Thank you, Mischy. 😳

And you have put it so well yourself. šŸ‘ True advice which would do everyone and anyone only good.

We'll just have to wait and see what will be the ultimate trajectory for Shaad.

Believe me I was (and still am to some extent) actually embarrassed by my reaction and my husband even gave me a similar chat like that fiction explanation I saw somewhere in this forum...at which point I totally blew my top and finally he got HOW all this would look to ME...
And really it isn't just me talking about all these points...you guys have been saying the same things so it really is not an issue of me projecting my sensitivity about issues irrationally either...

As far as VT is concerned, at first I thought along similar lines that maybe his acting might not be upto mark...but then after having forced myself to watch all those scenes (before I wrote this post last week), there is no doubt that the cvs are at fault here...
Really VT has not shown anything other than what he is supposed to if you consider the over all care given to romanticize and show intimacy between them in 'cute' scenarios with all those familiar BGs of Q1 used constantly not to mention sequences played on Sahil as well...Clearly and surely they are trying to show a love story here...no doubt there regarding this...

Honestly this fiction thing puts me off as well, if fiction can be taken so seriously to unnecessarily justify ur favorites n necessarily n unnecessarily bash n critisize the "non favorite" , if fiction can be taken that much seriously so as to ship a couple then why cant fiction be taken seriously when it regards social issues. .. U know i seriously never get this point that fiction is only fir the purpose of entertainment, beleive it or not, fiction actually mirrors the mindsets of people, n fiction does have an impact over people, so thats a total nonsense thinking that by just running a disclaimer ur job is done, Writers, producers, channel every one should be responsible enough to know what they r showing n there is certain moral n social responsibilty as well...

Sorry i got quite carried away, but i agree with u, these makers have been highly irresponsible .. They just take many things fr granted, in season 1 too i had issues with how certain things were shown, although people seem to enjoy Razia's antics but i found them offensive too, n it was heartening to know that a complaint was registered against them .

Now this new issue of romantiizing a serious issue, i hv been quite vocal about it, have written "essays" acc to some,
But just wondering those who r writing such things in such matter of fact way n those enjoying it are really least bit affected by this ,

Just because the Pak track disgusted me so much i hv now fully detached myself from that, instead of getting angered n disgusted everyday its better to stay away from that BS.

Why i m so sure he n his "actions" will be given a clean chit n will be turned a blind eye šŸ˜• thats how these writers "deal" with the shitty tracks they present without thinking

SAšŸ‘ hats off for this insightful post!

"The story is told in such a convoluted way that even some of the audience that does not find the situation romantic is able to think of Shaad as a tragic average good guy with everyday human failings on his way to major heart break...AND people are actually able to empathize with the violator INSTEAD of the girl being violated here..."

The way it's all packaged, very sly Cvs! u have fun & frolic in Fakestisan, with the OTT Jinnat reminding people of her much loved mother and show unpalatable horror on the Indian side. Plus,it helps a lot the violator is handsome.
Will Shadd be shown unhinged?I doubt. He'll be glorified further and probably die a hero's death, getting away easily.

Thank you dear.

Bold: Yup this is exactly what they have been banking on and it is working to an extent...but some types of issues are not to be trifled with specifically in a daily show produced in a country like India where issues like rape and other such degradation of women are all too real and plenty...
And ofcourse Shaad would not be shown unhinged šŸ˜›. I have no illusions about that...what I meant was that the only way now to actually remedy the situation was to show him as such considering the gravity of it...
Either we would get a similar scenario like with Seher regarding Aher or we will get Shaad the glorified hero at the end to redeem him of all his wrongs in one fell swoop, however unrealistic it looks given how he has acted so far..🤢

