etc. hemas redention of "priyasakhi" was a gem - a song originally sung by Hariharan. None of the contemprary singer like sonu, sukhbri can even attempt that song. Vinit will fall flat if he ever attempts that song. Only Hema could carry it off.

After Nihira, hema was the only singer on SaRegama pa. Others are just uselss. Vinit will be ideal to participate is Under 17 singing competition.
