I do not know what you guys think, but in my opinion every thing was staged. And it is already decided who will the challange. Deshi public go by emotion, so they are caching on it, sas bahu episodes are very famous in india, so they are putting these masalas, so that public will like it. When it comes to internet vote, how much time will it take to write a programme to do vogus voting? their characters are so simple that even a simple character recognition software will do the trick.

They still did not explain their actions. If they are going to rely on public for votes and annouce such a decision on national televsion AFTER a contestant gets highest number of votes, they better have a darn good explanation for why they did what they did. It was a very unsatisfying episode for me. They had the balls to take this decision but then after the hoopla go sit and go on about the show. It's too late, they have already hurt Debojit and Ismail D. It shows arrogance and it's uncalled for this early in their careers. They were pretty much short of telling everyone that Debojit didn't deserve to be #1. Of course AD and Himesh have no qualms with Himani, their pupils made the fuss together and the 2 of them singled out ID. If the reasons for walking was anything but the fact that Debo got the highest # of votes and that his majority votes came from one region, it would've been understandable if explained well. But apparently they have been sleeping through the competition to understand it's basic rules.

You see what is telecasted, is not it?

hi all, 😊 i too agree that more hype is created for vinit for all his stupid and personal reason which we are not very much interested(Please Mr. Himesh stop acting like a u possess vinit like a hell ) the fact that the three walked out is also wrong .. and no question should be posed for the votes that each individual get from diff. states.. it is the rules that was present from the frist. Nihira and Paresh is out which is not correct 😭 . and Let the Mentors (Except ID) learn to not to overreact on any issues... they are mentors (i think they forgot the meaning itself)... Last but not least is Lets face it as competition ... its high time u stop pulic voting and get some good musical talents to judge who can be the next star

You say "BUT… last Qawwali episodes… Certainly it was the other three who should have got higher votes than Debojit. It is not FAIR!! " And we are to assume that this judgement of yours is correct? Earlier you say "I think the judges should decide on who should win the competition not the public who does not know Sa Re Ga Ma Pa". And you do? Are you more knowledgeable than the so-called 'public' in matters of music? Are you a trained musician, are you an accomplished master invited to judge the show? Because, if you are not, then you have NO RIGHT to claim your opinion is the correct one! There are lakhs of people who have voted. Each and every one of them has the RIGHT to decide for themselves who they think is the best. In case you didn't know, this is known as a democratic system.

Your opinion is just that...YOUR OPINION...just one among lakhs, and it would be helpful to everyone if you realized this fact and kept 'fairness', as defined by you, out of the question here.

does Himani actually think that she is better than Nihira? 😆 She can only sing Sunidhi chauhan/ Richa Sharma kind of songs and not as good as them. The day Nihira voted out the whole show lost the standard. What happened last week is the out come of this. These people talk of sur, taal, sarswati maa, maa-baap ke sanskar and behave like this. shame on them!! Last week's episode not only showed how awful human being HR and AS is but also they do not care about music and their studants. Really Really awful. It is good that it happened. It showed the real face of those two to the public who is going to decide the fate.

Hi all,

I agree with most of you regarding the voting system.
I personally think it is not fair that all these contestants have come such a long way, now they will get eliminated because of a rediculous voting system, that allows multiple entries etc. I personally think, that the fate of these contestants should have been decided by the Judges ( judges being people who are music legends).

We all have our favourites, but to be honest with you all, I think that Himani and Nihira were both better than some of the others, so I dont know why they were let go. I just hope that these people (himani, Nihira and others)can one day become the real voice of India.

I hope people one day learn to truly recognize the real singers. I mean Nihira and Himani, both had outstanding performances.. I am sure you guys can recall Himani's performances: Chithiye, Jiya Dhadak, BAGHBAAN, and so many Nihira's performances...

Anyways, in the end I just hope they don't decide the fate these contestant based on the same voting system. As it is not fair that some people will do multiple voting for their favourites, because our little mistakes of multiple voting can kill somebody's CAREER.

A show like sa re ga ma pa always did great service to all music lovers. Over period of time expectations from contestants multiplied and that leads to insecurity among them. The money factors involved due to its commercial appeal can't be ignored either. Overall it appears a do or die situation for all.