Firstly I would say that the character of jannat doesn't match sanam at all I mean sanam was mature, responsible, smart girl.k I understand she lost her memory but a basic framework of a persons mind cannot be changed.their way of thinking, acting, remains almost same.jannat looks more like seher with the kind of bubbliness they show.
Secondly CVS showed jannat accepting shaad soo easily.I mean u come to know ur husband is marrying another women nd u forgive him soo easily without sound justifications.nd immediately Jannat started acting as a dutiful wife.if she lost her memory then hoe can she know wifely duties etc etc.nd she never even demanded her wedding pics or honeymoon pics watsoever.if CVS had shown jannat curious about her identity it would have been better.
Shaad was shown as a loyal military man for whom oly his country mattered nd noone else.he even pretended to be jannats husband oly for finding shashi kapoor not caring of jannat or anyone else.it shows his obsession when he loves something he is fiercely protective of ghat nd now his obsession is shifted from his country to jannat I guess.hopefully he won't turn another faiz as they are enough villains in QH to last a 1000episodes v don't need anymore.
Nd what disgusts me the most is this a Muslim show nd they show such kind of craps right from ayaan zoyas nikah.they made a mockery of nikah.then with faiz nd tanveer tracks mockery of love.I mean in Islam a women is given utmost importance.her chastity ,her respect is honoured.she is preserved nd kept like a diamond but in this show they have made a women a sex object.I mean haya accepting faiz in anger, sanam 2's horrible ideas where is the respect for religion gone I just don't know how miraculously has such pathetic tracks not banned by govt nd is shown on prime time.what kind of msg will it spread among non Muslim audiences who don't know in-depth practices of Islam.its clearly degrading a religion nd sending wrong msg across the audience not recently this is been happening from the episode where ayaan zoya got married.

Anyways you did right to post it. But honestly I feel now it can't be reversed I mean the way Shaad character is portrayed right now. He is perfect for being a villian now cause I already can't connect to him and if CVs make him suddenly good and all I won't even be able to connect him. Cvs should have take care about this matter before. Besides I agree about each and every point you pointed out. Better CVS make his character clear for audience but please no reverse process ! It won't make his deeds vanish in air.

Nafs,...no worries...I didn't think for even a second that you were laughing at my post...I wouldn't think of that about any of you guys TBH
Besidies, I'm not the one with 'boolneki bimari'šŸ˜‰ so I am fully aware of your hasneyki bimari.šŸ˜›
But I was curious about your ROFL's, as I was thinking more along the lines of that convo we had regarding my blunder about Salwar Qamees that Sanam was wearing during that fake SR scene.šŸ˜† So I even read through my post again to make sure I didn't make any embarrassing mistakes like that even though I was sure I didn't use any of my stilted hindi in the main post this time.

As for Shaad, I'm not even talking about reversing his character portrayal...it has gone too far already...What I meant was initially when we all were voicing out about this, if everyone had joined us maybe something good about Shaad's character could have been done and many would have reverted to give him a chance...but now even some of those who were willing to give him a chance have declared him too far gone.

And I am dead serious about the fact that his actions towards Jannat shows that he is mentally unbalanced...
It really IS outside 'normal' everyday guy behaviour but these cvs think that if they show him as the average good guy with the rest of the people in his life, everyone of us would buy the 'good guy with faults' projection...Hell no!
The cvs have gone ahead with their disgusting story line here, despite our feed back so now it does not matter to us where they take his character because we won't connect with him now and couldn't care less even if they turn him to be a tragic hero...

@farru786:

I am a non Muslim, but even I was offended by Zoyaan Nikah and how it was portrayed. How they tried to make a marriage in which neither party "consented" to the marriage as legal. It was all a big mistake and could have been rectified. But instead for high drama, they made the two forcibly sign marriage docs. Pathetic.

Then with Aahil and Sanam2, AGAIN, bride's identity is hidden and he is misled into thinking he is marrying Sanam Ahemed Khan, but it is actually "Sanam Khan". But again not legal, coz consent was obtained fraudulently and name was again wrong! But do they care? NO.

Now they are showing Shaad, who only pretended to be married to Jannat to further his case. (Shashi Kapoor witness) and then to get out of marrying Misbah! No respect for his Father, he accepts a total stranger as his wife on what was supposed to be his wedding day, in front of all his family and acquaintances. Then he even keeps this girl in his room and lectures his Father on how "good husbands" behave! Total hypocrisy! Your right. NOW, his obsession has shifted to this girl and he is doing everything to keep her "trapped" with him with no means of escape. He cares nothing for HER metal health or her long term well-being. How she deserves to know who SHE is? NO. She should just stay with him, and fulfill his selfish delusions! So I agree with SheAish, the guy IS unhinged! Coz "Normal" people don't act this way!

Jannat's behavior was unreal from the moment she got memory loss. Especially how she was ready to party as soon as she came to Shaad's house and without hesitation and ever asking for "proof" accepted Shaad as her husband. Especially when it is clear he knows nothing of her family, her background, or even able to provide her much background about their relationship. I think the way they showed her, especially at the start is very unreal. A person with memory loss usually is "Obsessed" with knowing who they are. But Jannat? Most of the time don't care! More interested in snooping into other people's business and having Cat fights with Misbah! The makers of this show are honestly the pits! They have NO idea how to tell a story in a way that people can believe and accept it! Just turn it all into a mockery! They think the audience is "STUPID!"
