The couple had somehow gotten closer over the course of months. They had given each other a level of understanding and acceptance.
They got to know each other in a more relaxed and calm manner.
Aahil Raza Ibrahim walked inside a hugely made building and took the elevator to the 8th floor.
He took a small glance at himself at the mirror and ran a hand through his hair.
He was looking stylish as ever wearing a light blue shirt and a dark blue colored blazer on top which was opened to give a peak of his well-formed physique.
The elevator dinged and he stepped out taking off his glasses and hanging them in front of his shirt.
He was currently making his way through the long hallway and into Sanam's cabin where she worked. On his way, he couldn't help but get a few glances nodding at him in an almost respected manner.
Of course they would recognize the Nawab of Bhopal.
Aahil's dark eyes found the woman he had craved for ever since he had laid eyes upon her beauty.
She was standing behind a glass door interacting with another colleague which was a woman with long curly hair. Nodding at the woman Sanam took a hold of the black files and placed them on her desk as the colleague left the cabin.
His eyes went down to what attire she wore and it would be a lie if he didn't find it attractive about her.
She wore a cream pencil skirt and a white top with black heels. Her hair was loosely held up with a clip, but still falling around her shoulder.
This time she wore her designer black rimmed glasses as well. It suited her well he concluded.
Sanam took a glance at her the hallway where most people had already left the office as it was a little past 7. She alongside the staff had dinner together and afterwards people had started to leave.
She, however, had stayed behind to take care of a few things before she could go home.
Sanam was about to turn around but met a pair of black orbs staring into her in an almost intense way. Aahil began to approach her and she noticed the way he carried himself.
How is it possible for him to look this good in about everything he wears?'
She smiled at his way.
"Hey, what are you doing here?"
Aahil smiled back at her. He was looking forward to meet up with her.
"I thought I could come and pick you up and have dinner maybe?"
"I already had dinner."
"Go for a coffee then?"
She read her his eyes and knew he must have been waiting for her to call him all day. "I'm very organized kind of person."
"I can tell" as he took a quick glance at her cabin. Everything was at its place. Nothing was odd or looked messy.
"So what do you say?" he asked meeting her warm gaze.
She couldn't really say no to him at this point. Sanam nodded as a light smile playing across her lips.
"Okay, a hot latte then."
She grabbed her bag as she walked past him and into the elevator.

They settled at the caf with their respective hot drinks. They were middle of a conversation about their past and manage to share a few things with each other.
Aahil raised his gaze toward the woman sitting opposite of him. "Tell me one date which did not go as expected?"
A warm laugh escaped her lips. "You really want to know?"
He took a sip from his coffee. "Yeah, I'm curious to find out what turns you down."
"As if you know what turns me on?" She teasingly spoke.
His eyes widened slightly which was soon replaced with a grin. "I might have an idea."
Sanam rolled her eyes and leaned back into her seat. "You tell me yours first."
"About what turns me on?" He said, clearly playing with her words. "Well..."
Sanam couldn't help but feel hot of all sudden. "No - not about that! I mean.. about your date."
Aahil shook his head as he leaned forward.
"Alright then, the women I've dated in the past have only been after two things - money and the reputation of giving the chance to be with the Nawab. There were no feelings attached or whatsoever. Not there were any feelings from here. It starts to become artificial."
Sanam nodded and understood how and why he behaved the way he did sometimes.
"What about you?" he asked.
"I had this guy I was out with once and I didn't like the way he would talk." Sanam spoke as she thought back on one particular evening she had spent with a man.
Aahil raised an eyebrow. "The way he talked?"
"Yeah" she said as if there was nothing wrong with the statement.
"Wow, talk about having standers."
Sanam shot him a soft glare. "Oh, look who's talking?"
"You know me" he said with a smirk playing on his face.
"Anyway, on top of that he was very arrogant as well."
Sanam shared a look with him in amusement.
"In what way?"
"He kept leading on to the next level of the relationship - which there were no relationship to begin with."
Aahil nodded as she studied her words carefully. He watched how she took a sip from her own drink.
He couldn't help but feel a bit insecure in his own territory.
"Is there anything you don't like here?" Aahil asked meeting her eyes.
"I don't like you have the top buttons undone."
He blinked, slightly surprised by her answer. She had at times reached out to straighten his collar of his shirt or tucked the blazer, so there would be no wrinkles.
"You don't like that I have top buttons undone? Come on, Sanam, I was kind of hoping that it would have started a chain reaction from you." He chuckled.
"Aahil, in case you haven't noticed - which I think you already have - every single and non-single woman have been staring at you since we first got here."
He leaned back into the seat. "So you've noticed?"
Sanam shrugged her shoulders while responding. "It was just a quick observation, nothing else."
Aahil grinned. "You're becoming more possessive and dominating - I love it."
She met his eyes. "Did you just use the L word?"
"You know I did and I'm sure you probably know the meaning of it."
She remained quiet for a minute.
"Your eyes are saying the same thing, Sanam."
She bit her lip lightly. "How do you know what my eyes are reflecting?"
"I'm just good at reading your hidden signs."
At this stage of their relationship, passion was easily evident.
They wanted each other.
They wanted to claim each other like no other person had ever done before.
Sanam maintained to hold his intense gaze. "What are my eyes saying right now?"
Aahil smirked as he took a sip from his hot coffee.
