Siiiggghhh...

Ups and downs in life makes it even more challenging to live this wonderful, beautiful gift of the Almighty... Especially emotional upheavals like these makes man even more stronger... and helps him understand the value of life better...

Yes this story is all about emotional relationships, the ups and downs, the strength of each bond... the tenure of mind's ability to bear this pain, to be able to enjoy the happiness of sharing the joys and the pains... everything that this beautiful life brings...

Savita-Shaan's relationship epitomized perfectly... the most beautiful relationship on the face of this earth... Mother-son... It only goes to prove that a woman need not actually physically give birth to a child to be able to call herself the child's mother...

So serene and divine is this relationship... Yashoda-Krishna... incarnate... Yes Savita is in pain and shock, withdrawal symptoms, yet Shaan knows somewhere in his mind that no matter how much in the wrong he is, she will come round, see his view point. Pain sometimes blinds one's ability to think rationally and Savita is experiencing that.

Jab Yashoda Maiyya roothe to Kaanha manaaye, aur ek choti si muskaan unke chere pe khil jaaye...

Sigh yes beautiful relationship... be it Mother-son, Lovers, Brothers... each bond is intricate, yet it has its own reason for its existence.

I sigh each time as I read the convos in between them... Sweetheart and her Jerk... I love them...

Now I wait for Khanakdi to bring round her Ma.. if not completely at least start the process and am sure Shaan will do the rest with ease...

mwaaa Mani.. beautiful emotions depicted even more beautifully... the way you write, the way you portray is like a day to day living of a normal person. The life of a person brimming with emotions and upheavals...

The very essence of ShaNak on test... I am sure their strength lies in their love and trust for each other as well as family...

As I read Savita-Shaan's dilemma, this lovely song comes to my mind...

Maiyya meri, main nahin maakhan khaayo...

Kaanha ne maakhan churaya hain, par maiyya ko bhi manaana hain.

woow once again an awesome update mani very well etched the pain of shaan .loved the way u put the flash back .the past and the present was so well put .loved it .loved the way akshay gave the confidence to shaan at a time when he need the most .and the phone call shaan asking her to talk to maa now those last line were really heart touching shaan is really a man of his words gosh that does wht he says .and here he is standing by the toughest of things holding his head high even at this very time .love him so much love the bond of shanak so much .waiting eagerly how the convo between khanak and savita turns out to be .

I m late !

Sooorrryyy !

I love how u shape the other characters in the story and their influence on Shanak s life right from Sameer !

I never expected such a bond to exist between the two brothers ! Lovely !

Akshay was spot on asking abt if he s going to go away with or without Khanak !

Not that Shaan was doubtful abt that ! but made us readers more at peace !

The way Shaan says abt Khanak having the best of people around her and she ddeserved to be happpy was awesome !

Looking forward to how Khanak defends or reasons out or just cries to her mom !

I m sure Savita will not be surprised when she sees the bond between Shaan and Khanak ! After all she s their Ma !
