Candy, loved your post, and loved your POV. I maintain that a lot of tables have turned, and all the characters are flawed. No one is 100% wrong, and no one is 100% right. The actors are doing a fab job too. By principle I have an issue with this track for a few reasons - 1. lack of logic 2. mockery of the institution of marriage/religious sentiments 3. juxtaposition of tracks in a haphazard manner 4. objectification of women, and a regressive attitude. Other than that this track had potential.Had it been done in a bit of a logical way. If you look at the very first episode there were clear signals of Zoyaan. But the CVs never stuck to the love triangle originally as AsYa started getting more prominence and love. Now they are shoving this in our mouths with a eat it or spit it attitude.I mean, the storyboard could have just been a bit logical..and more fluid. The way it was done is a bit distasteful in my opinion.

In the future, however, I don't see Zoya getting out of SM until atleast one of the two is established: Gafur learns that Zoya is his daughter and all members of SM have a good opinion about Zoya (like she wins over everyone...). This will lay the foundation for future meledrama when Zoya learns about Gafur.

In my heart of hearts, I don't want an anticlimatic end to this so called twist. As much as I want AsYa, and do not want Zoya to fall for Ayaan... I want Ayaan to fall in love with Zoya (I know my heart cries for Humeira baby too!!! She is so fragile!!!) but I want Ayaan to experience the pain of betrayal. Time immemorial, this guy has been taking those who love him for granted. At the slightest of slights, he jumps the sautela gun and makes Asad dance to his tunes. For once, I want him to feel what it is to be at the giving end. How did he react when Najma was the one Imran chose? That too, after they had clearly broken up with Nikhat!!! Just because Nikhat loved him. And, now he has the balls to go and ask Asad of Zoya. With zero sensitivity to what Zoya feels. I know where he comes from, but it will be good to see him taste his own medicine a bit. That's just my opinion.

It's funny and poetic justice (though I hate it) how Ayaan avenged Nikhat in a way. Your sis marries my sis's love, yo! I marry yours.

Too much convulation going on at the moment. But that's how my appetite is. I am glad I have fans who have a better appetite for this like you - and just so that I can have healthy discussions with you all, I'll continue to watch and bitch and bitch some more... :)

@Mona. I totally get your opinion. As I said there has been illogicality and distasteful things shown and women have been portrayed in a bad light as being weak and subservient and bred for marriage only. But I choose to look at the bigger picture at the moment which would ultimately be either Ayaan falling for Zoya to really cause a rift cuz let's face it if the attraction is mutual between Zoya-Ayaan then Asad is lost in the story. And second, Zoya finding out about her father because she now unknowingly lives under his roof.

Bring it on Candy! Bring it on! This one line "Why look for logic" ha ha, is your ram-ban nahi!??? Hey, you know I dont look for it anymore, but I still love dissecting it every day. Its like, I want to see how far they can get with this. :)

Yes, bigger picture is something good should come out of it. Not like Tanu exit which was so anticlimatic (only to hush angry viewers in my opinion).

I've been beating dead horse now when I say that SM is now like an atom bomb about to explode. All it will take for this to happen is one lonely night, Zoya brings out the musical box and plays it (how did it get there? Dont ask, lol.)

Gul has played it too safe with this track. Zoya still did not mention a word about Tanveer. Though I feel Dilshad, Asad atleast deserve to know. How on earth she thinks that just because Najma is happy, she should hide such a big fact about her hubby from her, specially now that she has seen what a skunk Haseena bi is.

This also paves the way for Asad being blackmailed into marrying Tanu later... if she gets TRPs Gul will prolong judai track like this. If she doesn't she will save this twist for the fourth nikaah. 😆
