Paro breaks down at the sight of the bangles ... Sanaya in emotional scenes reminds me every time why I became a fan of this actress in the first place. She makes you feel her pain like no one else does.
But I wish they would get a better match of voice for the songs.

Rudra banna hears the song and loses it ... comes storming up and tells her not to sing it again. And then goes down and breaks down, because it's what his mother used to sing to him.

Thakurain remembers her son, looks at his picture and breaks down ... hides the pic from the Thakur, but doesn't hide her tears and her upset. And I am again puzzled at the Thakurain's story ... she seems to love the Thakur, and her son both ... but does the Thakur even know she has a son?

Next morning, Danveer gives the Thakurain's kada to Paro ... Paro smiles at the butterfly ... and recognises the kada, but not where she has seen it earlier. So another loop opens up ... when will they close this one?

Rudra and Mohini's tashan continues ... with Paro their unwilling reluctant pawn. Rudra's possessiveness is coming more and more to the fore ... he seems uncomfortable and restless if Paro is out of his sight for too long. Of course, it's because there are so many people around, what if someone sees her face ... or so he must be telling himself.
Mohini is all set to show Paro's face to as many people as she possibly can, in the hope that someone recognises her. Rudra puts paid to all her plans ... including an almost public war of words with Paro under the dupatta. Paro doesn't give an inch, does she ... he has to fight her all the way!
Sanaya looked so utterly gorgeous under the pink dupatta .. this girl gets more and more beautiful every day! Including those beautiful eyes spitting fire at Rudra ...

But Mohini is not giving up so easily, the next is a jhaanki, parading Paro through the village ... what a weird custom!
But will she succeed this time?

An okay-ish episode ... I feel the scenes of Rudra breaking down are coming too often, they are losing their impact. On the other hand, Paro's tears are shown much less, and they are much more powerful ... the first scene with Paro's tears was deeply moving, and Sanaya is unsurpassed in her emotional scenes. I wish the makers had put in some flashbacks of her with the Thakurain as well, to complete the picture that Rudra's loss was Paro's gain. When they switched to Rudra's breakdown, I was disappointed, I wanted to see more of Paro's pain.
And they need a different voice for Paro! The girl who sang for Gunjan in MJHT was much better, her voice matched Sanaya's beautifully. The earthy voice does not match Sanaya's speaking tone.

The Thakurain's story gets more complex ... it seems she really did leave her husband for the love of another man, and nothing more noble than that ... she seems to genuinely love him, and he her .. yet she hides the fact that she went to meet her son, and hides his picture. Does the Thakur even know she has a son?

Rudra seems to be losing focus between his skirmish with his KCM and his need to keep Paro hidden ... the one cannot go along with the other. But then he needed the four days to break Paro's silence, which so far he hasn't succeeded in doing ... on the contrary, he only succeeded in putting her back up further and making her even more determined not to bend. With every day, her fear of him seems to be diminishing.

I have to say this again ... Sanaya under the pink dupatta, with the gorgeous lehnga and jewelry, was simply stunning! Her eye make up has been darkened for the wedding episodes, and her eyes look amazingly beautiful!!!

Not very happy with the episode due to the same reasons.. anyway agree with the analysis di.

and aahh i hate that voice they use for her!! oh bring on the 'Ye zindagi khole bahe kadi, Hawaa yu chali, dil kahe tu bhi zaraa sath aa' voice please!!! its been ages i heard it! would lvoe to have it back for her! It was just perfect for Sanaya! ❤️

Ok i think am going to watch MJHT few episodes now i feel nostalgic! what an uncomplicated thing it was sigh.. feel i need a dose of that today! 😳

Agree with you about the Rudra breaking down scenes. I hope this is the last one till he meets his mom. I too would like to see more of Paro's emotions.
Yes, they need a singer who's voice matches Sanaya's. Right now it is too Ila Arun ish.

And Sanaya was GORGEOUS, even though I did'nt much care for her lehenga and blouse.

