Part 7 - You're The Reason For My Smile:

********

Sanam arrived home in the morning and quietly let herself inside her house. She gently tiptoed through the hallway and into her own room, not wanting to wake Seher up, who was sleeping in the room next door.

She grabbed a few clothes and a towel and got inside the bathroom. She took a look at herself in the mirror.

She still saw the strong independent woman, who was head strong in her decisions. A few minutes later, she led herself under the steaming water as she thought back on last night.

Oh, she had most definitely not regretted anything. She closed her eyes as she remembered his electrifying touch.

His burning touch made her restless.

His soft caress had left her wanting more.

More!

Aahil slipped a hand down and touched her ever so gently. He kept rubbing her softly through the thin fabric she wore.

"Ohh" she moaned as response to him.

Sanam led the hot water fill her thoughts. She really needed a cold shower after their hot session.

Half an hour she stepped outside the shower and got dressed into a pair of lose tracksuit as she still had a few hours before she needed to turn in for work.

She took one last glance at herself in the damped mirror and saw her cheeks red from the heated shower - or was it because of her thoughts?

She shook her head and got on to dry her wet hair.

"When did you arrive?" a voice spoke from the doorway.

Sanam turned around and saw her sister yawning slightly as she ran a hand through her hair.

"Uh, I arrived last night."

She couldn't help but lie. Truth to be told she didn't really know why she had, but she couldn't face her questions at the moment.

Seher furrowed her brows. "Last night? I didn't hear you come in?"

"I must have been very careful. I had a few meetings last night which took its time and yeah I couldn't really say no to the offer - I mean attending the meeting." She mentally cringed at herself.

Seher turned around to leave. "Ugh, alright. I'm going to lie down for another hour."

"What about the IT meeting you had to attend? Wasn't it today?" Sanam asked.

"It's around 3 o' clock, which still gives me some time to relax."

"Okay, I'm going to work in a few hours. I'll cook you something before I leave."

"No need to, I'm going to meet up with Rehaan later." She said making her way inside her room to lie down.

"Alright. Enjoy your day when you get to that." Sanam said as she went to get ready.

-----

Two weeks went by where Sanam was busy with her work as was Aahil.

They however managed to meet up one evening, where Sanam couldn't get his words out from her mind.

"You've been the first one who I have invited here. I don't invite anyone here unless it's someone who is close to me and I have a liking toward the person. You can ask Lateef about it if you don't believe me."

Should she believe what he had told him? He was a Nawab and well-known figure. She shouldn't be surprised if he had been with a few women before. But why was it bothering her so much?

Did she want him for her own?

Sanam made her way toward the kitchen where her eyes found Lateef busy with cleaning the kitchen. She hesitantly took a few steps forward, not knowing why she felt a bit afraid to hear the answer of her question.

"Lateef" she called.

He turned around wearing the usual smile on the face.

"I wanted to ask you something. It might be weird, but I need to know for sure."

"Yes, what is it." Lateef smiled.

"Lateef, has there been anyone else than me?"

He quickly understood what she was asking about.

"Oh, this is about Laat Saab." He said turning his attention on the young woman.

"You've been the first woman who he has brought back home. Aahil baba has never does this unless it must be someone special? And don't tell him I've told you this, but he's very different what others. I've seen who Laat Saab really is - and he's nothing like what's written in the papers. He really has a heart of a man who cares about those who are close to him. I know these things, because Main to Hui Chui Mui."

Meanwhile Aahil had stood by the doorway, watching their conversation unfold. Of course, he had expected Sanam to go ahead and ask him the question and see whether it was true or not. He didn't really blame her for doing so.

She had the right to ask.

The Nawab quietly went back into the living room waiting patiently for her to return back. When his dark eyes found her making her way inside, he reached out and brought a chair in front of him.

"Sit," he told her.

Sanam came forward and sat down on the chair he had pulled out for her, while glancing him a look of question.

Aahil stared into her warm eyes and knew he had already made the right choice on holding on to this woman.

