Part 59

Tring….. tring…..

School bell rings, after some time kids are left out of their classes, boys run to the gate, as though they were left for race, girls chat and walk slowly, boys tease them, girls doesn't care, they are lost in their own world…. Their comes a guy, running, as he knows well that his mom and dad were coming to get him, he will be seeing them back after a long week, he did feel lonely, but Khandelwal's did keep him busy so that he won't be reminded of his parents, there he sees his father, but his mom is missing though….

Aayush: Papa!!! (runs to Shaan)

Shaan picks him up,

Shaan: hey aayush!! How are you doing???

Aayush: im fine!! How r u?? where's mom?? (searches around)

Shaan: voh actually aapki mom nahi aa payi!! (softly)

Aayush: may be she's tired!! (sad)

Shaan: toh ghar chalein???

Aayush nods, and Shaan leaves him down, but takes his school bag in his hands, and Shaan's other hand holds Aayush's hand…Both of them walk to the car, Shaan hides his smile from Aayush, Aayush is upset that, his mom couldn't make it, to pick him up….

They've reached to the car, Shaan leaves Aayush's hand, Aayush slowly moves to his side, to get in, he opens the door, Shaan has followed Aayush to his side, Shaan waits, Aayush is shocked and surprised…his mom is sitting there waiting for him…

Aayush: mom!!! (eyes lit up seeing her, Shaan smiles, Aayush hugs her, she hugs him back)

Khanak: aapko kya laga, main aapko lene nahi aaongi!!

Aayush: I missed you mom!! (still in the embrace)

Khanak slowly moves out of the hug….

Khanak: (cups his face) I missed you a lot too…. (hugs back)

Shaan just watches them, his smile is hard to erase….

Shaan: Abb ghar chalein…ghar par sab wait kar rahe hain!! (as they had come directly from airport to pick Aayush) Aayush neatly jumps on to his mom's lap, Khanak is wearing a red saree, she's happy too, makes him comfortable on her lap, Shaan closes the door for them, takes his seat and raises the car's engine, they move towards their house…

In the car, conversation is all done by Aayush, gushing about what he did in the last week, Shaan and Khanak patiently listens to him…

They had reached Khandelwal's mansion, in no time, they were welcomed by the whole Khandelwal clan, now they are seated in the living hall, Aayush is gone to change his clothes….

Akshay: So how was the honeymoon!!! (Shaan is seated next to Akshay, Khanak is seated next to dadi, Shaan and Khanak are seated opposite) (Akshay nudges Shaan, while asking him)

Shaan: Much like adventure trip!! (shakes his head, Khanak glares at him)

Khushboo: kyun shaan?? Khanak ne kuch kiya kya?? (teasing)

Khanak: nahi bhabhi!!

Shaan is about tell something…. Aayush comes running from the stairs, Khanak is horrified everytime Aayush takes stairs….

Khanak: Aayush, how many times to tell you to take the stairs slow???

Dadi: Khanak beta bachcha hain!!

Madhvi: haan Khanak!! Achcha tumhe pata hain, Aayush ne art classes join karli hain…(proud)

Sunil: arrey haan beta, tumne kabhi tumne bataya hi nahi ki Aayush itna achcha paint karta hain…

Khanak: (surprised indeed) painting?? (looks at Aayush)

Shaan is surprised too…

Akshay: kyun?? Tumhe pata nahi tha??

Khanak: no!!

Aayush: mom, chalo na, mujhe aapko kuch dikhana hain… papa aap bhi!!! (doesn't allow her to stop

him, pulls her, even Shaan is pulled by Aayush…Whole Khandelwal clan smiles at the scene…

Aayush take them to his room, shows his new accessories brought by his Akshay uncle….

Khanak excuses herself to get some food to Aayush, till then Shaan and Aayush chat…

Aayush receives his gift from his papa, Aayush is happy, all the members do get their gift…

At night, she gets back to their room, she had made Aayush to sleep, now she's back to her hubby…

But he's not there, and even the room is dark, she steps in slowly…

Khanak: Shaan… are you there??

She's pulled by her husband, initially she's shocked, when she founds its her husband, she cools down, his arms around her waiste, he's grinning, his forehead touching hers, her arms crawls up his arm…(he's in his vest and track pants)

Khanak: why is the room dark??

Shaan: because I wanted it to be…

In no time, his lips claim on hers, she moans in his mouth, he kisses her fully, his hold tightens on her waiste, her arms wound around his neck, they both are close enough….

After sometime, they both are still standing, she's resting her head on his chest, he;s holding her…

Shaan: Aayush slept??

Khanak: yes!! (eyes closed)

Shaan: are you busy from tomorrow?? (softly)

Khanak: I think so!! (giggles)

Shaan gently extricates her from him, looks at her….

Shaan: studying with Raj??

Khanak: haan!! First I have to get hold of him… (planning)

Shaan: aaj toh free hain na aap???

Khanak: hmm… sochna padega..(starts acting like as though she's thinking)

Shaan: achcha… (his eyes do tell what he wants)

Khanak: Shaan abhi nahi, I've to change… (moving away)

Shaan: when you know what's going to happen, what's the use of changing?? (get holds of her left hand)

Khanak: Shaan, bus do minute, I'll just call Raj….

Shaan: subah kar lena!! (kisses her once again, her resistance goes in vain)

Picks her up and takes her to the bed…

Morning is a rush, she's made Aayush to get to bath, now its hubby's time, she's ready, she's wearing a lavender colour chudidhar, her mangalsootr hanging around her neck, her sindoor and a small peck of bindhi on her forehead, her dupataa is placed on one shoulder, she's looking fresh, beautiful even in her simple attire…

She knows he's awake, she maintains a distance, as she knows, if she goes near to him, she'll be landing on the bed…

Khanak: Shaan please utho!!!

Still he lays on his belly, his right hand falling from the bed, left is stretched on bed, he has his clothes on…

Khanak: Shaan!!! (he opens his eyes little, so that he knows whether she's standing next to him or not…

She's standing 3 feet away from the bed, but directly opposite to him)

Khanak: Shaan, c'mon get up, do you remember that, you are supposed to go to hospital today…

Shaan: really?? (eyes closed)

Khanak: Shaan, I've to leave Aayush, get my books from my flat, meet that dork…

Shaan: (lifts his head) dork??? Oh! You mean Raj…

Khanak: haaye!! Kitne smart ho!! Abhi utho…

Shaan: Khanak, you don't even know how to wake your hubby?? (he now sits on the bed)

Khanak: matlab??

Shaan: jab main tumhe utatha tha, toh kitne pyaar se utatha tha, tumhe dekho, your standing so far…

Khanak: nice try, Shaantanu Khandelwal, abb hum honeymoon se aa chuke hain, (unknowingly moves towards the bed) abhi utho…

Shaan: (he did watch her getting closer, he just waits for his chance, he gets it, he pulls her, she lands on his lap…her speech is lost, when she finds him closer) toh kya hua agar hum honeymoon se agaye hain toh, but we are still newly weds!! (husky)

His eyes focuses on her lips, her dupatta has fallen to the ground, she's lost in his eyes, her breathing ragged, his hands roam around her back, she closes her eyes, losing herself to the love of her life…

Knock…knock…
