He was right.
From his perspective, he has only seen Ms. Farouqui act all hyper with some 'made-up' accusations that have never borne fruit.
On the other hand, he has first hand seen how jealous Ms.Faoruqui has gotten when Tunveer touches him or seeks his company. She has also admitted to it.
The audience is privy to all the happenings; but Mr. Khan at best can only associate all of Ms. Farouqui's allegations as her flights of jealousy or at worst see them as her losing her marbles.
He has been given absolutely no cause to doubt a childhood friend whom even his mother likes a lot and calls the epitome of decorum and gentility.
Making Ms.Faoruqui apologize was actually quite right and showing etiquette(from his POV); which Ms. Farouqui, frankly, has displayed little of so far.
As a guest she has repeatedly interfered in their personal business, and in the name of 'good for you/thought about you', meddled to her heart's content.
In any society's book, it is rather bad manners and lack of culture to do so.

Ok, please see that I am not contesting your opinion. Just trying to know other perspectives. Yes Zoya does make accusations but she did support to some extent. Asad does know that Zoya is clear person by heart. Yes he does not know and that is why He shd try to know that why Zoya is saying what she is? As Zoya said I have seen the papers? On trusting a childhood friend, thats fine and infact hugging too is but what is not fair is ignoring the signs in front of you. Tanveer clearly stated had she not gone then perhaps she wld have been in place of Zoya? And so many times Tanveer is clinging onto Asad and holding his hand. Well thats not etiquettes in any culture. He was right.

Shall we re-phrase the question:
Is Asad right in anything he does at all? 🤔
Trust is a BIG issue here. Despite the Zoya asserting herself, Asad does not relent. She states clearly why would she do that? Obviously not to listen to bitter words by Asad. Zoya was crying and hurt and even Dilshad too and Asad is asking Tanveer whether she was OK? Now what do we call this?Originally posted by: A.Hajnal
TOday is the first day that I am really want to hit my head because of Asad...Yaar whats the problem why all heros of Gul are so dumb when it comes to find the truth and trust the right person...WHT...😡
I HATE TANVEER...that...and NO, Asad shouldn't have asked her to apologize...and then ask TANVEER that if she is ok...Dude ZOYA the love of your life is crying and you are asking your-so-called childhood friend if she is ok...?? 😲 and then As we can see he melts with tears...Zoya should also cry...she should do Nautangi like Tanu does so Asad will stop making her do rubbish like saying sorry to..."Ahem Ahem" lol
RIght, Tanveer plays with emotions of Asad and he plays along! Never has he reflected back at all even when the recent circumstances indicate otherwise. Zoya is a simple hearted person who lacks deceit but Tanveer is a master conniver. Her techniques will be straight forward ones. ZOya shd have kept the bank statement and shown it to Asad😆😆Agreed it wont belittle Zoya but surely it did hurt her and thats not a nice feeling. When we truly love the other person then we do not hurt them and more so do not unabashedly ignore their hurt ( zoya crying and asad tending to tanveer?)Maybe now Zoya will be on guard and not underestimate Tanu.Zoya knows Asad doesnt completely trust her so if she should blame Tanu then she should have solid, concrete proof with her. These slip ups will make her look bad.
Dnt get me wrong i didnt like him asking her to apologize but Billi loves to play with Asad's sympathy for her.Asad is a jerk but today he actually ws hurt that Zoya had to apologize.Apologizing wont belittle Zoya but when the future is not Asad will be sorry he ever doubted Zoya. His trust in her will improved but I dnt know about Zoya.I guess somebody is going to have to pay a price for these trust issues to get sorted out and it will be Zoya
With due respect to your opinion let me ask you IS IT right to ignore the facts that Zoya said today that she experienced herself? He was right.
