frankly i dont care so much about acting , for me if the scene conveys the right feel , i am good
i dont really look into whether it is the actor or writer or director
in fact yesterday i liked the dilsher rudra scene , where he tries to hide his arm and disability
dealing with something like that is difficult , but you dont let it come in front of the world
i havnt watched the episode , so cant really say , but from what i gather too much break down scenes not good
nothing about adhish's acting , my issue is with his profession and ST understanding of it

Keep it clean people, no mudslinging, not even if someone tries to spoil the party. Okay?

Yes ma'am and you better not ask the mods to close it, thank god I didn't miss it today! 😛 Your posts contain actual discussion without any hint of overpraising or bashing actors/characters/show, which is a rarity here. As soon as I saw your thread title, I knew exactly what you were talking about lol. I guess it's become that predictable now. I sat through the "drunk" episodes but at this point, the emotional breakdowns are exasperating. Rudra was portrayed as a man's man from the beginning, he was the strong, silent type and that made him stand tall. Now he cries more than Paro. They are messing up his character traits. They should've made Rudra hold back and take everything in silently...while all these events cause his emotions to build up and one day, he explodes and that breakdown would have a major impact. Now it's like...I know I should be sympathazing with him but am I a horrible person for getting annoyed and wanting him to move on already. OTT is the perfect way to describe it.

Just like you find ppl with normal upbringing and childhood in the regular population and some too scarred by their life's experiences ...similar percentage is there in army men also. Being in the army doesn't mean that you become immune to your emotions..in fact i would say sometimes its the opposite ...that tough life makes them even more vulnerable in their day to day life.

i have an army back ground
my issue is with ST understanding of army people
he chose this profession because he wanted a less EQ guy how nice
this is a common factor all through out hindi films , low IQ low EQ
i say BS , ST

Ashish is a brilliant actor, but crying is NOT his forte. As for Rudra, I appreciate a guy who is in touch with his emotional side but not to this extent. He is 28 years old and an army officer for goodness sake!

Born in an MH, and so were the kiddos. As close as you can get. 😊

Yes, armymen are normal human beings too, and they too have emotions. Exactly the reason why I took a strong dislike to ST's comment that armymen have low EQ. My issue is the way Rudra's character has been morphed into. A shrewd man who could pick on the smallest signal. Shaatir dimaag if you will. Something that works in spurts now.

Coming to the play of emotions, I had no issues with the first 'mirror scene' breakdown or the one where he found out about his mom being Tejawat's wife. Today's breakdown did not make any sense. Its not the first time he spoke about his mom. Do we come to expect that each time he talks of his mom, there is going to be a breakdown? Too much of something is an overkill.

Same here. Neither a fan of Ashish or Sanaya. In fact, don't believe in the whole 'fan' thing.

ST has a very twisted view of what the army, and armymen are all about. Its not just the uniform. it is much more than that.

I agree. The crying scenes and his constant breakdowns just makes me thankful I'm watching online as it means I can skip ahead. I had to today as I really can't stand watching this character cry anymore. As for the actors, I will refrain from commenting as this forum feels like a war zone 🤬
