I don't think it was that great -- I like Amanat's version. I think that Jasraj is very talented (loved his bandish) but his attempts to fuse rock and classical sometimes fall short. I think that this where Shankar Mahadevan and Vishwanath do better. I think that Jasraj is respected by Shankar Mahadevan but Jasraj is a singer songwriter and versatile and that is something to be respected.

Before anyone starts yelling at me for not being Jasraj's fan, I just want to say that he is surely talented and I want him to succeed -- I think that his rock avatar is not as appealing. Sur to me is really important and when is off, it really bugs me. Am I the only one here who notices that he has many besura notes. Also on his low notes, he is weak. But he seems to be a nice guy and I hope he and his band do well from the exposure.

I think he went off sur in a couple of his initial performances but I haven't noticed any slip ups in the last few weeks.

Jasraj should not be allowed to sing any more as he is screaming on same type of songs and not fit for this show.
He is over-hyped for the reasons best known to Judges.
He is besura, rough voice, and destroying soul of the songs.
