I totally Agree with u!! I was really shocked after watching today's episode.. It was so unexpected from a guy lyk Asad who is soo traditional and well mannered.. Hating CV's for doing this to Asad's character . They just put the end to Asad and Zoya's love story, even before it started.. 😭

Godhuli,I was really hoping that they dnt air this scene too but they had to go ahead and do this!THey couldn't find any other ways of showing Asad's anger or pain but the quickest, easiest option was to resort to physical violence! For me this is the very first big step to the character assasination of Asad Ahmed Khan and that too, this early on in the show!Even if he does repent,it wont be long before his disrespect for Zoya starts it's cycle again with Zoya just merrily prancing about in her comedy acts.

Went and changed the title of post as a many here are thinking that I am only against violence towards woman but let me put everyone staright in saying that I stress with all my might that I am against physical violence in any shape or form... question of equality of gender shouldn't even be brought here as the scenario at hand is of a man slapping a woman and not vice versa and believe me if it was the latter, than I would also take a stand! So before making any such statements please read the topic carefully!

Hi...just read your PM and came to reply and here is what I have to say :
This story is becoming ridiculous by the minute, and I really do not know what to say.
However, to answer your question, my friend, I am going to say a few sentences.
Yes, it is wrong for him to slap her no matter how angry he is. But say Asad loses Dilshad, can Zoya replace his Mother for him??
Even if it turns out that Razia sent the shooters, it is still Maryam's fault for opening the door for strangers when it is not even her house. I am gonna be frank, it's because of the combined stupidity of both Zoya and her guest that Asad is having to see this day.
Thank you for messaging me, and giving me a chance to give my 2 cents on the issue 😊

Yes eh was angry, emotional, couldn't think right but he could have showed anger in some other ways. I couldn't imagine Asad hitting any woman even in my wildest thoughts. Being raised by a single mother, loving with two women, I thought he has huge respect for women and won't do any such thing under any circumstances but I was wrong. At the moment, I just can't respect Asad. I just don't feel right. I need time to get over this and he needs to redeem A LOT. He needs to feel guilt, immense guilt even before finding the truth out. He needs to realize how low he stooped by slapping Zoya. And after finding out the truth, I want to repent really bad. And Zoya better not make it easy for him. She better make him pay hard. don't wanna see a love track starting anytime soon. I can't take it. I'm so utterly disappointed. I'm just hoping Asad's mom finds out about the slap and makes him realize how low he stooped. How wrong it is to hit a woman.

Totally agree! As my friend;'s husband said, a real man makes his points without raising his fists. The writers have destroyed this character. I really do not have much hope for these writers.

I've always felt a women is a womens greatest enemy. Us Women are the most critical in our judgement of others. If something happens, A women will say the girl was probably to blame. I too was hoping female directors would change this perception and show women as respectable independant individuals but alas I was wrong...

Agree.😊