But, during this cutthroat competition participants deviated from basic values. They forget it is after all a game show. They can't impose rules but to follow the rules. They have no rights to denigrate the show by throwing tantrums. Walking out of the show probably the most heinous acts happen so far in the history of this musical production. Whatever emotional issues triggered these deplorable acts should be condemned whole-heartedly by all irrespective of regions.

It is a game show and no one is above rules that have been practiced by ages. Please remember life doesn't stop here if you are out of this show, rather by being a sport you can win million hearts and that may eventually land you in some lucrative offers.

One last point I would like to add, for God shake, Gajendra Ji do something. Please have some words with Mr Himesh and ask him NOT to discuss one's love life in a musical show like this. People watch this show for its musical merits not 'cause of its gossip value. God knows what Himesh is trying to prove but this is nothing but distasteful and highly irritating.

digibizman, Fools like you claiming to have brains..... thinking power ??? Moron, on what basis you "THINK" that quazi deserved to be a part of Famejodi ??? Was it based on his singing abilities ??? Was it based on his physique ?? Or was it based on his looks ???

Let me tell ya, Even a crow or a braying donkey like you, could / maybe sound better than him (Quazi). As far as Saregama goes, Its a genuine quality program, which has given us many quality singers, Unlike the gimmickery, dramabazi which was shown in Famegurukul. Saregama is going on for 8+ years now, Had it been "UNPOPULAR" as you claim, It would have stopped long time back.

Gajendra Singh says one of the judges is out to nix Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

Subhash K Jha

The plot thickens. After walk-outs, show-downs, tears and trauma, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge producer-director Gajendra Singh now claims that one of the judges on his show is out to sabotage it.

"I haven't slept for more than forty-eight hours," says an anguished Singh. "My show is is in jeopardy. My show is being reduced to one of those cheap reality-television programmes on the other channels where contestants pretend to faint and then they are revived when water is sprinkled on them. I've been doing the show for more than a decade and have never been visited by this kind of trouble before." Singh reveals that the most recent scandal on the show, namely the threat by three contestants Vinit, Hemachandra and Himani to quit and their effort to malign and discredit Debojit, have been orchestrated by one of the judges.

"It was he (refuses to disclose the identity) who instigated those innocent kids into behaving in this fashion. He couldn't bear to see another judge steal all the limelight by staging a walk-out," he says. "So he decided to be a star-judge in his own right. His conspiracy backfired and my show suffered in terms of credibility. I plan to expose this man who abused the guru-shishya relationship after the finals. At present I need to salvage the show and boost the finalists' morale." In a startling revelation, Singh defends controversial contestant Debojit's alleged ULFA links. "What ULFA links? I agree one of the Sa Re Ga Ma assistants did receive a call from someone claiming to be part of ULFA. But has anyone verified Debojit's connection to the call?," he asks. "Are we hounding him just because he has support from his home- state Assam? Vinit's mother has gone on record accusing this particular judge of dubious intentions. I agree, Himani's elimination from the show was tragic. But the show must go on, and it will."

WHODUNIT?

Ismail Darbar: Stormed out of the sets, on-camera, when his favourite contestant Nihira Joshi was eliminated, only to return to the show later. He stormed out again on the same day, protesting against the alleged partiality displayed by Srivastav and Reshammiya. Darbar alleged that the two gave less marks to his protege Debojit.

Adesh Srivastava: Threatened to quit the show on the grounds of co-judge Ismail Durbar's high-handed behaviour. The two were involved in a verbal dual where neither minced any words.

Himesh Reshammiya: Midway through the contest Reshammiya was awarded a Brahmastra, which enabled him to get two contestants (who've been voted out) back into the show. The two contestants were Paresh and Ujjaini. Reshamiyya also claimed that he had given offers to aspirants, which miffed Jatin-Lalit no end.

Jatin-Lalit: They were peeved by the tall claims Reshamiyya made about giving some of the contestants the much-needed break. They claimed that these so-called offers rarely materialise in the music industry.

* Darbar has been cleared by Singh. So, who do you think it is:
