What do we expect from Paro she is who she is her character is not complicated like Rudra what more else do we need to know about her. If your argument is you don't get her because she is not like you or anyone you know that is one thing but i am baffled if people think they don't understand her motivations. The problem is not the focus the question what is there to explore, Paro is a clear water stream we have seen it all and Rudra is bottomless well. So just giving Paro more screen space, more monologues, more flashbacks isn't going to make no difference to me because I have seen all she has to offer. Rudra is way more complex infact it is him I don't get why he does what he does that is why he is more focal point of the show, it is like gravity pull towards the unknown where Paro is a known quantity. The show is competing against well established shows in this time slot. I don't want to compare but I personally rather watch RR than the other shows and I do. Yes the sad truth is majority of Indian audience like saas bahu types look at all top shows, look at what happened to JA, here is where RR is different why would I complain. I personally hate that over glorification of females as if they are some goddess can do no wrong and all the crap gets dumped on males. RR is not like that it is very fascinating considering the darkness of Rudra character they don't over glorify Paro he doesn't get dumped on he holds his own and he has his own story. All the top shows are like this i simply don't get it because it is against my taste to watch a woman cry all day the male leads don't even exist. So in conclusion RR is awesome please writers just stick to your story don't listen to us whining lolzzz because we don't know what we are talking about this is your story your conviction just be true to it doesn't matter how long it lasts well it does to you I hope it lasts long for your sakes but for however long it is the story you wanted to tell and we can enjoy the ride don't bow down to audience pressure because this is not our story.

But isn't that the exact problem? I mean, where did the intensity of Rudra go? He's singing songs for Paro.

This is my problem. The writers aren't sticking to the story. I can see they are trying too hard for TRPs. Just look at the drama graph for a week, and it's very easy to explore. The Mahaepis and the high drama point is aimed on a Wednesday and on a day, when no OTHER show is trying to pull off a drama stunt. Viewers demanded lightness, so one day after the hate wedding, there's comedy.

As for Paro not being glorified, cool, humane characters. An excellent point. BUT she's also not showing the conventional reactions that any average girls would- irrespective of where they hail from, I'm not talking about you and me.

The conviction is missing because they ARE trying to bring the numbers up. Visible in the contrived romance situations. I would love to have a show that doesn't give me what I demand, but it should be done convincingly. Remember, the writers are trying to sell me something I don't agree with. There have to be strong counter-arguments to situations, for me to enjoy this race of "I don't get what I want", with, "I see why you showed me that".

If ST is indeed reading this: have you ever seen a more loyal fanbase than this? Also, I KNOW what I'm saying. Sachchi 😆

some adjustments r bound to happen owing to the changing dynamics.. but NOT beyond a certain point,, i am working for myself n my manager is working for himself,, ok my ultimate objective shd be to contribute towards the organisation first but not at the cost of my job,,
i hav said this earlier too ,, this isnt about ONLY money,, there shd be some creative satisfaction too,,
may be i am wrongly mixing my profession with that of acting,, but at the end of a day,, evn an actor is a human,, 🤔

So what do you suggest she does? Break a contract and leave the unit in the middle of nowhere? Do you know how unprofessional it is to break a contract like that?

I dont know why the forum romanticises the notion of doing nothing & staying at home. Not everyone has the luxury of someone else paying their bills- especially in the Tv industry where the income is not a lot.

I agree SJ, SI should ask the director for a better character sketch because I feel that I cannot relate to her with her portrayal of Paro, but I also did not relate to her OTT Khushi character and eventually stopped watching that show.
As for Rudra's character, I do not mind seeing a show from the male perspective but his many emotional breakdowns are just a little too much to handle. His frequent mood swings is starting to make him look like a woman with non-stop PMS.😆

The show leaders need to decide who is their target audience and then stick to that demographic and actively market and promote to that demographic. I think they are trying to be all things to all people and it's leaving the audience confused, which is reflected in the dropping TRPs.
