So, Debojit eventually turned out to be the winner with 0.4% votes more than Vinit. Of course, once again it was the West Zone that voted him in. The final that was seen alive belonged to both of these youngsters, and it did not matter at the end who took the trophy and the prize. Vinit at 17 will turn out to be a better singer for he has potential and should concentrate in classical music. It was unfortunate not to see any of these candiates render any classical or semi-classical songs. They sang the same songs that they have been renditioning over the last three weeks and nothing much to go with, except for partiality by one zone.

Yaron ... Debojit jeet gaya ... usey to jeetna hee thaa .. usne logo kaa deel jo jeet chuka thaa .. Vinit bohut achcha singer hae .. lekin badkismatee se usey Reshmaiya jaise mentor mila .. isi wajah se haara ..
God bless Vinit ... Debojit is already blessed (look how calm, composed, smiling and humble he is ... that's the sign of blessedness). Is level per dono hee winner hai .. infact all 12 of them are winners ...

I am really saddened to hear that DEBOJIT has won.Yucks....By rite Vinit should be the winner!!!He lost because of that stupid Himesh Reshammiya!! I just hope that the next challenge this HR person is inot included as a judge or he learns his lesson from this episode. Anyway, Debojit's winning speaks for the Indian voting public's stupidity!!

I think you dont have any idea about singing otherwise you would not have told this about Debojit..he is such a classic singer.

I personally had the same feeling about Deboite when I saw his peroformance in Sa re ga ma pa 2-3 months back in India and I thought htis is is not going to stay in this competition for more than 1-2 episodes. when I again I saw the performance in US after 2-3 months he has lots of improvement in his singing. And since then I am fan of Debojiit..

He has versetality in his singing..he deserve to be a good playback singer.

Finally, he won the final and I think he deserve it.

my best wishes to Debojiit and all Assamese.

And I also salute to all the Assameese who made this possible for Debojiit.
