I may be in the minority here, but has anyone considered that Rehaan's keeping shut due to assuming he won't be taken seriously upon confessing Tanveer's wicked intentions to Ahil? I mean, Ahil blindly trusts Tanveer. He doesn't tolerate anyone speaking against or disrespecting her, and keeping that in mind, ask yourselves - would he believe Rehaan?
No, he won't. I can say that with confidence. Poor thing will learn the hard way what Tanveer is capable of.
I did think of that angle. And mentioned somewhere that he may not be able to "approach" Aahil directly but he can surely insinuate Sanam that there is more to the story or even guide both of them to give this marriage a try. My rue is not that he is quiet, but that he seems to give me the impression that he is waiting for this three month period to end after which he will conveniently take Sanam back. He does not care for his Ammi's wealth at that point, but it does not matter. He is staying in this house only and only to "wait for Sanam".
I like Rehaan. He may not be a 'bad boy' females fall head over heels for, but he isn't rotten at his heart (not yet). But your post does raise some valid questions about his character. I feel the Cv's are butchering everyone's character during this jealousy track.
Totally. They should stick with strong characterizations, which unfortunately Indian CVs dont.
I wish Rehaan had never fallen for Sanam. It ruined everything. What was the need? Everyone knew he wouldn't get the girl. He could have just been a good friend of Sanam. And if Cv's wanted to introduce the jealousy track, it could have been easily done. Ahil could have misinterpreted their closeness as 'something more'. Since I am strongly against humiliating anyone, I despise watching both Rehaan and Sanam mistreated. There are plenty of ways Cv's could have utilized to display Ahil's envy (I admit, I do like him envious!).
Totally. I wish there was no love triangle. That would be easier to watch. Additionally I do understand the envious reactions but dont condone it. No man should be emotionally or physically abusive with his wife. I don't know what this obsession with the anti hero is in Indian TV... emotional abuse is as bad as physical abuse and should never ever be used - for revenge or jealousy. Taunts, subtle anger, passive agression all is fine, but why the mistreatment???
Anyways, I'm babbling. What I wanted to add to your post was that I do pity Rehaan (Definitely in the minority here). Had he been outright negative/evil, I wouldn't have. But he was introduced as a sweet boy who truly fell for Sanam who wanted to make all her dreams come true, which makes me pity his current state. R's character is totally butchered, going from bad to worse. I do foresee him turning negative him the future. Maybe that's why Cv's aren't making his character reveal the truth to Ahil.
Yes, In the beginnig I felt so too. But by making him stay back I see him as nothing less than a convience seeking, back stabber. No matter what, he is choosing to back stab his brother. I agree Aahil wont trust him, but eventually the truth will be out right. in the scenario that Tanveer succeeds and robs Aahil of his property, Sanam ends the contract marriage and Rehaan marries her, will HE BE ABLE TO FACE AAHIL in the eye? Right now it is Aahil who is guilt ridden at times when he sees Rehaan, but what about the other way around?
BTW - Why does Qubool Hai have so many Vamps? Seriously?! Too much negativity, and too less main couple (Sahil). The show feels cluttered with so many storylines and subplots. Focus on the main couple, Cv's!
Totally. Too many cooks aka convulated tracks spoil the broth aka story.
Great reading your thoughts, :)⭐️
