Why is RangRasiya not working- from TRP perspective?? - Page 7

Initially when RR started and the story had began it was only Paro. The story revolved around Paro, her village, Mamisa, Thakur, her marriage. Even when Rudra brought her to his house he was caring for her, protecting her. Everything was Paro, paro and paro. It is Female oriented story... Then the marriage rituals her realization of truth of life that Thakur was wrong. Her realization of Childhood Love.

Then comes our Hero (Rudra Banna), he was just to give her everything she needed, like her dream man. But in the journey his image, his dream were shattered. His few power pack performance and action has brought him into lime light. He lived with unfortunate past and sorrows only to wipe alone.

We in forum have forgotten the initial days when it was Paro all around ( with Rudra). Then how do we say it is a Male lead Story? Only because he is expressed his feelings so beautifully. We cannot crucify someone. Please don't do this to Rudra.

I do not understand TRP. I just love RR... because of Ashish. watch RR on Net.. Can't watch on TV slot because of timings ,, does it make a difference ?

Jaz any consolation i doubt it They have invested way too much financially and otherwise and its early days and I think Colors is not as ruthless as SP so probably a year which is a good expiration date for love stories

RR is a lovely show...and I believe it's way better than most other shows.( I am saying most because I don't keep tabs on all shows) and it's the only show that has me hooked.

The concept, story, cinematography, production values and actors...all are fantastic.

But sometimes it does feel like there isn't enough of Paro. I love the character, I understand her and I can guess her thoughts and feelings...but it's not always shown on screen.

There is a definite lack of exploration and explanation of her feelings. Whereas, Rudra's thoughts are always spelt out clearly.

I have no complains with Rudra's character, I like him dark and complex, but dark should be balanced out with white and white part of the show is Paro. The white part lacks space.

While, I am completely against changing storylines and characterizations owing to TRP demands, slight changes can be made in the way the story is told without altering the original concept and characters.

There aren't enough promos.

When Paro's confession promo aired, the ratings went up slightly despite the T20 World cup. It was a positive promo and it made people excited enough to watch even during the matches.

The wedding promo, although intriguing, was shocking and depressing. People watched the wedding episode and maybe changed the channel after that thinking it's a hate marriage...the next few episodes will be sad and gloomy...just like it happens in every other show with hate marriage tracks. We will come back later when things get better between Paro and Rudra.

The whole purpose of putting a pause to Tejawat's track and focusing on Parud's track was because it was the demand of viewers. The TRP audience also want to see the love track. But wedding promo was negative and it wasn't followed by a positive promo.

The post wedding episodes have been good. There SHOULD have been a PROMO right after the wedding promo showing the light moments between Parud.

Personally I don't worry much about the TRPs anymore, because it's not an accurate measure of the viewership and how good/bad a show is. But since it is counted, I feel happy when the ratings go up. 😳

PS: It's a slight dip in TRP and fluctuations happen for various reason. It might go up again next week.

PPS: RR topped the UK ratings again. I love the UK viewers. 😳

I see people discussing whether the show might shut down...I am not worried about show closure at all. It may not have the best ratings in India but it has steady ratings and it is doing great overseas and with the online fan bases. So I don't think we have anything to worry about.

Totally agree with you dear. ..one more point I want to raise that paro misunderstood rudra for kiiling her husband and I think cvs drag this track unnecessarily. .I think this is the biggest reason for low trp.

max we might have a slot change from 9 30 to may be later , wrapping up the show , dont think so

it is a fairly new project and popular oversees also no chance of shutting it down lets see

i dont think anyone is writing off RR we are just speculating the reasons for the TRP and the lack of increase in all these months Flip side there is a niche audience so the TRP's never plummet dangerously The dip is mostly negligent and unnoticeable except by us lot😆

Please tell me what is a good TRP and how one serial reaches there... is it on viewership the Rank is No. 1 then what else is expected.

never saw that show but heard it from someone who was a fan of it that it went off because of Big Boss and probably Colors wanted a more competitive show to the SP time slots ergo RR but all this is too early for any speculation ST and the PH and the channel are not going to jump the gun so let us just cut some slack for ourselves and watch 😃
