O, Asad will probably slap himself, try to break his hand etc and then Zoya will get all mushy over it and they we'll get those stupid mitawa moments...

Laial...I really dnt know now if I can stomach any mushy or any kind of romance for that matter between Asya and as for those mitwa moments...today it lost all significance for me!

The sad truth is that women perpetuate violence against other women...

but it's going to have to be women who break the cycle...but Gul Khan is clearly not one of them!

I agree..this is really a disappointment to see this happening on this show.

Today I am really disappointed in the makers of this show, esp Gul Khan ( btw is she a woman ? )...if she is , then I don't understand how she can show something like this and justify it too on top of that.
No matter what emotional turmoil Asad is going through, no matter how hurt or scared he was...he could have verbally abused her if they so wanted him to vent his anger, he could have kicked her out the house, but this slap is just a big DISAPPOINTMENT !!!! Especially coming from a character like Asad Ahmed Khan who doesn't even allow his younger brother to flirt or tease women, coz he finds it inappropiate...and this same man slaps someone...let alone a woman ...

Now I hope that somehow Rashied in involved in Zoya's moms murder and if that is the case, I want Zoya to slap Rashied too as hard as she can...

Also if Asad comes to know the truth, maybe he should just slap himself real hard too across the face for being such an ass 😡...

Agree with you completely!Gul sure must get some kind of high or thrill for displaying this level of violence. Here I was thinking that she is trying to spread the message on these social issues/women orientated issues but in this mannner, that too through the lead male actor and then expect us to fall in love with the main lead when his so called love and romance strikes!Really Gul?

It was just so horrible, I have no idea how they are going to show romance between the two after this whole hateful incident. Seriously, any woman will hate such a man.
I am sure he will regret his actions soon, but I don;t know, really want Zoe to make things hard for him, not forgive him that easily.. but I tell you.. for sure they will show her ignoring this incident, they will show her feeling guilty for the whole thing , she loves Dilshad like her mom, so for her sake she will face his anger and frustration.. really sad.. but I feel this is going to happen.

The sad part is many women in this forum think slap was needed, I mean seriously????😕😡

Thanks for your reply fanraya! Yes it is sad and disheartening to see that the majority of women here are even trying to justify the slap and as for ASya romance, really cnt see how they aer ging to work this out as I for suer dnt know if I can start warming up to the romance quotient again!

Gosh it has been ages that I have seen female characters being portrayed as strong, independent characters
And what pisses me off the most is when female Directors or Storywriters try justifying insulting women, abusing women through their shows , despite being women themselves
No wonder that men think they are never wrong when they misbehave with or abuse women...

That is why I always hated Ekta Kapoor and her shows and now it seems Gul Khan ( if she's a woman ) had joined that list as well...

We often think women will serve women well, but that's not the case. In my field of domestic violence, some of the hardest and most difficult cases of abuse involved women justifying it. I had cases where a mother defended her brother for molesting her daughter and said if she dressed properly it would never happen - go figure. This is nothing.

I agree. Asad's anger was justified but the slap was not. All violence is bad whether it's a man slapping a women or vice versa.
I've always felt a women is a womens greatest enemy. Us Women are the most critical in our judgement of others. If something happens, A women will say the girl was probably to blame. I too was hoping female directors would change this perception and show women as respectable independant individuals but alas I was wrong...
