I agree with some of what you have said. However, this whole "Must get married" thing is really beyond me! I guess coz I have spent most of my life in a western culture. Here some people never get married. (some live with people, and some dont). But to each their own.
Even in the west most women do want to get married. However, marraige at the expense of once's self respect does not appear worth it to me!
I myself am married, but I always wanted marraige on my terms. I never wanted to marry coz my parents wanted it, or coz I thought I SHOULD be married. I think Nikhat loves Imran, so she is tolerating a lot of crap from Haseena fatty! More than she EVER should. Even before she started to fall for Imran, she was putting up with Haseena's crap! I think it's coz she has an inferiority complex RE her complexion!
I WISH Gul would show Nikhat standing up for herself. She cant always let Ayaan and even Asad fight her battels for her! She needs to grow a pair too! Shireen only cares about her daughter getting married. The future she will have appears NOT to concern her. I have always felt really bad for women with Mother's like that! They only think of having a "Married daughter"! But the state of that married daughter is not something she concentrates on. It is good to be married, but ONLY in the right circumstances, not just so you can say your married!
I wish society would stop putting pressure on people to "Be Married" even if it makes them miserable. There IS such a thing as "Happy and Single" too! If this was the case, then people, especially girls, would not feel the pressure to marry someone regardless of the circumstances just to please their family and society!
