Very nice post and the way you stated it, they do have reason to e quiet. We can say loud, India is moving fast catching up with world, girls are this and that, but fact remains girls in conservative places in our Modern India still go through alot and mentality of poeple is still same...

i agree wid u ...in qh every chatr has a back story ...n dat story reflects dere behaviour ...imran miyan ki back story has nt been fully highlighted as in if nt in front of all he can take a stand wen he goes back home but he never does so ...
shireen in d dumb chatr in d show ..n sumtyms i feel she is way too innocent for dis world n is highly insecure n manipulated
rashid ka i dunno but beside his behaviour i feel dere is a reason which is nt fully disclosed ...coz i feel he is nt as spineless as he seems to b ...sth holds him ...

but one thing is for sure ..if nikhat gets married to imran she has a real dark future ...

Excellent post as always. Gradually stated all you want to say, little is what I can add or subtract in the text.

Somewhere I have already written, as a non-Muslim, or from India, I am grateful that I can learn about a culture that is different from mine, since the main theme is universal and everyone can easily understand.

What I find really interesting are the comments. On the one hand, Law and blindly keeping rules (these days a lot has been written about the celebration of Ramadan, whether performed the wedding or not, can the pregnant women to marry or not, there was a story headlined "Stop playing with the culture" etc etc :)), on the other hand, wonderment why Dilshad, Asad, Zoya, Rashid, almost the entire team does not think fast, logical and ultimately modern. It is because of this contradiction I read various posts and of course learn :))

I believe the reason for this, a different way of life in the countries in which you live. It is possible that many of you originally from India but live elsewhere, the vast majority of the Muslim religion, there are many young people (it is easy to recognize because they are interested only for love story Asad / Zoya, which is fine, being romantic is not a sin: )), that is a very broad audience.

Someone who lives in an Indian family in India itself, can easily understand Nikhat, and Sheerin, a grandmother who may have arranged the wedding and I sincerely hope it's not like Haseena :))) (but it is to me an amazing character). Those who live in the countries of Europe, and in America, Canada, Australia etc.. probably brought up to respect traditional norms, but can not live apart from the rest of the world. They go to school, play with the children there, read some other books and eventually blend into the environment in which they live. This is completely normal. It is normal and your parents provide more freedom of thinking and acting, as also under the influence of their colleagues, neighbors and friends who are not from Hindustan, some generations beyond motherland and it is understandable that they can not behave like 200 years ago. For this reason, procedures Asad Rashid, Dilshad, Imran, Nejma, Ayan and others seem illogical. Thus, they are illogical, but not for someone who thinks like them.

And I was offended by the statement Gul Khan of the masses, but when you think about it, she's right. It depends on advertising, producers, TRP, CV (though I do not know what it is :)) depends on the audience and the high voltage, because she has to think about all the categories of people who watch the show. Dramaturgical well keep the basic story, trips out of it sometimes, but if you stay consistent, will have eternal scenes that will be remembered and watch many more times.

After all, you're the audience (I also), and as long as you want, the series will go in the direction you want :)) Of course sometimes that Gul wants :))

Even in the west most women do want to get married. However, marraige at the expense of once's self respect does not appear worth it to me!

I myself am married, but I always wanted marraige on my terms. I never wanted to marry coz my parents wanted it, or coz I thought I SHOULD be married. I think Nikhat loves Imran, so she is tolerating a lot of crap from Haseena fatty! More than she EVER should. Even before she started to fall for Imran, she was putting up with Haseena's crap! I think it's coz she has an inferiority complex RE her complexion!

I WISH Gul would show Nikhat standing up for herself. She cant always let Ayaan and even Asad fight her battels for her! She needs to grow a pair too! Shireen only cares about her daughter getting married. The future she will have appears NOT to concern her. I have always felt really bad for women with Mother's like that! They only think of having a "Married daughter"! But the state of that married daughter is not something she concentrates on. It is good to be married, but ONLY in the right circumstances, not just so you can say your married!

I wish society would stop putting pressure on people to "Be Married" even if it makes them miserable. There IS such a thing as "Happy and Single" too! If this was the case, then people, especially girls, would not feel the pressure to marry someone regardless of the circumstances just to please their family and society!

👏 I have always wondered why Gul's characters get so badly bashed up...the reason is what U have mentioned..I think she manages to catch the attention with her story telling, but her characters and situations are really beyond the grasp of a majority of her viewers.

We have moved on- we have INDIA SHINING now...with women excelling IN ALL FIELDS...Sadly, what many people are unaware about, is the fact that, we have this world also living amongst us- and that is EXACTLY WHAT GUL Is trying to show. 👏

I'd really like to ask U a Q: Why should Nikhat stand up for herself, when ALL AROUND, SHE HAS ONLY SEEN WOMEN BEING SUBMISSIVE TO THEIR HUSBANDS?

In your upbringing, it is something you cannot think of, but coming from were Nikhat comes from, it is simply the norm. Yes...Gul will show her fighting her battles in HER OWN WAY- it may not be your way or my way. We all grow with the experiences life teach us- Dilshad has, because life threw more at her- and she did not go fighting or screaming for a share or justice, she simply tried to forgive and forget and move on...at least, she tried.😳.

This is the situation a lot many girls in INDIA STILL FACE- humiliation at the MIL's hands...some of them stand up, some don't...I am really hoping Imran will stand up for Nikhat, if Gul is planning to show that- but again, that'll happen much later, IF IT HAS TO, since he has to grow by leaps and bounds too.😊