He reached out for her hand and entwined their fingers together.

"I know this is hard to comprehend - or maybe not. I mean you haven't really dated any Nawab before.."

"- You don't know that." She teased him.

He raised a playful eyebrow. "I'll pretend that I did not hear that" he said giving her the same look.

"I know you just asked Lateef about my past weather there have been anyone but you. And the answer is yes, but it was nothing serious. Whatever I had something I needed to sort out, I did it outside."

She stared at him trying to adjust his answer. "So did you enjoy it? Being well known Casanova?"

"At first yes, who wouldn't? But as you go through life, you get to understand why these people are so eager to be with you. But I never got a chance to experience any of these sorts of thing with you. Matter of fact it was me who had to convince you to have dinner with me in the first place."

She chuckled lightly remembering the few first meetings she had with him. "Yeah."

"I believe you." She said heartily squeezing his hand gently.

"Good. You see, I was a beast in the nights which I needed to unleash around elven twelve-ish. I guess he wanted to come and play."

He said with a slight twinkle in his eyes.

Sanam noticed it and couldn't help but play along. Her hands went up to play with his collar of the shirt.

"Does the beast want to come out now?"

"I don't know, what time is it?" he grinned.

"It's eleven twelve-ish" she said in the same tone as he had before.

"I guess he can make an appearance" he said leaning closer.

Sanam smirked silently and pushed him back and stood up from the chair.

"Ugh, you're so bad," she said shaking her head at him.

He managed to grab into her wrist. "Stop playing mind games with already," he exclaimed.

"Why? Can't seem to handle a woman like me?" she asked slightly amused.

He raised a playful eyebrow at her.

"I can handle you alright. The question is whether you can handle this beast over here."

Sanam turned around meeting his gaze. She then bent forward and ran a finger over his strong jawline, feeling the light stubble.

"Oh, I can handle you and you already know that, don't you?"

Sanam saw the light effect she had on him and cold easily see desire come across his eyes.

God damn it, this woman was something else,'
he thought.

She grinned.

"What are you thinking?" she asked knowing well enough that she was testing his limits and willpower.

He continued to stare at her with such intensity.

"I'm thinking on pinning you against the wall and have my way with you."

She had to admit that she liked him being so bold with her sometimes.

"Wish it was that simple," she said before walking out from his reach. The statement had put him into a recent memory.

"Ugh! We've got to stop flipping all the time," A female voice spoke from lying on the bed with a handsome man on top of her.

"Stop it. I know you enjoy it." Aahil said taking a long look at Sanam.

"I do not." She said embracing a fake surprised look on the face.

"Sure and you'll say you don't enjoy our sessions either."

"You're right, I don't."

Aahil
raised a playful eyebrow at her. "You didn't?"

He could already see that she was struggling to keep a straight face. "No."

"So you just randomly like to sleep with a handsome Nawab like me is that it? I mean, damn, I must be good then, judging by the fact that you're still here, no?" He joked.

She noticed that his grip on her had loosened a bit and decided to take advantage of it and answered him.

"You're okay, I've had better and besides..." she flipped them over so that she was on top of him and smirked.

"I like to be on top in case you already haven't noticed."

Two could play the game of temptation, couldn't they?

He wore a slight smile playing on his lips as he flipped them both over to the original position as before.

"Now, that's not what I recall last time, when you were screaming my name over and over again with the intense pleasure?"

He paused and smirked slightly upon seeing her face as she bit her bottom lip.

"What? Where is the Khan I know" he said earning a grin from her.

"She's right here - with you."
She placed her hand on his cheek.

He grinned and held her.

"Yeah, wish I could say it was that simple." He said coming back into the present. Sanam watched the look he wore.

She made her way toward one of the rooms and spoke without turning around.

"Don't try too hard'."

"Too late." The replay startled her a bit.

He went on to get a hold of her hand and pulled her hard against his chest. A sweet laugh escaped her lips as her eyes beamed of happiness.

"What are you up to?"

