I have a question for all you guys, Do you think Asad would have gone through the engagement had Zoya not taken back her 'Jii haan"?

Does everyone feel he is past all his "she is a misfit" issue and all that?

If Zoe hand taken her jii back he would have definitely gotten engaged to her. But the minute she flip-flopped his ego and his insecurities were back full gear and he told her very clearly that the only circumstance he would ge married in is a true one.

I think post her father issue he hasn't viewed her a misfit to his life at all. In fact I think he lives in fear of hurting her worse than she has ever been.

Hmmm I wish they showed his expression when she suddenly said no. Would have helped figure out his mind set. But considering Asad's character would he really agree to be engaged to her just as an act even if she said yes? He considers it to be a paak rishta which he doesn't want to disrespect.

Ah yes I agree I always felt his fear came mostly from the fact he might hurt her because he is his fathers son.
But if you remember in that same inner monolouge he also said that him and her are very different and they wouldn't be able to be together so im wondering if the differences dont bother him anymore or do they?
