😆 When I first saw the note scene..I immediately started thinking of ways that the note would come back to Khanak, so I spent about half of a day thinking about it.😳😆
This is kind of how I want the note scene to go. Kind of! My writing sucks..but I gave it a shot. I know the CVs will have a much better situation than mine though, they have a much better imagination than mine.😆
If you don't know what the scene is..watch this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLcpLZLzPfc

here goes nothing.
The Note
Walking thru the streets yet again, Khanak sensed a feeling of Deja vu. The last time she was here was when she had left the house and Shantanu had come looking for her. Their walk back was a treat it itself, fighting at every little thing, stopping for a break every time Shantanu the mighty 'mard' became tired, and just walking. As realization hit her, Khanak was surprised to see exactly how much things had changed since then. Five months ago, they were just in a process of becoming friends; they had just set their differences aside to understand each other. And now, even after forming a solid relationship, Khanak was leaving the house again. Why? because she didn't want to be the one to sabotage a relationship between two lovers. Somewhere in the five months, Khanak had fallen in love with Shantanu. Maybe it was the way he helped her understand the city's ways, their little fights, how he apologized to her every time. Now, all she really wanted to do was stay with him forever, but she even knew that wasn't possible. Shantanu loves Natasha and Natasha loves Shantanu. That was all she wanted to think, for she feared her decisions would change if she thought otherwise.
Today, after signing the last of the final divorce papers, Khanak left the house without informing anyone. She told Dadi, but with a promise that this matter would stay between them. A speeding car abruptly broke through her thoughts, resulting in a couple of colorful words from her mouth." Gaadi chalani nahi aathi toh chalata kyun hai?! Burthal!" that word had made her stop. That word could only be used for Shantanu. How many times she had called him that, she even lost count. The word became so normal for them that even Shantanu had used it on her once. Of course, it resulted in another argument but that is another story to tell.
Looking up, she noticed that the bus station was in visible sight. Heaving a sigh, she made her way to the ticket counter to buy herself a ticket into a new life. Even though she was going back to the place that it had all started, she was no more the same Khanak. She had endured a lot in her life, and now going back to her Ada and Bai, she felt a feeling of relief. She would be with them soon, away from this place, away from Shantanu and hopfully away from this feeling that had started enveloping her. "Bha, Dhulwadi ke liye ek ticket dena" Handing him the crisp bill, she waited for her ticket when she saw the car again. It seemed familiar, a car that seems similar to...smacking herself on the head for letting Shantanu into her thoughts again, she turned back to the bha with the change in his hand. "Madam ji, check ki jiye ki sahi amount mila hai ki nahi" Taking the wise man's advice, Khanak started going thru the money when a certain 10 rupee note came in sight. She knew this note, for it was a special one. Her eyes seemed to fail her as she stared at it. It was the same note that Shantanu had given her, his first gift to her, his first pay. Feeling a slight tap on her shoulder, she turned around to look. "Tumhi ne toh kaha tha, agar yeh note tumhare paas laut kar aagaya toh maanlo yeh sab kismat ka kaam hai".
ll Sadka Hua, yoon ishq ka
ke sar jukha jahan, deedar hua ll
With a beaming smile on his face, Shantanu watched the different emotions that played on his Miss. Musibat's face; first the disbelief, then the confusion, and finally the happiness. She was his wife, and always will be. Somewhere in those five months, Shantanu had also realized his love for Khanak, his wife. Not having the courage to tell her, he kept the little detail all to himself.
ll Mein kar na sakoon bayan
ke chup se hui meri zubaan ll
After returning home early and finding out that Khushboo bhabhi had purposely shown Khanak the divorce papers in hopes of her leaving them forever, a worried Shantanu had made a dash for his car, on a journey to bring back his wife, yet again. Only this time, there was no outside reason, no Akshay bhaiya, no business deal; just his love.
ll Kuch Rang Soche Hai, kuch kwhaab dekhe hain
Aab maine kal aapne, tere sang soche hain ll
Holding his hand out towards Khanak, he waited for her to look at him again. "Aapni kismat aazmao Khanak, tum meri patni ho aur hamesha rahogi" Picking up her petti in one hand, he waited for her to hold his other. Placing her hand into his, Khanak had decided to let her fate take over.
ll Sadka Hua, yoon ishq ka
Ke sar jukha jahan, deedar hua ll
"Ab ghar chalo!" dragging her back into the car, Shantanu hurriedly made his way into the driver's seat, afraid that if fate meddled too much again, they would have to end up walking home like the last time. And Shantanu Khandelwal was so not ready for another night on the road!