He leaned closer into her ear and whispered. "I think you already know what I'm up to..."

-----

The next morning, Aahil groaned as he opened his eyes and adjusted the sunlight creeping through the cream colored curtains of his bedroom.

He reached out a hand, only to feel the other side of the bed empty. He raised his head from the pillow and looked around in the room for any signs of Sanam.

But there was none. He however found a small yellow sticker at the side of his nightstand table.

"Gone to an important meeting. See you later perhaps? - Miss not-so-dominating-Khan."

A gentle smile formed across his face upon reading the message. He reached out for his phone and dialed a familiar number. It was just a little past 11 in the afternoon and knew she must be free at this time.

He waited for her to pick up at the other end.

"Why work so early?" Aahil said once he heard her pick up. He could hear the clicking of her heels in the background. He wondered what attire she had worn for the day.

Was it a skirt with a white shirt or a knee length dress this time?

"I take it as Mr. Royalty has just woken up."

"More than just up" he stated.

Sanam rolled her eyes and mocked him lightly. "Well some of us do have work to be done. I couldn't sleep till 11 unlike other people."

"I was tired" he expressed. "Or should I say someone stopped me from sleeping last night?"

"I didn't hear you complain?"

He grinned. "You'll never hear me complain."

"Good!"

"Matter of fact I'll only complain that you're not here with me right now. The things I would do.."

Sanam couldn't help but blush by his words. Aahil knew that he had such an effect on her even though he could not see her expression.

"Maybe some other time? I'll make it up to you."

"Oh you will, Miss Khan."

"Talk to you later, Mr. Nawab."

They said their byes and ended the phone call.

He lay back on his back and let him mind go back to last night. How her gentle fingers grazed his skin which drove him wild.

The night consisted of gentle touches with rough kisses.

Sanam bit her lip, closing her eyes tight at the same time. The intense attention her body was receiving from the gorgeous man above her had her mind spinning from pure pleasure.

She buried her hands inside his mane, running and pulling slightly, letting him know that whatever he was doing felt so damn right.

"Come for me.." he whispered huskily into her ear.

"..For you" she breathed as she shut her eyes tight once again.

Aahil groaned once retuning back to the present.

"You're got it bad, Aahil Raza Ibrahim."

With that he stood up from the bed and got into the bathroom to take a shower.

A half an hour later, he entered the kitchen where Lateef was busy making breakfast for him.

He was about to turn around but his eyes somehow got stuck on the kitchen counter. Yet another memory filled his mind.

He picked her up into his arms and placed her on the kitchen counter, where he spread her legs apart and came to stand in between. He wore a gentle smirk seeing the woman he had fallen hard for.

He leaned in and met her in a much heated kiss, burying his hands inside her hair. He controlled her gently giving him more access to her.

"Argh!" he led out a frustrated sound as he exited the kitchen and into the living room.

Everything reminds me of her! You're gone, ARI. Fanito. Over. Finished. You're days are over and have officially taken over by Miss Dominating Khan.'

-----

The following few days, the Khan Sisters had decided to enjoy their night together without any disturbances.

They were currently seated in the living room with blankets and watching a few movies. Sanam had made the dinner while Seher had chosen the movies.

They had just finished watching the second movie for the night which they had enjoyed very much.

Seher was silently studying her twin sister with much attention. She had noticed a few changes with her and even the way she behaved now days. She seemed more relaxed and happy at some point.

Suddenly it all clicked into her mind.

Seher's eyes widened as her mouth turned into a huge gasp.

"OH MY GOD!"

Seher jumped slightly by the loud voice. "What! What is it!?"

"You did it didn't you?"

"Did what? What are you talking about?" Sanam asked Seher.

"You took the next level with Mr. Nawab aka. I-am-so-hard-to-figure-out-yet-I-am-good-at-heart."

A light laugh escaped Sanam's lips and shook her head as she stood up from the couch to get a glass of water for herself.

Seher couldn't let it go yet. She reached out and pointed a finger at her sister while wearing the familiar smirk.

