Yesterday - Part II

Ok I know I should have been more interested in the Rudra part of this but that darn JK character has me totally absorbed. He is a master piece. He is what arrogant, conceited, self- absorbed, down right unconscionable means. A true psychopath. I am intrigued beyond measure. I will update more later. I need to re-read this. I am just stunned that this character and the way his mind works. I said it before in a previous post but it bears writing again, the man is a true serial killer.

Napster Di, you quite literally sent a shiver up my spine with what you wrote on Jasheem. May I ask how you came up with the name? For some reason, I can't think of a single other name that would be better suited to him- the name itself screams terror, for me at least. It's just so ominous- Jashemem Khan. For me, in this part- Rudra was not the star. Jasheem was.

That speaks to how well you write, because you've turned a figment of your imagination into someone who sends terror through the hearts of all your readers- he's incredibly convincing. All I can think when I read about him is that line by Gabbar Singh in Sholay- This one: "jab bachcha raat ko rota hai to maa kahti hai, beta soja ..soja nahi to gabbar singh aa jaayega"

I really, really liked the way you described his reaction to Parvati- his confusion and his anger at the fact that she didn't react like a normal prisoner. This line was my favorite- "Her odd questions to him, just before she was about to be killed. That quiet, simple courage. It was just not DONE, really. She should have known better."

For me, that line really illustrated his mentality. His fury, his confusion- everything was put into those few lines. I think I'm running out of praise for you. I'll have to pull some out of the deep recesses of my brain if you keep writing like this.

Oh my God. I don't know if my heart can take this! And I'm only 25!!
Excellent episode! I'm kinda dreading what the "sin" is...ughh. Maybe you can update the Tomorrow portion instead? A different feel from all the darkness in this part?

Thanks for the update!

You have delivered brilliantly. After the unbearable despair and disgust of the previous pieces you have taken us back to the narrative.I really enjoyed the insight into Amans mind seeing Rudra through his perspective.Aman is obviously the reader he represents the decency of us all his thoughts mirroring ours.Very clever perspective whilst keeping Rudras thought a mystery to us maybe for maximum impact for the next piece. No doubt Rudra is burning in his own fire of guilt and shame but at the moment he can only survive if he puts his duty first and his mind focused on that.I am glad that you also acknowledged the callousness of the BSD brass in their attitude towards Paro. She is secondary,a mere after thought, what matters to them is the unveiling of the traitor Jamsheem. And here you have excelled yourself. What a character.Apsychopath in the true meaning of the word and you have tried to live him.The clinical way you gave described his thoughts and his intentions show that you have an insight into this type of person. We mere mortals would shudder at such a man but you gave dissected him and then displayed his carcass for us to unwillingly peer at.His utter disregard for any emotion but controlled violence is what signals him out. This man can never repent because there is no remorse or guilt.I think he will stay with us for a long time lurking in our depths and when we hear of another terrorist attrocity we will know how certain people can behave in such an inhuman way.
Rudra is churning,I feel it in his repressed emotions and am eagerly awaiting the next part so we can finally feel his release.
You are beyond praise at the moment. My interest in the forum is largely due to your posts.Thank you.

Just read all of them

You're truly amazing, so talented and creative

Love the way you've written these OSs as "Yesterday" & "Tomorrow"

Just reading about their pain and now their life was so heart wrenching yet so beautiful

It was worth waiting for your update. It was completely Aman and Jashmeen khan. It was an insight into how the mind of people like khan's work and how there is nothing greater for them or above themselves.
Aman in comparison is a total contrast to him. The proverbial good v/s the evil. Where Aman repents for not having done enough for paro, khan regrets losing control while torturing her. While Aman considersParo as his sister who is not related to him in any way, Khan is not above thinking of sacrificing his own family for his selfishness.

Waiting for the next update.
