Since this is your post and you love me, I'm going to assume that I can indulge in bitchery some healthy discussion here...
I don't know if people realize this, but almost all the posts lately seem to be jackhammering the same old nail. And honestly speaking, it goes beyond beating the dead horse. If you are really that frustrated, do a google image search of "baby animals". It will keep you entertained for hours. But ranting about the same inconsequential things ain't gonna get any of us anywhere. The "melodramatic" part of the title is so apt for this forum Candy! There is an elitist attitude that is just getting to me. I understand that we have two groups of people: the people who believe in constructive criticism, mockery, satire, and jokes at the expense of other people's art and then we have people who nurture the creative endeavors of others and take Thumper to heart with that whole If you can't say something nice, then don't say something at all. And that's fine. But then we have the swayers too. They sway depending on the situation and these are the ones I have a problem with. For the record, the ambiance of the forum has reached this melodramatic stage because people won't quit, nor are they willing to be constructive in their criticism/ take a drama at its face value. It's really not about being in the middle, holding hands, and singing Kumbaya. It's about deciding whether you want to really stick around and watch a drama keeping in mind that it is fiction with fictional characters, or simply leave.

Before reading this post; this is to share my view and not hurt anyone else's sentiments.
I've seen so many povs on the situation in QH right now and I just wanna say to my fellow quboolians, Chill guys! Zoya being in Ayaan's house is not the end of the world and the blame game is honestly . . . wow. Blows my mind.I'd just like to say before blaming Asad or Zoya or Ayaan or Nikhat even, put yourself in the character's shoes and see if you don't see things differently. I don't like this track just like everyone else and a lot of what has been shown was without logic and distasteful but we have to look at the bigger picture. Because there is one obviously. From Day 1 its been AsYa. You know it . . . I know it. This is just a phase. ZoYaan hasn't happened. Rabert and Mona has and this is all leading to something bigger and before we condemn the show let's wait to see where it leads. As for Asad, Yes, what he did was selfish though he thinks he's been selfless, he's subjected Zoya to a life that she doesn't want for his sake. There's been a lot of emotional blackmail going on. Asad got it from Ayaan and then from Shireen. Zoya got it from Asad as she'll do anything for him. Ayaan is doing this because of his sister also. Asad's love for his siblings made him make a choice that he should never have made. For as Dilshad said, it was not yet his right to make on Zoya. Was it a mistake? Yes. Is he human? Yes. I'm not defending him though it may seem like but look at it from his POV. If you had to chose between living without the person you loved to save a debilitating loved one, your sister/brother, what would you do?Another question, what you say about these characters would you say to someone you knew in reality in a similar situation? Take Nikhat for example, depressed and defeated at feeling like a failure and disappointment to her family. Can anyone but her understand why she's done what she's done to herself?I'm not gonna comment on every character but just say that they are flawed and human and liable to make mistakes especially in such a high strung emotional state. To err is human and they've made a mistake that they all have to live with. Was it the right decision, probably not but before condemning each character for their actions, see it from the character's Pov first. At the end of the day, it's a show and yes, I too get emotionally attached to things and it's hard not to lash out when you care even for the fictional but melodramatics... The show has gone this route for a reason and we'll soon find out why. There is something bigger here than merely getting Nikhat married. Zoya may just discover her long-lost father under her nose and it'll be AsYa in the end. We've always known that. No story is without it's hurdles and this is just another one that will strengthen each character at the end of it.The creatives made sure to establish their couples beforehand. Emphasizing their love for each other before this about-face. It's a hurdle. An obstacle and no relationship is honky-dory. There are problems along the way. This is another glitch.Did I make sense? I don't know, you'll decide that 😆. Did I contradict myself? Probably 😆 I do that often, but my main point is just relax and enjoy the show. I for one won't stop watching because its something I don't like. There will always be things in life that we'll not like but what can ya do? Until and unless the story gets too far-fetched and convoluted to bear, I'm gonna see how things unfold.Purely my sentiments, agree or disagree to your hearts content but in a constructive manner 😊
