I just started a new topic regarding new ideas for restructuring Saregamapa for the 2006 Challenge. The link is

It will be interesting to hear some constructive suggestions about which part of the format to retain and which parts to do away with in the 2006 version, so that there is no mud slinging and war of words. Of course, it will be too much to expect completely smooth sailing. Music is such a subjecive topic, but the rules of the game should try to infuse as much objectivity as possible.

Vinit is indeed the best singer!! I feel sorry for him that he just might lose not because he sings badly but more because of his mentor (HR - what is it with this guy!!). Debojit does not deserve to win, even if he was from another corner of India, basically because his singing is pathetic...as for his wife, I am glad that someone took the initiative to groom her..otherwise she was sight for sore eyes 🤢 (literally) especially for someone who claims to be a fashion designer!! u feel debojit is a pathetic singer,before using such words u should think 1000 times.Living in US so probably u have forgotten about the simplicity of life thats y u r commenting on his wifes looks like that.When u go for some exams u dont go with the full makeup.

An anti-climax to an erstwhile a good show. The elimination of Nihira and Himani to begin with made this a male dominated contest which originally started with the elimination of equal numbers of male or female contestants. The discrimination further became a farce with dramatics and as someone said the best were eliminated. Hemchandra was indeed the best to go. Who went yesterday will not matter? Zee TV was not consistent in their promotion of the program, and hopefully 2006 Challenge will have firm rules which should be followed to the end. M

Truely speaking Debojit has good mature voice quality while Vinit sings in immature voice quality which is very very light voice sometimes. 👏

Who ever wins does not make any difference because the best will always be the best and time will tell. I think Debojit is the real winner as he is not only a better singer he is also a very good human being. Vinit is a nice guy, he is talented and has a great voice too but needs to have more maturity in his voice which he will get in a few years. The question about Debujit getting more votes from Assam has grown out of proportion. Vinit too is getting more votes frow his own area. If people think Assam is not in India and vote for Vinit that will be also unfair to Debujit too.
Some guy above made a bad remark on Debujit's wife. Shows what kind of a breeding this guy has. Every body has different tastes in music and have their own choice, but to make personal remarks in bad taste is really low. Saregamapa is just a competition, it is nothing personal. The moderator is right that some guys don't know to behave in these colums. Finally my vote goes to Debujit as the best and a true winner.