Awesome take Diya and my evaluation of today's episode is the same. While I was glad the creatives showed the emotions of Paro today, I wish they had given her some flashbacks and lingered a bit longer on her. If this battle of survival is tough on Rudra it is equally painful for Paro and lens should be focused on both. She is undergoing what she believes is worse than death, betraying her body and soul, to protect her loved ones. Glad they at least showed her hurt at being forced to wear red bangles and a dialogue that she remembers her happier times. Sanaya is absolutely marvellous in emotional scenes.

Agree about the singer's voice, it does not match Sanaya's speaking voice at all.

Rudra is again agitated by the song his mother used to sing for him. Ashish by now is a pro in these scenes. We also saw the obsessive nature of Rudra and though it can be understood as his need to protect his witness today, will this streak continue when this case is taken care of? After all Rudra's character has been inspired by Othello.

Always love Paro's defiant stance, she maybe caving in but will make it tough for Rudra and will never stop letting him know his wrongdoings. Sanaya was looking absolutely gorgeous and what expressive and beautiful eyes she has.

Mohini continues her shenanigans and Thakurayan continues to puzzle. Now Laila will be added to the mix. Phew!

Yep, he broke down when he saw his men dead, then when he saw that man's mother, then when he saw the doll ... this guy is supposed to be an animal, and he's a complete softy! 😆

I want to see more of Paro's emotions because Sanaya has this amazing ability to connect with her audience, especially in her emotional scenes ... the first scene ended far too quickly for my liking ... so much so that I was actually feeling impatient with Rudra's breakdown. That is not what the makers would want to happen. Plus his tears seemed too much ... he had heard Paro sing the song once before already ... so why the extreme reaction this time? It would have been better if they just showed his flashback, without the sobbing.

Sanaya's lehnga is supposed to be some traditional work, Ashish was explaining it on one of the offscreen segments. Very heavy work, all in zari, it forms a net over the main lehnga. I have seen it on a recent trip to Rajasthan, it is actually beautiful .

Gosh Diya I had to break away from my work am just recovering from a very bad migraine ergo my lack of activity in the forum and stumbled across your insightful post
I so agree about his breakdown They really need to tone it down I am a fan of Method Acting but alas I started to count 123 to his breakdown Ashish you are doing a fab job but sometimes you get too clinical and it shows When you can make me cry it means you have forgotten to act but gave into your emotions which alas none of your breakdowns have done SI (as does Maithili) does that and while others may complain about her lack of RQ although it be ironic asking her to cover up as it may offend TV Family viewers and then dissing her lack of romantic overtures to Rudra err which I think is more potent for family viewing Imagine a female reciprocating passion and lust what has the world come to Aiyo Reminds me of another forum where they were vicariously living the role of the female protagonist and got annoyed that she did not behave according to their fantasy script anyway am digressing and I agree they need a voice that matches SI soft modulation here The one blip on the radar

Nice take diya ...for me it was a buildup episode to something big which will happen tomorrow / next week ...
Liked the way the episode started with paro looking at the bangles and then singing the song ...then ofcourse rudra's entry and the breakdown.

Paro is the one getting the clues on thakuriyan being rudra's mother ...first was the puzzled look when she saw his reaction to the song , then when she looks at the butterfly - bangle. Get a feeling , she will connect the dots before rudra finds it out himself 😲

Then ofcourse the kakisa - rudra ping pong fight giving us some sweet scenes , fun of it got slightly robbed as I had seen them on sbs already ...tmrw it looks that due to the trip/ fall sequence ...her face will be uncovered and be visble to all including thakur's men ..

The scene of thakur and his mrs ...whatever may be his faults , he loves his wife . Sadia's dialogue again felt flat today ...would love to understand her reasons for leaving her husband and child behind ...i do think she loves the sexy thakur ..

Looking forward to tmrw's episode which unfortunately I will only see on sat morning as have to go for a wedding tmrw 😕

Yup, forgot to mention in my post Paro does seem to be connecting the dots sooner than Rudra and Thakur does love his wife. Interesting possibilities ahead and hope spoilers just don't mess things up. Enjoy the wedding G.

Great post Diya! I liked the episode as Sanaya was outstanding as Paro. I agree with the singing voice given for Paro. I hope she gets the sweeter one that Gunjan had. It made me believe that Gunjan was a singer.
