Hola peeps!
Most of you don't know me, 'cos me and my friends (Ze Chamelis) used to be on The Forum that Cannot Be Named as we watched the show That Could Not Name Love. Alas, that show ended, and so did our spamming. Temporarily. Today we decided on a one time revival. Because we were bored.
So, most of my friends haven't watched QH. (Deep, emotional issues with the PH. Most of them were scarred from the last experience) But I am thicker skinned. Also easily bored. So I have watched the last few months. So, in order to introduce them to the show proper, I present:
QH for Dummies: A Guide
The Story
Asad Ahmad Khan is a rich tycoon with emotional issues due to a dark past that involved his father having an extra-marital...(sound familiar? It's not. It's totally different!) because he didn't have an extra-marital affair. He had an extra-marital WIFE. 2 wives. Kids with both of them. One is distressingly good. The other has hair like Diana Ross and acts like well...she barely acts. She mostly hangs out like a limp dishrag.
Zoya Farooqui is an orphan from New York who was clearly raised in Jharkhand portion of the Bronx. Her accent is distinctly North Indian from New York. She's also bubbly, chirpy, slightly crazy and calls on Allah Miyan for assistance all the time.
Zoya and Asad fall in love. But they cannot reveal their love because Asad's mother loves Zoya and wants him to marry her. That is the biggest problem. Kyunki, agar Mummy, miya, aur biwi raazi, toh Gul kya khaak show banaegi?
These lovers are separated by verbal constipation, a scheming cat woman type villain, a brainy Moriarty level villain who gets slapped around by a woman who's around 75, a missing step brother (his hair quit!), and most importantly: Live Wires that bring them closer, only to take them further apart.
Kyunki...as we all know, Chamelis. Nafrat paas na aane de, electricity door na jaane de. Allah Miyan! Ye Asad current se immune hai kya? How casually he throws live wires in and out of water without gloves. He is an Earthing device, maybe.
Any kostins? I will do my best to answer. Special mention to the person who solves the cat music conundrum.
