They come back to their world, Shaan is irritated, Khanak calms herself down, picks her dupatta, opens th door, its Madhvi…Khanak smiles, and lets her in, room is neat, except fot the bed, sun rays are peeping in to the room, as she had pulled out of the curtains, Shaan has gone to freshen up…

Madhvi: Khanak beta, aaj main aur Sunil, Aayush ko chod denge, voh hum eek friend se milne jaana hain, aur dadi bhi hamare saath chal rahi hain….

Khanak: oh!! No problem!!

Madhvi: Are you going to the hospital too??

Khanak: yes mom!! Raj bhi waha par hi aa raha hain..

Madhvi: teek hain beta!! And don't worry hum Aayush ko pick kar lenge…

Khanak: Thanks mom!!

Mahdvi: kohi baat nahi beta, just concentrate on your exams, kab hain exam??

Khanak: exactly 1 month!!

Madhvi: teek hain beta!! (saying that she leaves)

Shaan is showered, he's drying his hair, his phone rings, it seems to be important, he picks his clothes, she lets herself out to get him breakfast, Aayush is left with his dada and dadi, not before getting his morning kiss and hug from his mom!!

Shaan comes to dining table, to have his breakfast; he seems to be in a hurry…

Shaan: Khanak jaldi karo, I've to go meet people…

Khanak: ok!! (she serves him, he gorges it up in hurry)

Khanak: you are going to the hospital, right??

Shaan: No!! actually I've to meet a couple of people, after that, I'll be going to hospital..

Khanak: toh phir teek hain, main Raj ko bhuladoongi, ki voh mujhe pick up kare aur hospital drop karde… (sits down)

Shaan: (stops eating) hospital??

Khanak: haan voh mujhe library jana tha…

Shaan: toh teek hain na, main tumhe chod doonga…(she just looks at him, he just eats and suddenly he brings a piece of bread in front of her mouth, she's shocked, then takes it from him)

They both leave the house together, he dropped her at hospital, she opens the car door to get down, he pulls her hand, she looks at him startled, he kisses her on her cheek, she blushes, and moves out of the car, he smiles at her… He pulls his car out of the hospital…

Khanak reaches the pediatric department, meets Dr. Lata first, gets some advice from her and also submits her 3 year thesis, on which she had worked a lot..if it goes very well, even her thesis would be published, if the seniors find that's convincing…

She slowly steps into a room, Raj is sitting with books, she goes behind him and slowly….

Khanak: hey!!! (shouts in his ear, Raj is startled, Khanak laughs openly)

Raj: oye!!! (shuts his ear) kya kar rahi hain!! (She takes the seat in front of him, looks at the papers in front of him)

Khanak: what's this??

Raj: A patient's history, u know last week ek patient ki brain mein clot ho gaya tha…

Khanak: a child??

Raj: aur nahi toh kya Khanak!! Main bhi pediatrics department main hi hun, agar tum bhul gayi ho toh..

Khanak: shut up Raj!! Toh he/she got operated??

Raj: oh yes!! and it was a he!! A new neurosurgeon is joined to the hospital…

Khanak: hmm… (looks into the history)

Raj: sun rahi hain kya?? (nudges her) and where's Shaan??

Khanak: haan sun rahi hun Raj!! And Shaan is out to meet some people…Raj have you made notes??

Raj: yes!! yeh le (hands her some huge pile of papers) and listen I want these back tomorrow…

Khanak: Are you serious?? Itne saare???

Raj: Madam, we are writing exam for 1000marks!! Its not 100, its 1000!! (stretches on thousand)

Khanak: I know Raj!! Lekin yeh sab….i feel like iss saal toh main gayi, 6 months back, pakka!!! (upset)

Raj: pagal ki tarah baatein mat kar, you can do it, start from today, (gets closer, and speaks into her ear) voh jot era husband hain na, usse door reh na, tab tum pass hojaogi!! (laughing under his breath)

Khanak smacks him on his arm..

Khanak: Thanks for the advice Dr. Raj… But, no thanks…

Raj: oh ho… pyaar itna badgaya hain ki, abb door jane ka mann nahi hain…(teases)

Khanak: Raj!! (yells) can you be serious now atleast???

Raj: ok!! Achcha chal voh clot wali case batata hun, u know for that even cardio thoracic surgeon was included…

Khanak: did you get a chance to scrub in???

Raj: you bet!! (winks) I got…

Khanak: (shocked) but you were on a holiday right???

Raj: yeah!! But I just got the chance to be a viewer, not a doer…

Khanak: then that's fine!! (smiles broadly)

Raj: dost hai ya dushman?? (shouts)

Khanak: dost hun, iss liye nah chahthi thi, ki tumhe voh opportunity mujhse pehle mile…

Raj: you don't have any idea, how much I hate you!!!

Khanak: same here!! Abb kuch help karega ya aise hi mera buraai karta rahega…

They sit for a serious study session, they go on….

Shaan is back to the hospital, he's happy like as though he's achieved something great, but he's summoned to meet Dr. Lata, he enters her cabin, he's happy there to, he was interested in oncology, Lata gives him a girl patient, who is suffering from Lung cancer, he promises her that, he'll handle it with the oncologist!!

He just wants to meet Khanak, he knows that she's in the hospital….But suddenly he was summoned to OT, one of his patients had started bleeding internally, he had to look after this….

Raj and Khanak are arguing over some stuff, Dhruv enters…Khanak looks at him for a moment confused, what to do or say, but then smiles at him…

Khanak: hey Dhruv!!

