I love Ashish too. He can never look bad...crying or not. But come on yaar, he keeps saying "Paththar hoon main" and then does the most non-paththar thing to do. Like I said before, the scene would have been equally good without the tears. For that matter, I would have liked the angry guy pulling her up to him and telling her with all intensity to understand that he is incapable of what she is asking...and then suddenly going all gentle and pleading her not to expect anything from him.

Completely agree with you NB..though I like Ashish as an actor n also respect him, I do agree with you in this front. He is yet to convince me with his emotional scenes. He has time n again proved that he is a good actor, but in crying scenes...ummm...dunno why those scenes look unconvincing to me.

This isnt bashing. I said what I felt.

He was about to tell Paro how for so many years he lived in hatred of his mom and never wanted her to come back in his life but she did and how...ofcourse the phone call interrupted when he was abt to tell abt Tejawat and his mom.

But i respect your opinion if you thought it did not make sense.

And I respect yours. 😊 We all interpret the characters and scenes in our own individual way. The waterworks that began at the mention of his mother did not work for me. I am not a sexist who believes a man should not cry, or the fact that an army man should not cry. Believe me, I have seen a fair share of faujis crying. Goes with the territory.😊 I do hope the creatives realize that all this with ruin the impact of the breakdown when Paro leaves Rudra.

Anyway, we can agree to disagree here.

i see really popular actors of trp topper shows not getting any work in a few years
actors are a part of the whole product
most of the times not so significant , sad but true
i dont think an amazing performance by an actor is noticed or credited so much in the real world unlike movies
it is not fair agreed , but what to do
but story writers , makers there is lots of popularity very good platform
reach is good , should avoid such stereotyping from no where

Agree with you, Pri. The actor is popular as long as the show is on air. Rather, it is the character than the actor. Sad to see those who were the 'chosen ones', sell products on TVC. The women have it better. These men have a shelf life almost similar to the ramp models. No wonder they try their chance at the big screen.

@bold: Completely agree. It is only at IF that actors are given more credit. Before I joined IF, even I did not know the names of most of these actors. The shows do not have those typical credits for names, like they did in DD shows. They are known by their character names, not their actual names.

The whole team deserves the credit for a show. Quite the opposite in movies, actually. The actors takes away all the accolades. Things are improving, though. Hope people show the same appreciation foe the TV shows. The way they are hounded on social media is pathetic. If it is a success, the actors get the credit. If things fail, blame the writers, directors, anyone except the actors.

About the stereotyping, oh well. None do it better than TV shows. Chanced on another show with an army backdrop. They are off on a completely different tangent.
