Hi everyone!
This is something I wrote a few days ago. I don't even know what this is - I think it's a One-shot or maybe more? Only time will tell.
Hope you all enjoy it!

The Meeting
Sanam Ahmed Khan was often referred as an independent, strong-minded, intellectual and passionate woman.
She had a solid reputation of finalizing all kind of deals with world famous business men in various companies.
However, her thoughts went off limits when she met The Nawab of Bhopal; Aahil Raza Ibrahim for the very first time.
She had heard a lot about the Nawab, but he had been everything else than what was being said in the newspapers.
Sure, he came off like an arrogant man at times, but the truth was that he was one hell of a business man. And she needed him.
Sanam gripped into her white designer bag as the elevator door opened. She stepped outside and walked down the long hallway inside the expensively designed office.
She wore a white dress which went to the knees with cap sleeves and pair of black heels. - Looking elegant as always.
She met the secretary sitting behind a desk with a small smile.
"I'm here to speak with Aahil Raza Ibrahim about a project from The Marketing Company."
"Yes, Mr. Ibrahim is expecting you. He is busy at the moment, but you are welcome to wait until he's free."
Sanam nodded simply as she found a spot at the office to sit at.
She took a quiet look down at her black watch and sighed. Whenever she had an appointment with anyone, they would make sure it followed her tight schedule.
Sometime later, the sectary gave a nod to Sanam.
"Mr. Ibrahim is ready to talk to you."
About time' she thought as she collected her bag and went inside his cabin.
"I was waiting one hour for your meeting, Mr. Ibrahim," Sanam spoke as she sat down on a black chair at the hugely decorated office room.
"I was expecting to believe that our meeting would be on time" she expressed her thoughts.
"Waiting is not my style."
Aahil Raza Ibrahim leaned back into his leather chair and took a long look at the woman before him. He had started to notice a few differences with this woman.
She had a certain kind of charm whenever she spoke. He had felt himself drawn into her from the very first meeting they had a few months ago.
No one else had conquered this much attention from him before.
"I am fully aware of that. I had an important briefing through Skype which I needed to attend. I'm sorry for your wait."
"Apology accepted."
He raised a small eyebrow thinking this woman was something else. She had left a rather big impression to him.
He tore his thoughts away and met her soft gaze. "Can I get you anything? Coffee? Soda?"
"Yes please, an expresso with one tea spoon of sugar."
He made a call and ordered what was needed.
"Alright, you came here to talk about the project your company is launching." He spoke.
"Yes, like we discussed last time we want the two companies to work together which can benefit them both on the long run."
He nodded.
"And what makes you think I would say yes to this?" he asked while his eyes skimmed a few pages through his black file which she had handed him last time.
Sanam smirked slightly and studied him for a short while.
Her eyes went to what he was wearing. The black fitted shirt looked good on him especially the few buttons undone to get a peek at his smooth strong chest.
A black blazer was hanging behind him by the chair he was sitting in. She could tell that he was well dressed kind of guy.
A man who spent a lot of money to look presentable in front of others - and why not? Especially when you were a Nawab and owner of a company which made millions every day?
She couldn't deny that there was a certain kind of charm in the way he carried himself and the way he spoke.
It was gentle but a slight edge into it and he was aware of how to play with his words to reach his goals.
She swallowed lightly. Since when did looks made her weak?
Oh, for God sake, you're Sanam Ahmed Khan. A woman who knows what she wants! Get your head back into the game.'
She blinked a few times setting her gaze on him once again, "You were impressed with our work last time we held a meeting."
"- Correction, Miss Khan" he interrupted her and raised his gaze up from the file.
"I was simply impressed with your line of work."
"You already got a person you can trust, Mr. Ibrahim. We want the same thing here. I've got something you need and we can make an offer to you for whatever you want."
Aahil had to admit that the woman knew just what she wanted in life. He had noticed it from the very first meeting they had month ago. There was a certain kind of fire burning into her soulful brown eyes.
She had already got his attention and truth to be told he started to consider her offer.
A knock interrupted his thoughts as a man came inside with their respective orders. A cup of expresso and a black coffee was placed on the table.
Her eyes scanned him and the way he made his move.
"That's how you do business." He heard her speak.
"Highly impressive I must say" he commented and watched her take a sip from her expresso.
"I like your guts." He smirked.
She crossed her legs as she stared at the man.
"I'm sure it's not the only thing you'll like once I leave this room. I want this deal to go on board."
He stared at her. Was she for real?'
"Straightforward huh?"
"Time is precious, Mr. Ibrahim. If we want something why not just say as it is."
"Aahil" he said.
"You can call me Aahil. So what if I give green light to this project. Will you manage it?"
"Yes alongside with the company and its co-directors."
"I didn't ask about others, Miss Khan. I haven't seen their line of work. I've only seen yours."
She noticed the way the words came out from his mouth. She tried her best not to get effected by the tone.
"Having trust issues? I thought that's how you did business?"
"No trust issues," he assured her.
"And for your information, you shouldn't always believe what the newspapers write."
"Oh, I stopped believing a long time ago."
She studied him for a while and noticed the change in his features. A light smirk began to spread across her rosy lips.
"What's wrong, Mr. Aahil. You look rather surprised?"
He shook his head and a small smile began to form. "No, it's just that it's the first time I've come across a woman like you."
"A woman like me - care to elaborate?"
She was slowly getting under his skin - no other had ever dared to speak to him in such manner. Everyone always had a certain kind of respect toward him - but sometimes it was too much and he often questioned about it.
"A woman who knows what her aims are - and you're rather good achieving the goals." He leaned back into the chair after taking a sip from his coffee.
"Why thank you, I feel flattered."
Aahil could easily hear the sarcasm in Sanam's voice. And most surprising this was that he let her have her moment. It didn't bother him at all.
"I know you can do better than that, Miss Khan. I know you. You should know how I do business. So I ask one more time, who would be handling the business from your company?"
Sanam couldn't believe what was happening. The independent and strong willed mask she had embraced was slowly slipping from her features.
She was starting to become a slave to his powerful yet affected words - and she would be lying if she said that it didn't bring her pleasure and enjoyment.
She swallowed slightly as she looked up to meet his gaze. It was like he had read her thoughts when a smirk began to spread across his lips.
Just how could he read her like an open book?
"Yes," she spoke.
He raised an eyebrow - yet he knew just what she meant.
"Yes what?"
"I will be handling the project."
"Good! Very well, it's done then. You've got yourself a deal. We both got what we want."
"We all know what we want one way or another." She said not fully realizing what words she let out.
They caught each other's gazes as he made sure he held it.
"So, what else do you need, Miss Khan?"
"What makes you think there is something else?"
"You're still here - at my office." He titled his head slightly and lingered his eyes on her for a minute longer.
"It gives me an idea that you're thinking about something."
The way he had said the words had almost made her lose the ability to respond.
Little did she know they were no longer talking about business anymore - but rather about something else?
