Why Imran, Rashid and Shireen are silent?

What is Haseena Bi like?- She is a character who has no shame...and what do U usually do when U R challenged by people who are thick-skulled and thick skinned?...IGNORE THEM...There is no point ARGUING WITH A FOOL.

1. Imran: Watch the Tue segment. He is still upset with Ayan...but he likes NIkhat enough to pursue this relationship (Remember this is also the guy who appreciated Nikhat's dance and alerted her about Ammi seeing it. And he has also shared dreams of a future WITH JUST THE TWO OF THEM TOGETHER)

How did he react when Ayan shouted at his Ammi on the Rajani issue? He kept quiet, in fact, hung his head in shame, because he felt Ayan was right there...His Ammi really had no business interfering in HUmeira's matter!

And what did he do when he saw the injustice meted out to Nikhat? He tried to tell her to keep quiet, and then shut up...WHY?

It is the GENERATION GAP! Hasena Bee has some pretty orthodox concepts and a very uncultured manner...she boasts about her 'family'- when in fact, her behaviour shows her real face- she is a woman with a huge inferiority complex, hiding under the pride of being the groom's mother, and finding joy in tormenting Nikhat...mostly about her complexion.

Would a well mannered person try to fight a fool like that in public? What would happen if Imran tried correcting his mother in public? She'd go about in the same unabashed way, calling him a wife- worshipper, pulling some emotional blackmail- LIKE SHE DID, THE LAST TIME IMRAN TRIED DEFENDING NIKHAT.

Therefore, the best option is to stay silent, ESPECIALLY if Nikhat's own parents are silent. Nikhat is not his responsibility yet, when she becomes that, he will voice his concern. *If she becomes his wife, that is- and I feel Imran- nikhat will happen in teh end b'coz, Imran did confide in NIkhat about having had a relationship in teh past...without her having to dig in- he stayed silent about the kid, because he cannot accept Tanveer- since she was the one who left him, and he has probably developed feelings for Nikhat. I am hoping Imran is just gray and not black. In that case, he does not a deserve a woman who is a murderer (potential) and wh**e(by her own admission).*

What is Imran's attitude to his mother...he would be ashamed to produce her in front of an educated crowd, but the fact is, he takes good care of her- in spite of not agreeing with her on many things- he tries to be a GOOD SON. But the moment he feels SHE HAS EXCEEDED THE LIMITS OF HIS TOLERANCE, HE WILL WALK OUT- I guess.

2. Shireen: The weakest character in QH- deserving only PITY...and not hatred. Every one pities her, including her own husband. And her greatest fear is that Nikhat will never get married- because of her colour. And now after the NIGHT IMRAN AND NIKHAT SPENT TOGETHER, there is no way she can allow this rishta to break! If this sbreaks, Shireen would most likely commit suicide- like SHE ALREADY TRIED! She is blind to the TERRIBLE FITURE THAT AWAITS NIKHAT in her sasuraal- like most parents who feel the burden of an unmarried daughter.

3. Rashid: Another weak personality. Shireen held him back citing Ramzan, but the point is she herself accused him of being insensitive to Nikhat's issue, TREATING HER AND HER KIDS AS SAUTELA- even if she felt yesterday that Haseena was crossing her limits and her husband had a point, retaliating- she holds him back.

4. AYAN WAS CONSPICUOUSLY ABSENT IN THAT SCENE: Very smart move by the CVs👏- if he had been there, he'd have taken it up, and Imran'd have to agree that he had a valid point...in the ensuing war of words between Haseena nad Ayan, that is.

WHAT IS GUL TRYING TO SHOW US HERE?⭐️

Is it not the battle of the Traditional Vs The Modern???⭐️

Look at the two houses.

They both have daughters who could be neglected in the marriage 'market'.

Nikhat is dark skinned, while Najma is plump (could be a problem in some proposals) and FATHERLESS (Daughter of a man who left her mother..not najayaz, but her father's shame haunts her too)...

If Dilshad was pressed in to a situation like Shireen was yesterday, how'd she behave? She'd stand up and order the woman out OF HER HOUSE FIRMLY.👏👏👏

And while Ayan is the only one fighting Haseena Bee openly, Asad'd receive a pat on his back by his Ammi, Tamatar and Zoya for asking his would be BIL to stand up and show his spine...

I hope this throws some light into Gul's statement that QH is NOT ESSENTIALLY A LOVE STORY.👏👏👏

If any of you feel that KEEP ASIDE the Tanveer relation, Imran still does not deserve Nikhat for being the son of his mother, and staying silent..😉..remember the convo that Asad had with Nikhat before HE DECIDED TO SUPPORT HER DECISION TO GO AHEAD WITH THE REALATIONSHIP...IT WAS NIKHAT'S CHOICE...SHE CHOSE IMRAN, knowing how humiliated she'd be in her sasuraal- BECAUSE SHE FELT THAT HE REALLY LIKED HER.😳

awesome post! yje fear of having an unmarried daughter can lead parents to take the worst decision, sometimes. nikhat doesn't deserve that family. the worst part is, that her parents, especially her mother, doesn't believe in the potential nikhat has. she's an educated and polished girl who could do much better than land up with that monster-in-law Hasina. She just needs to wait for the right person to fnd her... but shireen's in too much of a hurry to get her daughter married and out of the house. and nikhat has to suffer the consequences of this hasty decision.