Dhruv: Hey!! (softly) how are you doing?? When did you return??

Khanak: im fine!! I came back yesterday!!

Raj: haan, madam apne zindagi main itni busy hain, hume nahi bataaya…

Khanak is tired yelling at him, she's silent…

Dhruv: im sorry Khanak!!

Khanak: sorry??

Dhruv: voh mom ne tumhe itna sunadiya…im really sorry..

Khanak: No Dhruv!! You don't have to be sorry, chod na, uss baat ko yahi pe katam karte hain…

Dhruv: so how's the schedule???

Raj: 4days of written test and last 2 days for practicals!!

Khanak leaves out a long breath, stressed…

Three of them goes through the books, until Khanak feels that she needs a break, she wonders what Shaan must be doing, calls him, but he doesn't answer…

Three of them decide to meet up the next day, Dhruv staying for the month, as he had been consulted by the other hospital, he had to be there for that month…

Khanak looks for Shaan, he was not in his cabin, she gets to know that he's in OT, and the nurse had informed her that, it may take more time…Its evening, when she decides to leave, Khanak leaves a note in his cabin, and returns to home…

Aayush is home, she first showers and freshens up, goes with Aayush, helps him in his studies, her whole day tiredness is lost, she enjoys her best with her son, her hubby has not yet returned, she had called him, but he had left a voice mail telling that, he's on a meeting…Khanak is sad…but…

Aayush: Mom!! Chalo kuch khelte hain!!

Khanak: no Aayush!! Im tired!!

Aayush: Mom, I know, iss liye, aapke mood bhi fresh ho jayega, chalo chalo….

He pulls her out, calls Khushboo, dadi too, Madhvi and Sunil joins too…

Khushboo: kya khelenge Aayush??

Aayush: app mere eyes closekaro iss cloth se (brings a black cloth) aur main aap sabko pakdonga…

Dadi: beta, main sirf dekhungi!!

Aayush: teek hain dadi!! Dada aap ko bhi khelna padega!!

Sunil:arrey maine kab kaha ki main nahi khelunga!!

All joins in, Khanak is happy to see the family, everyone enjoys too, Aayush gets hold of Khushboo, and claps, Khushboo is upset that she got caught…

Now her eyes are closed with the cloth, Khanak is having a good time with her son, giggling, laughing…

Khushboo gets hold of Khanak… Now Khanak's eyes are covered, all are scattered, Sunil and Madhvi are tired running around, they seats on the couch, Aayush is yelling for his mom…

She gets hold of a person..

Khanak: yeh!!! I caught…(yelling, removes the cloth, finds Shaan grinning at her, Aayush claps…She's relieved)

Dadi: chalo abb Shaan bhi agaya, chalo sab dinner karte hain!!

Aayush agrees reluctantly, as he wanted to play for a longer time…

Aayush: Dadi please!!!

Dadi: nahi!! Pehle khaana khalo, baad main khelna… (Shaan wants to share with her lots of things, Khanak is upset that he didn't return her calls)

Shaan showers and joins the family for dinner, dinner goes on with lots of conversation, but none between Shaan and Khanak!!

Aayush tells his papa, about his day, and asks Shaan whether he can teach Aayush basketball, Shaan promises the Sunday for him!!

Shaan waits for her in their room, she had gone with Aayush after the dinner…

She has got lots to do, she decides to stay at house for the next day…

She enters, finds Shaan excited about something, he smiles, she smiles back!!

Shaan walks upto her and hugs her, she leans on him….

Shaan: I missed you a lot!!

Khanak: liar!! (rubs her cheek on his chest)

Shaan: im not a liar!!

Khanak: toh phir call kyun nahi kiya???

Shaan: because I wanted to see you!!! Wait kyun nahi kiya???

Khanak: aur kitna wait karti…

Shaan: teek hain voh sab chodo, how was your day???

Khanak: stressful!! How was yours?? No don't tell, I know that your extremely happy..

Shaan: yes I am!! (gently moves out)

Shaan: I've got offers from other two hospitals!!u know for attending… (smiles broadly)

Khanak: (smiles) That's great!!! Won't that be hectic for you?? 3 hospitals and a clinic??

Shaan: yes, it will be, but I've planned to shut the clinic…

Khanak: oh nice!!! (smiles, she's happy that he's gaining popularity)

Shaan: Khanak!! You don't have plans for late night studies, do you?? (slowly)

Khanak: (she knows what he wants, but its time for some punishment) yes I do!! (moves away from , smiles smugly)

She gets her book, sits on the bed coolly, he just watches her.. he tries to think of something, but then he decides to wait for her… he sits opposite to her, she smiles, he returns it…She focuses on the notes given by Raj, she gets a pencil, bobs it in between her fingers, while looking at the papers, she just holds it in between her teeth, Shaan looks at her, trying to read her thoughts, she seems to be determined, he knows that she won't be ending it soon…

Shaan: Khanak!!!! (slowly siddles up to her, leaving no gap in between them) you know very well, that im waiting for this moment from morning!! I promise to wake you up early!!!

Khanak: (looks at him, like as though he's explaining something) you know I love to see you when your irritated!!!

Shaan uses the opportunity, and picks all the papers, places them in between the pages of the books and closes the book, keeps it on the sidetable, all this without losing her eye contact…

Shaan has moved very closer to her, just breathing on her face, she has her eyes closed, she opens er eyes to find him looking deeply at her… Two lips finally meet….while kissing he makes her lay down on the bed, he hovers over her…..