"You totally did it."

"I'm not sure if I'm following what you're implying." Sanam said turning on the tap for the cold water to run. She filled a glass of water for herself.

"Oh, God Sake. No need to be innocent - and no mind games on me, Sista. I bet you totally had a night of passion together - admit it!"

Sanam was about to reply but was interrupted.

"You did it. I can totally see it in your walk."

This time she faced her sister. "What? My walk?"

Seher whistled.

"Damn, I take is as he's good?" Seher wiggled her eyebrows at her.

Sanam could feel the blood rush up to her cheeks. "There's nothing wrong with my walk and I am not having this conversation with you."

"What? Oh come on, I tell you all the time what I do with Rehaan."

Sanam covered her ears. "Which I am never even slightest interested in hearing what you two are doing."

Seher sat back into the couch. "Well, I so need to know what you and Aahil are doing. So speak up, woman."

"Nope. Sorry, honey."

"At least tell me if he's any good? I won't ask for any more questions."

Sanam stared at her sister for a while and agreed. "Okay."

"Okay! So, how was he?"

Sanam made her way into her bedroom. She smirked meeting Seher's gaze.

"He was good."

"Just good?" Seher said trying her best to get some kind of information from her.

"Oh come on, he's a Nawab. He's the biggest stylish Khiladi according the people of its Town."

"Well, let's just say that he didn't stop until I said so."

With that Sanam disappeared into her room, leaving her sister behind with a two raised eyebrows and a visible smirk across her lips.

She could easily hear her sister cheering from the living room.

"You Chupi Rustam."

Seher couldn't contain the new information nor the rush of excitement either. She quickly turned off the TV and grabbed into a cushion and got inside her sister's room. She gently tackled her into the bed as laughs were exchanged between the two sisters.

Seher sat up and stared at Sanam.

"I can't believe you hid this for me - and to think that I actually believed that you had a few late meetings you needed to attend."

Sanam blushed. "I actually did have meetings.."

"Oh sure. Did any productive come out of it? Other than a few screams and urge of wanting more?"

"Oh God, Seher!"

-----

A few weeks later Aahil was busy driving through the streets.

He parked the car at the side of the road where he had a meeting with some important investors at a restaurant. He noticed the area was close to Sanam's workplace and made a mental note to step by in case if she was free.

One hour later, he had finished the meeting in the evening and was rather satisfied with the outcome. He had finalized yet another deal which would benefit both parties.

He was making his way toward the car but stopped slightly when his eyes found a few familiar people across the road.

Aahil furrowed his brows in pure confusion.

His dark eyes found his brother, Rehaan walking with none other than Sanam.

She was carrying into a small black bag and a few files in her hands. They were both making their way toward the parking lot to the car.

What he noticed the most was the way they were walking. Almost too close to each other. They did feel a bit too friendly as well.

But the question was: what was his kid brother doing with her? With Sanam? How did he know her?

He was about to cross the road, but stopped when he saw Rehaan wrap his arm around her shoulders, bringing her closer. She on the other hand, hadn't mind, the closeness at all.

Rehaan leaned in and kissed the side of her head as Sanam placed a hand on his arm and smiled gently. They parted their ways on each side of the car and climbed in.

What is going on?'
Aahil stood back watching them drive out from the parking lot.

He came home the very same hour and paced the living room in pure frustration. He hadn't even talked to anyone nor did he call Rehaan.

Should he call him? See what he was up to?

Many hours went by and night began to fall over the city.

There was no sight of Rehaan for don't know how long.

Aahil had even called Sanam but she hadn't picked up. He figured that they were probably still together.

The picture of them together burned his mind. The question which bothered him the most was the fact what was Sanam doing with Rehaan?

What were they doing together?

Just what the hell is going on!?'

I hipe he finds out about Sanam having a twin in the next chapter! I wouldn't want him to misunderstand Sanam and accuse her. If he does accuse her she will never forgive him, I think.
I loved this and I can't wait for the next chapter!
