Since this is your post and you love me, I'm going to assume that I can indulge in bitchery some healthy discussion here...
I don't know if people realize this, but almost all the posts lately seem to be jackhammering the same old nail. And honestly speaking, it goes beyond beating the dead horse. If you are really that frustrated, do a google image search of "baby animals". It will keep you entertained for hours. But ranting about the same inconsequential things ain't gonna get any of us anywhere. The "melodramatic" part of the title is so apt for this forum Candy! There is an elitist attitude that is just getting to me. I understand that we have two groups of people: the people who believe in constructive criticism, mockery, satire, and jokes at the expense of other people's art and then we have people who nurture the creative endeavors of others and take Thumper to heart with that whole If you can't say something nice, then don't say something at all. And that's fine. But then we have the swayers too. They sway depending on the situation and these are the ones I have a problem with. For the record, the ambiance of the forum has reached this melodramatic stage because people won't quit, nor are they willing to be constructive in their criticism/ take a drama at its face value. It's really not about being in the middle, holding hands, and singing Kumbaya. It's about deciding whether you want to really stick around and watch a drama keeping in mind that it is fiction with fictional characters, or simply leave.
